Aside from being overpriced, the quality of workmanship was awful. One gutter was installed with a twist at the end which was pulling away from my house. It only took 1 call to have a crew fix it. After another winter of excessive ice cicles, i called to get help rom *****. He continued to blame my house for heat loss as the problem as well as my failure to read section 4 explaining ice cicles. Something that the salesman should have mentioned. The issue was that ice was hanging off of the end of the gutter and water constantly dripping in the downspout. The icejam forced some of my fascia to pop off. ***** refused to reattach the fascia as techs dont carry nails nor hammers. He did send out a crew to look at the gutter. They found a hump in the middle of the section forcing water to overflow back from the end. As part of having a new roof installed, this contractor actually showed me pictures of the gutters had been installed with 3 layers of aluminum dripedge and huge openings allowing bees, birds orjust about anything to get in. After sending the evidence to *****, he blamed previous techs and supervisors for this mess. He took no ownership of the problem as Id have to leave messages for a week before hed call me.He refused to refund my money, or even a portion of, as he pushed the problem to ************** who offered financing. Eventually, he offered to fix the gutter but not my soffit and popped off fascia. I declined his offer, but called back in about an hour to say that I would accept his offer and as of today still havent received a call. Just like the entire problem.***** doing business with company at any expense!! Looking at the most recent reviews, i can see how poorly this company is operating. Im miffed that with all of the negative reviews, their BBB rating isnt poor. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere. Im screwed for over $3,000, which is what I still owe, as Leaf Guard failed to do the right thing.

Bad install experience that turned into **, install manager and install team coming out to **** the entire job. They took a piece of my rotten fascia board they were supposed to remove the first time back to teach a class on bad boards. Additionally they never removed the original fascia covers that were up. Recently I received a letter in the mail I had to sign for stating that I was past thirty days for the remainder of my bill. That was not correct since it took two weeks to get them to get back out and do the job right and another week to get the FINAL pieces of my job delivered, so I was still two weeks away from being anywhere near past due. The letter threatened lawsuit if I didn't pay and had incorrect dollar amounts. I never received updated line item invoice that I requested or copy of the recorded sales meeting. Getting lied to by the install crew as to what was done day of and extreme lack of communication by the management team was a slap in the face and nothing was ever done to rectify the issues that were going. My roof had to be inspected where installers said I had decking issues and turns out that the only issue I had was they installed their material incorrectly and damaged my decking and shingles. Having to pay for these issues and repairs was worth nothing to them and reflected in their invoice as such. As a disabled veteran on limited income the extra expenses I had accumulated were an inconvenience at the bare minimum let alone taxing on me and my budget.

Our experience with ***** and **** our Lifeguard installers was excellent. They showed up to our house on time and went over the entire installation process with my husband prior to starting the installation. They answered all of his questions and brought all of the material needed to complete the job in one day. ***** and **** were true professionals. They worked from 8AM to 5PM without interruptions, no breaks, no phone calls and no down time for lunch. The clean up job that they did before they left was impressive, all of the old material was cleaned up and they took it with them. My husband and I walked around our house and reviewed the job with ***** before they left to be sure we were satisfied. My husband also talked with a representative from the company before they left to be sure we were happy with the job. The product is well made and makes our house look like new. We would highly recommend this company and product to others interested in getting new gutters and a system that can make the process of cleaning out gutters less dangerous and labor intensive. Thanks so *********** and ******* ******** CT

Very disappointed in this company. The sales person was very informative and kind and I felt comfortable giving them my business. After the gutters were installed, I came home to a mess!! Whatever was in my gutters was now scattered all along my yard. Then once the snow melted more, I found screws and bits of my plastic gutter all over my lawn as well. My fence was also damaged from their ladders. The salesperson also told me that after the job was complete, they would do a " walk around" with me to see if I was satisfied with the job. I never got that. No one came back for the walk around nor was I even offered one. I reached out to the company and they got back to me several days later. They apologized and said that they spoke to the crew about leaving behind a mess. I then asked if they were going to come back and clean it up only to get the answer that they were pretty busy and will try their best. They never came back! I left another message stating how disappointed I was considering all the great reviews they received. I just had to make my first payment on the loan I had to take out to have them installed and it was a hard payment to make!! I didn't want to make it considering the mess they left and the poor customer service I have received. Very, very disappointed!

