      Ive always had positive experiences with Tire Discounters, but my recent visit was very disappointing. I purchased two tires and was promised a Veteran discount. However, AFTER signing for the work on their signature module, I received the receipt and noticed they applied a $50 discount but also added a $49.98 road hazard warranty that I did not want. When I asked to have the warranty removed, the store manager informed me that the sale was finalized and he couldnt issue a refund due to corporate policy. This experience has left me frustrated, as there was no mention of a road hazard warranty. I did not receive the paid invoice to review until after signing.--

      I had My driveshaft replaced at the store on Ferguson they removed the muffler, installed it the next day the mufflers in two pieces on my day off one week later I go back there’s no technicians to even work on the car another tire discounters the chain, and the manager refused to work on my car where it was clearly something that they didn’t do so they were not responsible. It is not screwed back together the muffler is only couple years old so don’t trust the chain thinking that one store is a company driven they will not do it. The other store said they are not responsible for another store , so they are not customer driven business.

      So I went to tire discounters to get a set of four tires and an alignment plus a power steering leak fix, which I already knew where it was coming from but when I took it there, they called and said that I needed my tie, rods and outer tie rods replaced when I just replaced them Two weeks prior to it and then they said I need an all new power steering pump when I did not, but I did not get the call. They called my uncle who was paying for it so therefore I could not decline services. And Lost out on $1200 because of it

      I wouldn’t even give one star. I blew a tire on the interstate and the closest place to take my vehicle was Tire Discounters off of Michigan Road. As simple as a tire replacement could be it was not. First the employee changing my tire came in and asked where to find the vehicle PSI. This should be common knowledge for a TIRE place. Tire PSI is on the inside of most vehicle doors. Then upon leaving there was a terrible screeching noise. I backed my vehicle up and asked the same service tech what the sound was coming from. His response “ I don’t know we didn’t pull it in to look at it we just replaced the tire. The noise was already there.” I trusted that statement and genuinely thought I messed my car up after blowing my tire out on the interstate. I immediately took my car to another shop and upon looking at my vehicle they notified me that the screeching noise came from the tire size being too large. This is a standard size vehicle tire. How can someone have this much negligence. I took and additional 4 hours out of my work day to handle this mistake they made.

      I bought a set of ******** at Tire Dicounters a couple of years ago. They came with free rotation which I take advantage of every now and then. This past Saturday I dropped in to see if they could do a rotation. Didnt have enough technicians but I could wait for a couple of hours for them to do the rotation. I asked the manager about having it done on Monday. Fine said the manager; what time would you like the appointment, we are available all day. 11:30 said I. Arrived today at 11:25 and was told that they had a tech call in sick today and it would be awhile before they could get to it. I stated that I would wait. Forty minutes goes by, no vehicles have left the shop and I figure that the way this is going, I will be there until 3 or 4 oclock. I go to the desk and ask for my keys back and and told the guy at the desk that I will take the car to *** ******* where they observe appointments. By the way, while I was sitting there a young man walked in and got a price on one tire. The tire was $147.00 but with all of the additional charges that the threw on, it came out to around $220.00. I bought my last set of truck tires at ****** and everything was included. I priced out a set of tires for the car just for fun today and discovered that I can save over $300.00 by buying the tires at ******. Once upon a time I bought all of my tires at Tire Discounters, but after today, I will probably never set foot inside a Tire Discounters again. Sad to see what used to be a great tire store go to the basement.

      I took my car to tire discounters on Winton road in Finney town on 8/3/24 to have 4 new tires put on which came with a free oil-change. i scheduled the appointment on line, when i arrived their system did not show the appointment nor did they have the tires that i had picked out on line. after having my car from 9-5 it was brought to my attention today by Joe the store manager that there was no proof that an oil change was done. Even though their oil change sticker was placed inside my car in the upper left front windshield which i took a picture of and showed Joe..........he said that was not proof, Trying to reach someone in corporate was impossible i'm going to contact **** ******** at channel * news and bring this to their attention. Never again.

