      Took my car for brake service because my brake light came on. It happened on Memorial Day and thy we're open. Service pads, rotors, and ball joints. Originally, they said it was calipers. couldn't get ball joints so had to wait till next day. After driving less t ten miles sounded like a flat tire/. Got out and checked but they we're fine. Tried to drive and the car wouldn't go. Had to tow it back and tow driver said the caliper was in my rim and missing a screw. They had the car a little after 3P but didn't have time to look at it till after 5P. Never bother to call or any thing. Asked to talk to manager who wouldn't be there till next day. Mechanic said oh. sometimes the screws are bent or don.t have much thread and they come out. This could have caused me to be in a serious accident. Next day strange sound when I drove and mechanic looked and said only on screw was holding the wheel on and it was about to fall off!!! Went to tire choice since it was after one and he hadn't called me, I told him and show pictures of the negligent work and I want credit on my bill. Said he couldn't do that corporate had to. They said need another mechanic to say how much to fix the problem and they weren't going to reimburse me and she was done talking about it. Mechanic that checked my car today said they put the wrong bolt in caliber. There negligence put my life and others in danger twice. No sorry or payment for tow. need to shut that business down.

      5/20/22 Went to this shop because I was feeling rumbling after braking when going over 40 miles per hour. I was told that I had a crack rotor and it had to be replaced immediately. They let me leave believing that the problem was fixed, charging me $345.81 Two days later, I went back to them with the same issue. They schedule another appointment. 5/26/55 After they test-drove my car, took it into the service area and removed the tires again. He than came to me and said "you need the front rotors replace. I was shocked, after thinking that they replaced the front rotors already, they informed me that they did the back and sanded down the front rotors. I was never told that he was replacing the back brakes and rotors to my surprise, after I took it back. Whereas I specifically told them that the rumbling was coming from the front drivers side, I want to know, why did they do work on the back and now wanting me to pay another $400.

      5/24/22 - Called for an estimate for replacing the muffler and exhaust on a 2012 **** ******. Was told probably $600 for parts and labor; would take 1 & 1/2 hours to fix. Weren't busy, bring it right in. I brought it over at around 9:00ish. At nearly 11:00, got a call that they "way" underestimated - it would take most of the day and now the cost was nearly $1,800. When I pressed as to why, I got some ** about needing more parts, having to cut off the current muffler/exhaust and welding pieces to install the new. Talked to my husband and he said if they had to by pass the catalytic converter, it was probably very labor intensive, so I gave the go ahead. At about 2 pm, my husband came home with this story...he stopped in at the location to see what was going on...was told that the tech had been working on the car for over 4 hours. However, my husband is a truck driver and passed by the shop several times during the day and saw my car in the parking lot at 11:00, at 12:00, and again near 1:00. When he told the rep that, the tune changed. After back & forth, my husband got the cost down to $1,100, but I believe this is still overcharging. When I looked at the invoice, I see the "cost" of just the muffler itself was $599 - how would they have done the job for $600? These people are crooks and liars. They should be ashamed to take advantage of decent hardworking people like this. In addition, the tech tried to tell my husband that other things were wrong with the car that was also absolute **. I will never go there again and will make it my mission to discourage anyone asking not to go there either. ZERO STARS!!

      Told my girlfriend that replacing 2 of the 4 tires on an AWD vehicle wouldn’t cause issues. False. We can not move out vehicle now due to their blatant ignorance.

      I brought my vehicle in for inspection 5/1/22. It would not pass due to the check engine light on. They ran a diagnostics test (supposedly for $99.95) I waited a few hours and called them to see what was going on and they said they would call me in 10 to 15 minutes with an estimate. They called back in 15 minutes stating there was several things wrong. One being air/fuel sensor, cansiter- leak detection pump as well as exhaust part. They first quoted me at $1818.15 and then once the service was done they charged me $1873.65. I then had got a 10 day inspection put on and was told to drive it for 50 to 100 miles before I could bring it back for inspection. I drove it under 50 miles and the check engine light came back on. Next day I went back to Monro to let them know my light was on. They then put a machine on it and said another light is popping on and the gentleman reset the car and told me to drive to Apalachin and back (20 miles) and it came back on again. So I went right back to Monro and then they put the car up on the lift to check it over and then told me it was the ******** converter was not good. Well he shut the light back off and said to drive it again and see what happens. It ended up the light stayed off for 4 days. I took it back to Monro and they passed the inspection and then within 3 hours the light came back on! I am beyond frustrated with this company. I would appreciate a reimbursement and take my vehicle to a competent company. I am retired and have used all the money I can spend. This is my only means of transportation.
