      Im an older African American veteran , Im afraid to even speak up due to the yelling and disrespect from one of the younger office workers. I had to repair most of the light covers and etc when moved in . Threatened that the property manager will handle me when I asked a follow up question. I pay over $2000 a month and afraid to speak on fear to be thrown out. Any personal paperwork they leave open in front of your door so others can read it. I regret moving here. Total civil rights violation

      I AM BESIDE MYSELF WITH FRUSTRATION AND FEAR!!I have lived in one of Morgan Properties communities for about 7 years. In that time I have paid my rent late twice. Once because their app had a glitch and 1 because of error at my bank. I used to pay it early but they stopped posting the total ******** the past years I have had quite a few situations. From infesting my apartment to almost killing me.Most of all I have been telling them since 2019 that my lease was incorrect/incomplete. In 2019 the ************************ changed the tenants laws. They made it illegal to rollover leases. Morgan Properties took that incomplete and incorrect lease from 2019 and rolled it in 2020. To this day that is the last lease I have on file. I have been notifying them ever since. NOW THEY ARE EVICTING ME FOR NOT SIGNING A LEASE!! And if I am not mistaken, they intend on making up for all of that lost ******* increasing my rent by several hundred dollars. This is not my fault! I have copies of everything!! I have done everything I could do. How many times can they say sign your lease? And how many times can I say that it's not there!! I have dozens of time and date stamped screenshots from the Resident Portal showing the notice that says that there is nothing for me to sign. I cannot afford to move right now. If I could have I would have. My father has been very ill and my husband is dying. I don't even have a car to sleep in. I couldn't get an attorney because most of the paperwork they gave me was fake. It had incorrect addresses. Never went in front of a judge. *** etc. Even when they did serve me with what looked like legal court papers, they never filed them. So I had to go without an attorney and I got abused to the point of running out of the building having a full blown panic attack. WHY DOES MORGAN PROPERTIES WANT TO THROW OUT A QUIET GOOD PAYING TENANT? THIS IS ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE. IF NOTHING ELSE GIVE ME TIME! PLEASE HELP!

      I live here for 10 years ************ Morgan Properties. Rent has doubled. I paid over $200,000 in rent since I lived here.Every 2-3 months there are plumbing issues,the kitchen sinks, clogs and overflows with waste water from other apartments, the toilet and bathtub overflow with waste water and don't get resolved In 1-3 days I have to call off work and spend day and night using a bucket to dump the waste water outside so the apartment doesn't flood out. I have lost wages many times over the past 10 years. I have to call out to deal with these issues. This happens 4-5 times a year sometime more for the past 10 years. For the past 10 years the pumps/pipes under the apartment making loud noises like , creaking pipes, gushing water and whining motor noise happen on and off during the day and night. I made many complaints and they were never been resolved. But they put resolve on maintenance requests. I ended my lease early I handed a letter to vacate and my keys the guy at leasing office told me I'll here from there legal office. All they care about is money and ripping off the tenants. I hope Morgan Properties give me back my security deposited and compensate me for issues I had with apartment. I paid you over $200,000 in rent and you guys threaten to sue me. This Morgan Properties such a disgrace. The Morgan Family that run this company just care off profits while s******* over tenants.

      I moved into this property over a year and a half ago. Since that time, I have contacted maintenance for countless issues such as bugs, water leaks, water stoppages, standing water, and recently my kitchen light cover fell off the ceiling and broke into multiple pieces across the floor with standing water from an unidentified place. For this most recent issue I called the emergency maintenance line last night and he told me he would come in the morning. It is now 1:38p and Ive called the office 4 times and no one has come to address this safety issue. I have been nothing but disappointed since Ive moved here. I could write for much longer but this company is a slumlord. They are dishonest and have no integrity. They frequently falsely file tickets and **** tickets complete when they have not done the work.

      Can I have a credit or refund for these multiple inconveniences for the appliances not working for a week and a half? I paid $2,305.00 in total to move here. This is day 11 of living here, and I have yet to have clean dishes. Now the load of clothes that have been soaking in water all day while I was at work, and will also sit wet all night while I sleep, will likely mildew. I have put in multiple requests to have these appliances remedied, only to have generic emails telling me everything was fixed. If I cannot get credit or a refund of some type, I would like to be able to leave this apartment complex without paying the buy out fee.

      I have been living in ***** *** Apartments in ********, MD for 3 years. Have never paid my rent late and my apartment had flooding in my second bedroom, bathroom and kitchen for 30 days. I had to keep reaching out to ******** at the from repeatedly, to get updates on what is going on in my apartment, and she did not resolve anything until my daughter came to the office with me. I am 61 years old and was living in an apartment that had developed mold and water bugs from the damages. They came and tore my walls up, and ran my electric bill up to $250 when it is normally $40. The front office said they would cover the bill with proof, but I still received no compensation. After a month of contacting the front office, they finally offered me to move to a different apartment. I moved to another apartment which was fine. They offered for me to get a credit for my rent since I paid until the end of the month, and am moving into a new apartment with a new lease before the month is over. What is NOT FINE, is the property manager ******** ended up charging me $800 for carpet stains in my old apartment instead and refuses to remove it! I reached out to the corporate office with no returned called for a week. To pay $2,000 in rent and to be treated this way is UNACCEPTABLE! ******** told me to contact my rental insurance and my insurance said the damages are on ***** ***, NOT me and told me not to open a claim. This is unacceptable when I was living in a apartment with MOLD for 30 days and I would appreciate speaking with anyone above the front office about this matter.

      I was given a deceptive view and I have documents showing the date I completed an application and paid a deposit. I did not get a welcome package until 2 weeks later. I was refused return of my deposit after I was unable to agree with the terms.

      Complained about lights burned out in all parking lots ********** Apts months ago. Still dark. Complained about mattresses left leaned on ********************* in ***** where previous tenants left there c*** & too lazy to put in dumpster. 3 weeks later, it's still there. Several untagged vehicles said in letter they will rove back in July. It's September abandoned cars still there. Horrible management!

      They entered my apartment days before my lease was up and threw out my stuff. I hadnt left the keys for them or completed their leaving process. Awful maintenance. Our floor was installed wrong prior to moving in. Our towel holder broke 2 weeks into living there and was never fixed properly for two years. There were cracks in our ceilings that they painted over. They painted our windows shut. Complaints never got resolved. Sometimes admins never actually put in your maintenance requests so they never show up. They painted over wholes they put in our apartment without actually filling the wholes properly. Overall terrible place to live. There were cockroaches and other bugs getting in through large cracks in the foundation. The bugs even got in as I was moving and there was no more food or clothing or anything to draw them in. Did not properly handle safety situations. A man broke into several apartments and installed illegal cameras. The business did nothing to enhance safety after this event occurred, but managed to lock me out before my lease even ended
