      I paid them about a year ago, two days after my birthday, and now they are trying to ask for more than they wanted, even asking more than what their interest rate could possibly ask for by a few thousand. They are completely dishonest, and they are a scam trying to take advantage of people who don't know better and who are scared. They even sent a letter of proof or something like that and ended up writing the date I signed for them was a day before I actually ever called them. On top of all of this, they never actually finished their job and ended up not even dealing with the person responsible.

      Our records indicate that you retained our services on 07/29/2023, at which time you made a down payment of $500 and agreed to finance the remaining balance over a 15-month payment plan. Both the signed agreement and the recorded voice authorization confirm your acknowledgment and acceptance of the terms, including the payment schedule and interest rate.

      We provided the agreed-upon services within the promised timeframe, and there were no complaints or issues raised regarding the service for over a year following its completion. The claim that the work was unfinished or did not address the responsible party is inconsistent with our documented records, which outline the steps taken and services rendered in your case.

      Regarding your concern about the contract date, the signed agreement serves as the binding document. If you believe there was an error, we would be happy to review this with you directly to clarify.

      The recent communication from our team relates solely to your payment plan, which has been in default due to missed payments. As per the agreed terms, we have attempted multiple times to reach you to resolve this matter amicably. When those efforts were unsuccessful, your account was forwarded to our internal collections department.
      We understand that financial situations can be stressful, and we are willing to work with you to address any outstanding concerns or resolve the payment plan balance. However, we must emphasize that this appears to be a dispute over payment obligations, not the quality or delivery of our services.

      So what happened was I was getting blackmailed by a blackmailer threading to release a video of me and I sent money but the suspect kept asking for more so I went on google to look up how to deal with a blackmailer/scammer and I came across ******************************** and at first I was iffy about trusting them then I did I paid for there services to help me and I have to pay monthly for it and a bit later after purchasing I get an email to leave a review for them and reading some of the reviews it said they were a scam they just take advantage of you cause your stressed and worried and now I don’t know if i can trust them and one of the reviews said that they are in deep with the better buisness beruea and im just seeking help to see if im getting scammed out of my money

      Earlier this year around April 2024 I contacted digital forensics company under stress from the situation I was in, and they pressured me with priority on my case to spend more, and a little while later they completely stopped contacting me and only for me to find out that their services did not do as advertised to me. They contacted me again in November 2024 only to send me an email with inaccurate information and none of the links to view documents that were said to be in the email or in a separate email I never got. Ever since I first contacted them they used all kinds of tactics to get as much out of me as possible.

      1. On April 29, 2024, you purchased expedited services, which were completed on May 1, 2024. You opted for a financing plan due to financial constraints, and we extended this option to accommodate your situation.  
      2. At the time of purchase, you signed a contract and provided a recorded voice authorization confirming you were of sound mind, not under duress, and agreed to the terms, including the payment plan.  
      3. Your first payment was missed, but we worked with you to arrange an alternative schedule, and your initial payment was processed on July 1, 2024. A second payment was made on August 2, 2024, after which subsequent payments were missed.  
      4. We attempted to contact you via phone, text, and email a total of 11 times to discuss your account and provide assistance but received no response.  

      Regarding your concerns:  

      - Pressure to Spend: We strive to clearly communicate the value and urgency of our services, especially in time-sensitive cases like yours. However, we apologize if you felt undue pressure during this process.  

      - Work Product Delivery: Our records confirm that the work product was sent to your email. For your convenience, we’ve attached the original service contract and a screenshot showing the email delivery of the work product.  

      - Contact Attempts: We have made several efforts to reach you to address these concerns but have not received a response.

      This happened in August 2024. They charged me $1,500 for their services. We agreed on a specific payment plan. I'm still getting emails from the extortionist and I've paid three months of the payment plan. One of their employees is secretly emailing me wanting payment via Razer Gold gift card and it just sounds fishy. It's not a legit financial transaction. I no longer want to pay this company.

      This company is a scam and takes advantage of people while they are scared. I was being extorted and fell into the trap of paying these people to help me. I agreed to a contract because I was desperate. Every time I called for an update or to give new info I couldn't get one. I was always told they will call me back never got one. Got an email saying phase 1 was done hurry up and call to discuss. Tried calling twice got told both times the person wasn't available but they'll call me back. Never got a call back. I would not pay them to go to phase 2 anyways because it's all a scam.

      I was blackmailed and contact them online. After being told I was in serious trouble I signed up for their 3 day service. They ask me to make a review asap and at the time they contacted me all the time. As soon as I gave my down payment the contact stopped. I asked for a refund 48 hours after and they are still working on it. They are trying to fear me into paying for the full report. Almost worse than the actual blackmailers.

