1 starThe salesmanship of this company is horrific. I informed the salesman 1hr and 15min into the demo that I had to be somewhere in 20min. After spending 1.5hrs listening to the demo, he asked me if anything aside from the price was keeping me from purchasing the product that day. I told him I would not be agreeing to purchase that day . He spoke some more & then asked the same question. I relayed the same ****** **** told me that the price would be different tomorrow or a week from now so the price wouldn't matter if I wasn't buying that day. I again asked for the price. He got on the phone & called his manager, starting the conversation by saying "we're not meeting on price". He hadn't even given me a price, so how are we not meeting on price? He then got flustered & told his manager he would call back in five minutes. He tried to pull something up on his iPad, but was unsuccessful. I said that's fine, you can just email me the estimate. I verified he had my email. I then asked for a business card or pamphlet, neither of which he had. I asked how I could get in touch with him & then I said "oh, you're emailing me the estimate so I'll have your email." He then left. I called the 800 number the next day after still not receiving an estimate. His manager then called & said they would have to send him out to complete the presentation. No, he completed the 1.5hr presentation. I simply need the estimate. Well, he will have to come out for 20-30min & give you that in person. Email it to me or give it to me over the phone. I do not want anyone back to my house (aside from the fact that the guy drove 1-1.5hrs to get to my house). It was explained to me that as a company, they don't provide estimates via email or phone. It has to be in person. He told me he would check with his superior to see if they could provide it via email or phone this time. 3 days later, I've heard nothing. 1 starThis is a very expensive system that says you don't have to get up on a ladder anymore. This is not true. Also my gutter has an awful leak after spending big money on the system my gutter is worse than when I started. I do not recommend Leaf Guard.Review fromLaura L

1 starThe salesman was ****** nice which should have been a red flag. He pointed out all of these "problems" with my house and gutters, and made them sound a lot worse than they are. I feel taken advantage of and definitely have a major case of buyers remorse. I am paying a huge amount of money for something I don't need. I also feel taken advantage of because they did not give me the three days notice to change my mind and "fit me in" for the installation after less than 48 hours. Should have been another red flag! I am the widow of a recently deceased veteran. I am also elderly and handicapped. The price paid was extraordinarily high compared to the industry standards, including from what I researched. The price was based on 204 running feet of gutter, with parts, and comes out to over $80 a foot - total cost over $16,000! Searches on the web identified gutter costs ranging from $11 to $37 per foot, plus parts. From all information I gleamed from the Internet, this project should have been around $7k at the most. I have a one-story house with easily accessible gutters. Other issues - 1. I was denied the $50 **** because I was given such a great price(sic); 2. I was not given 3 days to review the quote as I would have reviewed this with my friends and relatives who would have advised me against this. 3. I was mostly concerned about the back gutter that I wanted replaced- that was not done because they stated it was not the right material - however no-walk around inspection was completed in advance in which they should have told me that - I would not have agreed to the job if I had known that. When LeafGuard was contacted- their response basically stated 'you signed the contract.' There's no question I was taken advantage of - I am embarrassed by this. But with the loss of my husband this past year, I easily get overwhelmed.LeafGuard Holdings, Inc

There is no indication where you obtained the average price per foot, but those prices most likely refer to lesser products like conventional open gutters or gutter screens. Regarding the estimate promotion, in lieu of the advertised gift card you received an instant rebate (included in the price of the contract). Regarding your right to cancel, LeafGuard complies with the state and federal regulations regarding the customers right to cancel. As a matter of practice, LeafGuard sales representatives measure and take photographs of the home and existing gutter system to review with the homeowner. In this instance, LeafGuards sales representative spent approximately one (1) hour assessing the System and approximately two (2) hours with you reviewing the photographs, explaining his assessment, and presenting LeafGuards proposed solutions. It is LeafGuards understanding that by signing the Contract, you had a complete understanding of the work that was to be completed. LeafGuard stands behind its product and should you experience any issues with the System, LeafGuard would be happy to address them in accordance with the warranties set forth in the contract. Purchased years ago and seem to work satisfactory. Overtime build up of fine debris he as built-up with minor clogging. No good method to get access to clean the clogging. Also lifetime guarantee is useless if company that sale them in your area keep changing every few years no one wants to service them. Only interested in sales.LeafGuard Holdings, Inc

1 starWould never recommend this company. Originally had seamless gutters that worked just fine, but being elderly, thought never having to go up a ladder to clean them seemed a good choice. LeafGuard gutters were improperly installed on 4/11/22. They had a 6" gap below roof edge. Looked horrible and rain never hit the system. After multiple phone calls, finally production manager returned my call. He inspected and had the crew remove the front and back gutters and had them reinstalled on 4/18/22. Thought this was the end, but no! Several days later it rained and the gutters leaked streams of water down the system. The downspout dumped water at the clean out door and the connection to the cheap black extension. Once again, took several days and calls to have someone call us back. Production Manager again came out to attempt to fix. He removed ****************** (clean out door) and the Black plastic pipe extension as a fix. We paid $335.00 extra for the original equipment, which we no longer have. Requested a refund, but still waiting for someone to remedy that. And then it rained and we still experienced leaks running down length of gutters. Production Manager came out again and he caulked up the ends. Again, thought we were finally done with this nightmare, but two days ago we noticed our roof shingles are raised about an inch on the front of our house, on one end, where the gutter flashing goes under the shingle edge. Several phone calls and messages left. General Manager returned call and said he would have Production Manager contact us next day. Never called us. We finally got in contact with him this morning, and was informed the General Manager never gave him the message. Hopefully he will be coming out, but not till next week. Meantime, hopefully we will not have water damage. Personally, I would like these removed. Go back to my previous gutters and hire someone to clean them as needed. Frustrated!!Review fromLou N

Do not buy if you live in Evergreen Tree country! They are what they say "leaf guard", that is all they provide. Pine needles jam up water runoff like you do not have any gutters at all. Leaf Guard needs to pull out of the Northwest. If the company now wants to come out and clean up the pine needles cluttering the water runoff contact me, some gutter are some 30 foot off the ground.LeafGuard Holdings, Inc
