Very incompetent. They used a torch on my aluminum rims to get lug nuts lose, and destroyed them by burning holes in them. Was told by service manager ***************** that the rims would be replaced. Weeks go by then I am told by service manager that I gave permission to torch the lug nuts and they are not replacing them. Then the manager tried to tell me my rims were plastic and that's why there were holes burnt in both of my front rims. I may be a woman but I know my dodge ram has aluminum rims not plastic, and not to let them torch the lug nuts. The service manager thinks because I am a woman that I am stupid and know nothing about vehicles. They just don't want to pay the expensive price to replace my rims. Well maybe if they had technicians that knew what they were doing they wouldn't lose money replacing parts they destroyed.

We understand ******************** frustration but this was not a situation we caused. To be clear, we informed the customer, prior to using the torch, that there was no other way to remove the wheels and that it was inevitable that there would be damage to the rims. The lug nuts were spinning on the vehicle and would not come off. Again we called her and told her this. We told her that we would have to burn the lug nuts off and it would damage the rims because we were putting a torch in a 2-inch hole. We got the lug nuts and the wheel off but there is cosmetic damage on the rim from the torch which we informed her would happen. If the vehicle had not come to us in that condition, that would be a different story but we did not cause the condition that necessitated using a torch to remove lug nuts.

I took my truck to Midas Auto Service 5440 ******* ********** **** ***** because the passenger side floor broad was wet I was told by Midas that it was the heater coil and the price was ***** to fix this. When I was told my truck was ready for pickup and the work was completed. Three days later I noticed the floor broad was wet again. I called Midas to inform them of this and they told me to bring it back in. They kept my truck for another week telling me they don't know why the floor broad was still getting wet. I feel like it wasn't the heater coil as they stated but rain water getting in my truck some how. I paid them to solve a problem but the problem is still there after paying ***** dollars to get it fixed.

We appreciate Mr. ***** loyalty as a customer and are happy to take another look if he would like to return to a Midas. When he did return after we initially completed the work we sprayed water onto the car for quite a while but no water got through the seals. It's possible it was never fully dry but again, we welcome Mr. ***** to return so we can address it for him.

I purchased tires through Tirebuyer.com I picked the Midas location at ************************************** as the installation location listed on their website with an appt. set up for 3/29/24 @ 9am. I got an email late night early morning that my tires were delivered 3/28/24 but my appt. was for the next day. Since I had a donut tire on my car I stopped buy to see if they could squeeze me in early 3/28/24. The gentleman was so rude in person, I decided I would just stick to my original appt. because he said "well we don't open until 8 so if they were left outside there not there now" implying if they were left outside someone stole them. I stated well I hope they would not be left outside. I called back the same day around 4pm to see if they were delivered so I could make my 9am appt the next morning and ************ told me they were never delivered. I called Tirebuyer and I was told the installer (Midas) sent them back. I called Midas back again and told him what ********* told me and he proceeded to tell me that the delivery guy did show up and he went in the store to verify the right tires were being delivered and the driver just drove off. I asked him well why didn't you say that the first time I called. His response "Well at the end of the day they are not here". He was so rude and unprofessional so I said I want to speak to a manager and I already knew what the response would be in this situation and of course he said he was the manager. I hung up I had someone else call with other questions to get his name and it was ***** who I am seeing listed on other unpleasant reviews. Midas needs to do something about this "Manager" this behavior and unprofessionalism in a customer facing role is unacceptable. At the end of the day if you do not want to install third party tires delivered to your store then take your name of the list as a installer. Not to mention he hung up on me twice during my interactions and I had to call back a third time. I will never visit this store or a again.

We're very sorry for the miscommunication our shop and Tirebuyer.com had with Ms. ******. Our manager does the best he can to be pleasant and customer service-oriented and if he fell short we apologize to Ms. ******* Ms. ****** previously filed a complaint regarding this experience so we are familiar with the circumstances. it seems between the delivery driver and tirebuyer.com we were thrown under the bus which led to the unfortunate experience for Ms. ******* To clarify, our shop manager, ***** did not refuse delivery, he simply told the driver he needed to verify the order as he did not recognize it. When he went into the office to check the computer for the information and wait on a customer the delivery driver left. The driver communicated to tirebuyer.com that we refused the delivery (which makes no sense under any circumstances) and in turn, communicated that to Ms. ******* Upon review of the recorded calls with ***** and Ms. ******, calls were dropped twice (no hang-ups) and certainly our team can always improve and Ms. ******** frustration is certainly understandable but one may say she ended the call in a less than respectful manner.

This business is a SCAM!!! They charged my son for balancing his tires and tried to tell him there was so much wrong with the car. We took it for a second opinion, and the tires had NOT been balanced and the $1400 worth of repairs they quoted him were not even needed. BEWARE!!!! I would NOT recommend this business to anyone! I'd give 0 stars if possible!!

