      I've booked an appointment on Sunday for Monday. On Monday, the technician have not showed up an I've later found out that the appointment was rescheduled to Tuesday. On Tuesday, the technician did not show up either, 45 minutes after he was suppose to show up, I got charged "rescheduling fee". I get that "stuff" happens and then appointments might need to be rebooked. But that happening twice in a row with no communication and then being charged for something that is not my fault is very concerning behavior. My take is to stay away from HelloTech as far as you can.

      First, we would like to apologize for the experience that you've had with HelloTech thus far. We reviewed your account, and you are correct. Your appointments were canceled due to no fault of your own. We agree that this should not have happened and have addressed these concerns accordingly.

      Although this behavior is not typical of our technicians, we understand wanting to cancel your order and be refunded. With that said all of the charges related to your account were refunded to your account and made available on 06/28/22.

      DO NOT USE HELLOTECH! COMPLETE SCAM. We decided to go with HelloTech, because the company was recommended to us during purchasing our tv. We chose HelloTech, because they offered same day installation. We were very flexible with days and times, but our status remained pending for days. I contacted a representative who was in a different country, who did not understand my frustration, as well as did not provide any valuable help to me. She rudely told me I needed to be patient, as well as do not get my hopes up because it can take weeks to get someone out. I then proceeded to get online assistance with a HelloTech rep, I explained my issue, and they tech advised he would cancel my membership and refund me. The tech never cancelled my membership and instead of refunding me I we charged another membership fee. Super frustrating. Lesson I learned is stop giving my service to these companies who do not value their moto nor their customers. We found a local tech company who is awesome and I we will be supporting family owned small businesses from now on. Not these money hungry janky chains like HELLOTECH.

      Generally, if there is an unchanged pending status for a job it means that the customer is in a low coverage area. While we would like to provide our services to every customer who needs assistance with their tech devices, that sometimes just isn't possible. In an effort to better serve our customers, we have made adjustments in our coverage availability to alleviate others from having a similar experience.

      Regarding the membership fee, we tried looking up your account to ensure that the fees were refunded and that these issues were properly addressed. Unfortunately, we were unable to locate it.       I had someone from HelloTech come over to mount my TV. In less than two hours, the TV fell off the wall, causing significant damage. I've submitted damage claim forms but haven't heard back. I've spent hours reaching out via their chat, email, and telephone. Still can't get through. They even send me texts asking for feedback and once I mention the damage claim, there is radio silence. I spent over $350 to have a TV mounted because I wanted to make sure a professional did it. I've never left a bad review in my life so this is incredibly disappointing.

      Have used Hello Tech services for over ten years, and enjoyed good service. However--called to schedule an appointment to have a tech come out and install a new computer. It was an additional charge to transfer data. I agreed to the price and mentioned that we also needed to have our printer hooked up to the new computer. She told me that was included in installation price and she ensured me that she added the printer install in her notes to the technician. The technician arrived on time. He was excellent. He installed the computer and performed the transfer data without any issues. After he left, we realized the printer was installed but not the scanner--which is part and parcel of the same machine. That is to say that the printer and scanner are encapsulated in the same machine. I called hello tech the same day and was told that I would be charged to have someone come out to install the scanner. I informed her that I was told that we had a 30 day warranty on the service and emphasized to her that the printer and scanner where one machined. She stated that she would still have to charge me for another visit. So, okay--I called a tech and paid an additional fee of 60 dollars to have the scanner installed. I am done with Hello Tech. I was in the habit of telling friends and family members to use Hello Tech for computer, TV mounting, etc. services. Not any more. I wasn't going to complain because I was told nothing could be done, however Hello Tech wouldn't have knowledge of this incident if I didn't complain. In my opinion, it was false advertising to tell me that the work was guaranteed for thirty days. That warranty didn't last 24 hours!!!

      HelloTech is running ads on Bing and Google stating they have an A+ Rating. Their own website (https://www.hellotech.com/geek-squad-isnt-best) claims they have an A+ Rating yet the image doesn't point to the BBB Profile Page. This is false advertising and goes against the BBB Accredited Business Policy.       Scheduled appointment, talked with tech, sent him pictures of installation site, and then no one showed up for installation of stick up security cam with solar panel. They decided among themselves (corporate and technician they couldn't do install but never notified me. I waited an hour and a half before finally getting ahold of tech - then waited on phone on hold for another twenty minutes to talk to thrm got an explanation on why they didn't contact me. They had no answer to thst question, obviously. Big disappointment. Not planning on ever using Hello Tech again.

      We apologize for the experience you had with HelloTech. After reviewing your account, we see you called customer support about your ring camera installation on 05/25/22 at 07:22 am to let us know the technician might need a step ladder for the service.

      After that, the technician reached out to confirm the appointment day and time and what needed to be installed. Again, you talked about the need for a step ladder. The technician then discussed with you that the battery for the camera would need to be charged before the service and that the manufacturer recommends a max height of 5ft - 7ft for installations. Also, the technician let you know that we have a max height of 12 ft for installations as a safety precaution.

      The second call you placed on 05/26/22 at 12:48 pm was to edit the order adding a solar panel installation to the service. On this call, you informed us the technician might need a taller ladder because you weren't sure if they would be able to complete the installation from the porch or the ground.

      You and the technician spoke a second time regarding the solar panel add-on. After sending pictures to the technician of the work site, he informed you that he would not be able to complete the job due to safety issues because the installation height was higher than 12ft. The technician then called customer service to inform us of the situation and what was discussed.

      While the technician told you that the job was out of scope due to safety, customer support should also have called you. We apologize customer support did not reach out and have addressed this on our end to ensure it does not occur again. We understand this was unacceptable and will always strive to improve processes and our customer service.

      I am a xfinity internet customer and recently purchased xfinity cameras. I called to see if xfinity could assist me in installing them. They stated over the phone that xfinity has partnered with Hellotech, and to call them. I did, and Hellotech came out and installed the cameras. Currently, I am filling a dispute with them due to very poor service. They left exposed "hot" wires in the reach of children, left a hole in my wall which had water come in, and the work looked very unprofessional. Now, they will not come and fix the issues that I have stated above. I should have never called them.

      Just had a Nest-Hello Doorbell installed at my home and had an amazing experience. The Tech showed up at the schedule time, was polite and installed my device in about 45 min and then helped me with the Nest app on my phone and taught me how to use it. All in all, the service was great.