      On 09/17/2024, we reached out to proceed with the next steps, but you informed us that you were unable to continue due to a hurricane and loss of internet service. Following this, on 10/04/2024, during another communication, you mentioned that you had misplaced your card, which delayed your ability to make the required payment.
      On 10/09/2024, we received a chargeback request. At that point, the funds were no longer in our possession, and our records indicate that multiple attempts were made to assist you with the process prior to this.
      We strive to provide the best service possible, and we regret that this situation did not meet your expectations. However, based on our records, we believe the situation has been accurately handled and respectfully disagree with your description of the events.

      This company coerced me and pressured me into agreeing to services I did not need. They tried to scare me and took advantage of me when I was vulnerable. I even told them over the phone I wasn’t comfortable with agreeing to the services and that I didn’t understand what I was agreeing to. I told them to cancel all services and not continue work. They provided no proof of work done and now they are threatening collections and legal action.

      Given this documented authorization, we find it difficult to reconcile your current claim that you were coerced or pressured into agreeing to the services. We also believe the issue at hand may be related to challenges with meeting the agreed-upon payment terms, rather than any fault in the way our services were offered or explained.
      Furthermore, you provided a screenshot showing our company's attempt to reach out to you on September 9th, one day after your request to cancel the service. Our records confirm this, and unfortunately, you did not respond to that outreach or to several other attempts we made to discuss your complaint and address your concerns.

      I asked the company to provide exact outlines of the work completed. They have not provided me with any. They promised a 30 day investigation which I canceled on sept 9. They already have my 300$ deposit, and no work has been done. They are demanding payment for services they didn’t provide. Furthermore I was called by a case manager who wanted me to upgrade my package, and when I declined I was called by ******* ******** who demanded voice authorization to continue with the program. I told him I did not understand what I was consenting too. 


      They are not responding to my emails. They have not provided me with any contract or voice authorization. The company’s BBB rating is indicative of their predatory practices, as confirmed by dozens of reviews.

      I sought help from Digital Forensics Corp due to an incident I had online where I was being blackmailed. This company not only failed to provide me with updates or information but also didn’t send me a receipt or a copy of the contract. I have contacted them since day one, and no update about the case has been given. I called a day later, on the 27th of September, to cancel the whole deal, and they wouldn’t give me a clear answer. They said they would call back on Monday, the 30th of September, but still no answer, call back, or update. I am entitled to a refund as their website clearly states: “Once payment has been submitted and the Company has been engaged through a signed authorization agreement to perform services, any refunds or cancellation requests will be handled in the following fashion: Up to 75% refund: If cancellation request is made within one (1) day after the contract is signed. Up to 50% refund: If the cancellation request is made within two (2) days after the contract is signed. Up to 25% refund: If the cancellation request is made within three (3) days after the contract is signed.” **********************************************  I am looking for a solution because this company’s customer service won’t help or provide one. Again, I contacted them on the 27th, 28th, and 30th of September for a solution, and still nothing. Down payment was made on September 26, 2024 for $450 With the grand total to be paid in installments to be $2,957.08

      I reached out to Digital Forensics Corp for help with an online extortion situation. Already under immense stress from the extortioner, I was further pressured by Digital Forensics Corp to purchase their services. They used high-pressure tactics, playing on my fears whenever I hesitated. Feeling overwhelmed, I agreed to their three-day plan on Thursday, February 16, 2024. Over the phone, they assured me of high priority, strong connections with law enforcement, immediate action, and weekend work to resolve the issue. Despite these promises, I received no updates until I followed up myself on Wednesday, February 19, 2024. They finally sent a PDF with limited information about the extortioner, but offered no proof of contacting law enforcement or taking action to remove the harmful content. They then insisted I purchase additional services to continue monitoring the situation, warning that if I didn’t, they would delete everything they had gathered in 48 hours. Their communication became increasingly fear-driven, warning me that not proceeding could lead to severe consequences. Throughout the process, Digital Forensics Corp failed to meet their promised timelines and oversold their services, all while exploiting my vulnerable state. Their tactics were based on instilling fear and making me feel like I had no other choice but to continue paying for services I didn’t need. Without these scare tactics, I would never have agreed to their services. Now, they are continuously harassing me with emails and phone calls, threatening legal action if I don’t make further payments. This ongoing harassment has become unbearable. I’ve already paid for the limited services they provided, which did not meet my expectations or their promises, and I have no intention of paying further.