Went to Midas on ********* in ********** ** to check out why my 2011 *********** keeps overheating. They said they could fix it. Probably a thermostat or Water Pump issue. Midas changed the Water Pump and thermostat and said the car was fixed. Before I got home the car overheated. I called Midas and they said to bring the car back. They replaced some more parts and charged additional money. They called me and said the car was fixed. They also said not to pay attention to the smoke coming off the engine since they spilled coolant on the engine and it would smoke for awhile. I took the car on the expressway. The car started to smoke and I didn't pay attention since the mechanic said it would smoke till the coolant disappeared from the engine. The car began to smoke so much I felt like I was in a cloud. Pulled over, opened the hood and all the coolant was gone. The hose connecting the coolant to the engine had a huge cut in it where all the coolant ran out. I believe the hose was also replaced during all the repairs. I called my husband and he came and attached the hose and added water so we could get the car home. Called Midas again and they said they were sorry and to bring the car back and they would fix it. I had the car towed to Midas to ensure the car would not overheat and cause a head gasket issue. Now they tell me I need a new radiator and they wouldn't charge me because of the inconvenience. I said OK if this would fix the overheating. Yesterday I get a call from Midas and they said the head gasket was blown and it would cost about $3000 to fix. Funny thing is we had the head gasket checked prior to towing back to Midas just to make sure the head gasket wasn't blown because if it was blown it wouldn't be feasible to tow it back to Midas. I was also told all this isn't their fault since the engine was not original to the car. Googled issue and found out it could be a Relay Switch or sensor which wasn't checked. OMG

The manager **** tries to come off like he is cutting you a deal while trying to rip people off. He told me **** was charging him more for the parts for my tune up then they quoted me. I'm not a mechanic so they weren't quoting me a discount. **** told me a tune up and 3 fuel injectors and a gasket was 2800. He then marked it down to 2387. I told him to start on the work and 10 minutes later called back and told him I didn't want to get the work done there after calling around and getting the parts for less than half. **** said they already took it apart in 10 minutes so I told him to put it back together and I will pay the $89.99 for the diagnostic check and a hour labor. When I got up there he wasn't there but put in the computer that it was about $480. I had to call the police and argue with **** and all of a sudden my price went to $294... do not waste your time or money at this place.

Yes, Mr. ****** authorized the work and then called back to decline it after we had already begun. We charged him for the diagnosis he authorized and also for us to reinstall his old plug, coils, and injectors. We're sorry if he feels it's unreasonable for our technicians to be compensated for their time and expertise but we stand by our charges and estimates. We do have a price match guarantee for "apples-to-apples" comparisons.

Stopped in for a basic repair. Quoted me a price without disclosing anything to me, no parts list or time estimate. The tech maybe spent a half hour combined work actually under the hood out of those 2 hours. I can understand parts prices but to remove and replace thermostat gasket, sensor, and fluid was over $360 for just labor. Thats $360 for 30 minutes of actual work. DO NOT GO TO MIDAS FOR AUTO HELP.

First of I would like to start off with how VERY unprofessional Corporate is about responding to their VALUED customers. I had a very unprofessional experience with Midas store **** I brought my vehicle to get serviced on 06/24/23 and I worked with ************************* who is no longer with the company. I had to get an oil pan gasket replaced , oil change, and O2 sensor replaced in total was about **** total. I went to *********** for an family matter and the car was parked since the date of service til August 12 when we returned back home and as I return I noticed that the car was not preforming properly. So I took the vehicle back to Midas **** to get it looked at and the new manager informed me that the previous work has caused more damage to the vehicle and was told by the manager that he would discount the work by $600 dollars which will bring the total to $6000 to fix the vehicle. I notified the manager and told him that I am not paying for anything as this car was not fixed more than 3 months.. The manager stated that the parts had a 3 month warranty and I was not aware of any warranty. So I have reached out to Corporate to try and resolve this matter respectfully. So I Spoke to ******************* regarding this issue and he assured me that he would handle this issue and to allow him some time to research the concern. I waited a week and half and I never heard from *******************. I called again with my lawyer present this time to speak again with *******************, he never returned my phone calls and when I wanted an update he stated that he cant do anything regarding this issue and he was very rude and unprofessional he took no ownership into handling this situation, all he did was yell and state that he was in the hospital and that's why he did not respond was very unprofessional. I will be suing and taking Midas to court. I will not pay for someone else's work that wasnt done correctly

I had Midas on ***************** in ***** ** fix my ac system and install a blower motor. What happened was I went back several times for the same issue. The first was that the blower was not blowing air. I had a different midas check it out and they said they will not touch it because its a liability. They found wires not connected, broken duct work and the motor being held with one s**** The second time it was blowing air only where the duct work was not connected. The third time they said it was fixed and ready to pick up it was blowing and The manager mentioned he supervised it and that its fixed. Now a few months later the blower motor is shaking so bad, screws are falling down and chunks of plastic are flying around. Luckily the fan can be shut off and that this happened in my driveway. I could not imagine what would happen it this broke apart while driving. I would not trust this company, even the other Midas said the work they did was unacceptable and a liability. I need answers why this happened and people to be held accountable for the thousand of dollars spent on some back door mechanic work.
