1 starBUYER BEWARE! I have been waiting for weeks for my refund. They state it takes 4-6 weeks for a check refund (which is extremely long) but even after waiting 6 weeks, no one on their customer service can verify if a refund has been submitted. Several people just state that they will provide an update as soon as possible. Extremely unprofessional company. They missed the appointment and when I ask for a refund for their failure to meet their scheduled appointments, they now fail to meet their 4-6 week timeline for refunds. 1 starTake your business elsewhere. HelloTech will be out of business soon. This is from the perspective of one of their top techs. When I started taking job offers from HelloTech years ago, the techs received the larger portion of payout (which is how it should be). NO TECHS EQUALS NO HELLOTECH. After several partnerships, tech payout is less than half in most ********* that they have lost most of their techs to competitors, they have resorted to annoying the few of us left by sending job offers hundreds of miles from home and even out of state, even though they CANNOT AFFORD to pay what it would cost to convince any tech to travel that far. Especially, since most techs have full-time day jobs and do not have the time or interest to travel that far.However, even after making multiple requests to management to stop sending offers that fall outside of the tech's schedule and distance preferences, they continue to ignore and show a complete lack of respect to the *********, they are doing just so they can tell customer's in areas where there are no techs that they tried to find a tech. Instead of being up front with the customer, they would rather annoy techs (in another state or city) knowing full well the techs will not accept the job offer, because they have already been notified by the tech that they only accept jobs within their preferred schedule and distance preferences. Keep in mind, this company is ONLY A PLATFORM. They do not have employed (W2) techs. They just contract to local resources. Do yourself (and the hard working techs) a favor and take your business elsewhere. Companies that use these sort of predatory and deceptive practices do not deserve your hard earned money. 1 starI contacted Hello Tech to get a security camera online. The technician was unable to get it online. I was charged for the visit for which I paid. The issue is I'm being charged a monthly fee and I am unable to cancel it. I do not remermber signing up for a membership since I don't plan on using any of thier services. I gave it a onje star since there are no star ratings. Ii seems that I am not the only one with this issue.Review fromLeonard K

1 starI used this company 10 years ago, with no problem. Currently I requested service and sorry I did, as the whole situation is & still a nightmare. Service *** was here Sat the 22nd of February. When the *** left he said all was working OK, but the nex morning my computer had the same problem. as before. I calleda couple of times, but I was connected to people, who spoke english, which In could not understand because of their accent. I sent a complaint Sunday th 24th, but never received answer. I called again Tuesday the 25th,and was connected to a male, who I could understand. I wanted to cancel our ********************* my credit card $99.00. Thst person told me that they could take off part of the charges, and would transfer me to smeone to take care of the balance. I waited & waited & then I was connected to your voice message again. They then asked me to leave a telephone **************** would call me back. It has now bee almost 3 hours, with no phone call. What does it take to get a refund of the $99.00.Review fromJared C

1 starRip off. Set up the cameras in a way where the wifi didnt even connect and wound up leaving. Had to reinstall the cameras myself to make them work. Now they wont give me my money back and are giving ********** issues when Im disputing. $529 I paid unbelievable. Total rip off and I want my money back.Review fromLeslie Q

1 star******* is using them in *******. I hired them prepaid for tv wall mount. First they had no technicians in my area, so I cancelled and wanted a refund. They said they couldnt refund my money but would send a check. I contacted ******* and explained the situation and they said they would refund my money. Then Hello Tech wanted a ***** cancel fee. This company is the WORST ****** DISHONEST I HAVE EVER DEALT WITH !!! They should be investigated by the BBB, *** AND IRS!Review fromLeigh G

I was quoted a price for services and the monthly subscription at a discounted rate of $199(subscription) and the mounting cost -- All of my needs for mounting TV were clearly written in my conversation with the technician on phone. I verified the amount quoted was for all of the above mentioned and she confirmed. I stupidly paid the for the mounting cost without seeing the quote that came to my email AFTER I paid. It didn't have all of my services in the quote as I clearly requested. I immediately contacted tech support asking about this. They then stated it cost X amount of $ more. I stated please cancel everything! She asked why? I stated because this company is not being truthful, and I wanted my money back. This conversation was within 20 minutes of paying. She credited my Service for the TV mounting and then stated she was waiving my cancellation fee. What? The cancellation fee per their website was with well within a free cancelation. I requested the transcript for the conversation, and was told the $199 subscription fee would be off my credit card by 4 pm that afternoon. Guess what? it posted to my account and now I am trying to get it removed. I now realize after the fact; they are just trying to sell the membership and hope you don't notice that they misquoted you. That way, when they get to your house, they charge you more and you are still on hook for the membership fee. The techs must get some kind of bonus for selling the membership. They are misrepresenting their fees to sell the subscription RUN from them DO NOT use this company!! If I could give 1/2 star - I would.HelloTech

My husband and I would give ****** ***** from HelloTech SEVEN Stars out of five!! We moved to Mt. ****** from ** about a year ago, near ****** ************ estate. Wifi, phone connection is so horrendously bad that we thought the physical ether net connection would help. However, the area's providers didn't want to work with us or could not do it. HelloTech's ****** recommended using a mesh unit and with several model options. I purchased it at a local store and he came and performed a miracle for us. He went beyond our expectations. We have never had anybody so professional and efficient and kind. Very reasonable charge. I am requesting another project soon. Thank you, ****** and HellTech!HelloTech