I had to replace the gutters on my house. A representative, claiming to be from LeafGuard, was doing door to door sales. I explained the work which needed to be done and showed him the condition of the gutters. At first, he did an estimate and quoted me $12,000. Then he said that because I am a Senior Citizen that he could give a discount and reduce the estimate to $8,900. When I balked at that number, he said that if I gave him $3,000 he would be able to get the work done the same day. There is a problem when an estimate of $12,000 could be reduced to $3,000 for the same work. I was able to hire a local company who did the same work for $1,200.

This is not a Leafguard customer. We did not quote this individual a price.

Laughably terrible job. Paid $13K for Leafguard gutter system including fasciacover, gutters, downspout systems, and potential replacement of facia board. Documented as 2 feet of facia board replaced--none was replaced though all needed to be replaced. Called manager (*****), text messaged manager, no response. Text message salesman (****) who stated install crew and manager would remove guttering so problem on roof due to mangled install could be addressed (This is when we found out all facia board should have been replaced. No one showed up, even a full hour after appointment time. Again tried to contact manager with no success or call/text returned. Guttering was eventually removed, discovered some of which had holes due to misapplied screws. Disgustingly terrible job by install crew, same level of "quality" from manager. I certainly do not recommend this company.

A young man came to give us an estimate and we decided to have Leafguard gutters installed. The representative was very professional and explained a payment plan through **************, however he didn't mention the 18%+ in interest. When we tried to do a balance transfer to a credit card with a lower interest rate, Synchrony said it was no aloud under our contract! We cannot understand why an upstanding company like ********** would mislead a customer AND do business with a bank that is underhanded. We are very disappointed.

We had leafguard out for a quote. The sales person was very well schooled and made sure you knew it was a veterian owned company. salesperson did a walkaround and made notes on how the gutters would be installed. A few days later the crew came out to install the gutters. They did not have what they needed and had to go to ***** for supplys. We are located about 120 miles from their ****** area location. I had to follow the installation crew around and correct them on some of the installation. The sales person the sold us this did not give the installion crew any ation crew ea what was solno one from Leafguard d. The installation crew installed it the way they wanted to. I called their boss and voiced my concernThe second day they were there. He was very appologetic and said he would send us a $300.00 card for the trouble. The job was a joke. I looked like a group of 12/13 year old did it. Needless to say there came by to checkout the job or asked for pictures. The $300.00 card never showed up. The boss said it was sent. I have pictures and names if anyone would like them. I would leave my contact but it blocks me.

My 73 year old wife who was diagnosed with Dementia and has a vision problem, was sold a entire new gutter system along with the gutter guards while I was out of town. My wife was obsessed with leaves in the gutters and downspouts and probably thought she was buying only the gutter guards to prevent leaves from getting in the gutters. The gutters that were on the house were in excellent condition and did not need to be replaced. The salesman who sold her the product, should have realized something was not right with my wife when they explained what they were selling her and she went right ahead and wrote out a check for $77,000. This amount is considerable more than the $7,700 deposit they asked for. I noticed the cancelled check had been cashed for only $7,700 and thought that was the total price until I recently found the paper documents showing the total charges of over $25,000! I then realized the check she wrote was for about a third of the total price. I immediately call the general manager and asked him to review the bill and reduce their final bill because everything that was itemized seemed highly inflated. The bill shows they installed 5 drain tile connections and only 3 were installed. They also charged $148 each for 3 concrete splash blocks that probably cost $20 each at **********. I am irate at the company for overcharging us and can say the salesman probably saw an easy **** and padded the bill to increase his commission. The job took less than a day to remove the old gutters and install the new system. Most people would never pay over $25,000 for gutter on an average size ranch house. They took advantage of an elderly individual with a diminished mental capacity and should be ashamed of themselves and should adjust the bill to about half of what they charged. I spoke to the **** ***** the sales manager and he agreed to reduce the bill only a couple thousand dollars which is told him was not enough for what is reasonable.

Leafguard says that if you purchase their gutter system, you are protected for life, dont believe their sales pitch. I made the mistake of purchasing their overpriced gutters, 4 years ago, and I have suffered for it ever since. Due to the water leaking behind and from the bottom of their gutters, the landscaping bricks next to my foundation, are sinking. Therefore anything setting on the bricks are sinking too, like my propane tank, and front steps. I have contacted them several times. They came out a couple times with a caulking gun, it did not resolve the issue. They blamed it on my roof and said I needed to get a new roof. I did not have this sinking problem before, only when I got their gutters that are supposed to protect your foundation, and all it has done is damage mine. They also said that they are backed by **************** as a sales pitch. They did not answer my letters either. I would highly recommend not to purchase their gutters. I hope this helps someone from making the same mistake I made. That would be the only good thing that would come out of this regrettable purchase.