      I made an appointment to get one (1) tire replaced. A singular solitaire tire. I came in a bit early (I'm early for all appointments) for my 2pm appointment (I sat down in the waiting area at around 1:45pm). My car didn't even get into the shop until almost 3pm. I finally got to leave a little after 4pm. Now, the employees seemed fine, and I feel like this is more an overbooking issue. The manager said they were fully staffed and still 2+ hours behind. But, corporate greed always wins, so I assume they force them to overbook because gotta pay for the yachts the execs have, right?Also, they need to not sell crappy off-brands that are a trap to people like me with little knowledge of tires and such. I basically wasted 150 dollars on a tire I'm just going to replace next week, along with the other 3 tires.

      Its Saturday, August 10,2024. I had a 9am appointment to install four tires only they never called me to tell me my vehicle was ready and they closed at 4 oclock today, August 10, 2024. They are not open on Sunday at all so now they still have my car and I cant get it until Monday morning and my husband has does not have his car to go to work so I wouldnt recommend this location to anyone, I plan on suing.

      Hoooorrriiiiibbbllleeee!!! My tires were purchased and installed in 7/2023 with a 70,000 3 year warranty.I am not near my warranty period maximums. My wife had to instruct the regional manager to their limited warranty policy on their website for him to read it. He isn't fully understanding of their own polices and like to add stuff to it that doesn't even appear even in small writting. All of my service appointments for rotations, balances, and alignments were all done at this location. Here we are 8/2024 one year and 2 weeks after purchase and installation of the tires we find out that my tires are needing a replacement. Hooowwww? Especially after I have had my tires serviced in all ways through you. No one ever mentioned before the Full Warrany 1 year replacement about my tires wearing extremely fast. No one at your store mentioned it. Now after that time frame has ended ya'll feel comfortable with advising that these defective tires need to be replaced and ya'll are willing to give me $300.00 proration to get new tires. Even with the $300.00 proration it will cost me more with that credit applied than what other companies are charging for 80,000 mile warranty tires. This company has been very difficult to work with and very conniving. Beware. I will be moving forward with my complaint. They are not right and not to be trusted. Take your money elsewhere.

      We apologize for any misunderstanding around the ***** manufacturer warranty. The set of ***** tires you purchased with Tire Discounters in July of 2023 came with a ***** manufacturer tread life warranty of 70,000 miles.  Unfortunately, the tires only lasted 40,000 of the 70,000 miles warrantied by the manufacturer. According to *****s’ warranty information (link included below) with the proof of regular tire rotations, which the store provided, you are entitled to a prorated amount of your original purchase to be used towards a new set of tires, should the tread life not meet the 70,000 mile pledge.  The prorated amount that ***** offered you was $341 towards a new set of tires. The 3 year warranty that you mention was not a ***** warranty, but is an optional Tire Discounters road hazard warranty that we offer customers at an additional cost which you had not purchased.  However, our road hazard warranty would not have applied to this situation as it only protects the consumer against non-repairable damage caused by puncture, snag, cut, bruise, or impact break (as per the Tire Discounters road hazard warranty listed on our website).  ***** ***** **** ******** ****  **********************************************************************************************************

      That is not part of the hazard warranty what my wife stated and directed the regional manager to (see further down). Alsosince that was bought up by you the store employees did advise me that the hazard protection would have provided me new tires in this event which I knew that was inaccurate. The bottom line isyour store handled all of the rotation, balance, and alignments. Not once did you notify me that the tires were wearing fast. If you arent looking out for the customer why are you in business. You all specifically waited until the 1 year warranty was up to mention anything about the thread being worn. Im just notifying the public to make sure they are aware. The rotation, balance, and alignments through you makes sure that the tires have life and are in their best condition. Then the manager went on to put blame on my vehicle where it was looked at by 3 different companies and they advised that my vehicle would not have caused tires to wear in that nature and the manager advised that he disagreed. Thats 3 against one person saying otherwise. You do not stand by your product or your warranties. There 3 other companies advised it should have never gotten to this point and should have been handled before the 1 year was up. Point, blank, period.
