      So I'm in crutches and I have a few items while checking out. They refused to give me a bag to carry the items I purchased and the cashier just looked at me like to move along and piss off. Refunded the purchase. Was my first day out post surgery.

      I placed an online order for a liquid cooled pump/reservoir combo. I drove 3 hours through a snow storm to get there only to find out they canceled my order due to insufficient inventory. The website said they had one in stock when I placed my order. Completely wasted my time and day.

      As excited as I am about this new build, I didnt expect a part to be defective & cause me problems. I purchased an ASUS Rog Strix 3090 white ed. from Micro Center on Nov. 14, 2021; however, due to the pandemic, I couldn't get my hands on all the parts for the rig before it was sold out. I bought the warranty to protect against having purchased a bad GPU & finding out later. But it didnt protect me against that. I was not notified that coil whining, frame stutters &drops are not covered under the warranty; the only way I can use the warranty is if the GPU is broken & is bad during the benchmark tests. Everyone knows that frame stuttering & frame drops are the first signs of a bad GPU but that doesn't matter to Micro Center. When I first installed it on the PC with new parts, there was coil whining (very low) and I dealt with it. But as I used my PC daily, it's been getting louder with frame stuttering & frame drops. I bought the GPU back into Micro center but they said they can't do anything because they could not reproduce the fragmentation. They did benchmark tests on it & heard the loud coil whining. Because of how loud it gets it has been a problem, especially with my mother's hearing aid, my dog, & having a new baby in the house. I then spoke with the supervisor & service manager who agreed it is a concern. The district manager said they have to follow policy. I've read online that a lot of people have had the same issues as me & the employees of micro center said that someone else has had this problem with two of the same make & model GPUs but they returned it in time unlike me. After I got home, I reached out to customer service of Micro center & sent them videos of the frame drops & frame stutters while in-game. They just keep telling me that they need to run tests. I feel like they are just using the excuse of running tests to keep stalling the warranty so I cant use the warranty. I now have a GPU I cant use & I spent money on a warranty I also cant use.

      I have moved my schedule around and made availability for a remote benchmark test. This remote test being offered was scheduled for today 1/29/2023 at 3pm. This is all confirmed with the customer service agent a week beforehand. I waited an hour and no one called me. I sent an email and there is no response. There goes my day. I am very upset about this matter; it has been a month and a bit more since this GPU issue and I have not been able to utilize anything. This process has been unenjoyable, taxing, and stressful for me. It feels like micro center is just trying to stall till my warranty expires. It has been such an inconvenience and poor customer service. I want a complete refund for this purchase and you can take this piece of junk back!

      No integrity. They tricked my 76-year-old mother-in-law into buying a new computer, subscribing to Microsoft365, and then paying for all of the labor to install and set up. She brought in her (not very old) laptop to inquire about a broken hinge and was told she should just buy a new one, then after she explained that she uses Open Office for free, the salesperson told her she needed to subscribe to Microsoft365 to use it going forward. By the way, she had her current computer with her at the time of purchase, which did not have any Microsoft software installed and she obviously didn't have an existing account since they crfeated it for her. M365 moved to the subscription model in 2013, not to mention that if you buy M365 from Microsoft it comes with a 30-day trial, but they sold it and charged for the install outright. When I made them aware of these issues within the time allotted for returns, the manager, ***** ******, was not sympathetic, apologetic, or helpful, even complaining to me about some dust on the computer she was returning. It got to the point where my mother-in-law got very upset and told him she would wipe off the dust right there in the store so he didn't have to. It was humiliating. In the end, ***** refused to allow refunds for any labor, including on the installation of the M365 subscription she was duped into buying and was returning. So in the end, she walked away with nothing in exchange for her time, anguish, pride, and money they refused to refund. The deception, rudeness, and lack of accountability are egregious and appalling. I cannot believe a business would take advantage of and treat senior citizens who are not tech-savvy so poorly.

      Do not buy things here. You cant return them. The 15 day returns are a joke. Nobody has that kind of time commitment. Two mothns ago they suckered me into buying a premium grade display $149 over online price that is not compatible with macbook laptop. Went in to the store with packaged product and receipt, asked for store ****** and they would not honor the return. Stared looking at networking products, all on average 15% over retail market average. Honestly some brick and mortar dinosaurs like this dont deserve to be supported. Amazon to the rescue. I will line Besos pockets in exchange for decent customer service.

      They will gladly sell you a bunch of s*** that will break with in a year. I've purchased two pcs from them. The first started to fall apart after the first year the 2nd is still under warranty and has hardware problems but they are so under staffed it takes 2+ weeks to get simple repairs. Better off not buying anything from them seeing geek squad is repairing it same day

      Workers were quite helpful but company sold us, unknowingly, a faulty motherboard and faulty RAM among other good components to build our own computer. When the completed project indicated error, we took it back to Micro Center for diagnosis. Although the items were installed correctly, per intake, a technician determined the two faulty pieces and would charge $130 to rebuild the work. This all occurred within a week of purchase, the trouble being the faulty items sold to us. A call to the general manager, (the only way to contact the store manager or any employee is via the national center) yielded no customer help. At the store, the manager would not change the general manager's negative response so we retrieved our graphics card and bought the hard drive because we had transferred data to it, and retrieved our money for the rest, leaving a completed computer with its faulty components minus the two above mentioned. Bad marketing, bad customer service; the company would rather lose business and a customer than make their error right. I'd beware of a company that sells faulty parts and wants money to rectify the trouble it caused to the consumer by simply installing working components.

The way it works is If Micro Center does the build, this would have been covered at no charge; however, since you did the build, there is a fee. The store explained to you what the issue was after running diagnostics and suggested you replace the parts, and see if that corrected the issue. They explained If you chose to have Micro Center do the work, a fee would be charged for the service. For customer sat, the store waived the diagnostic fee and did not charge a tear down fee for taking the unit apart so the components (per your request) could be returned. We apologize if there was any confusion about the service.

      I recently purchased a Mac Pro and used the no interest financing via ***** Fargo offered my Micro Center. Turned out to be that I cannot set up my account online so I can have instant access. Called ***** Fargo and they said that I have to go to a local branch in order to finalize the process so I can have online access. For me, there are no branches in more than 100 miles radius so I have to rely on regular mail bills. **! And BTW, the sales sales tax in **************************** is 8%. I have been a long Micro Center customer and I will never shop there again unless I have absolutely no choice.

      I bought a desktop computer from this store - the computer broke down after a few months. I brought it back to the store - they told me that there was no warrantee and made me pay for diagnostics and repair. After a couple of months, the computer broke down again with the same symptoms. I had to bring it back to the store again - they told me to pay for the diagnostics again.The manager was rude and disrespectful.Bad merchandise, horrible service. Stay out of this store!

      Hello *******,Thank you for your feedback regarding your experience at the ************* Initially, you took the unit in for repair in January and paid for a diagnostic test to determine the failure of the unit. They found the ram needed to be reseated and did not charge you for the repair. Since it has been more than 8 months, and we warranty all repairs for 90 days, it is necessary for the techs to reevaluate the computer. That is why another diagnostic charge would be required to determine what is currently wrong with the unit. We apologize for any confusion.
