If I could give them negative stars I would. This company will not disclose their limited-service area but are really quick to take lots of your money. Over the course of 3 months, I have called numerous times. Every single time I call there is a different response. They are flat out refusing to deliver our unit. Won't explain why they won't and also refuse to give me back a dime. I am having to have my unit taken to a friend's property. By the time we rent a truck, pay ridiculous gas prices and waste our time, they have cost us so much money, strife and stress. Not to mention I'm disabled so I can't just become a mover. I don't know how in the world they stay in business. These people will absolutely lie to you and offer no recourse whatsoever. Multiple calls, holding for hours. Nothing. Absolutely a vile company!!!! All I asked for was a refund. Was literally told nobody can help me, not even the CEO. Which leads me to believe people are constantly calling with similar issues. Shame on you **** *****s CEO man. Congratulations on stealing from a highly decorated firefighter and his disabled wife. We just had the worst experience with this company. The salesperson on the phone lulls you in with a big discount when you balk at the original $5k quote, taking it down by a thousand or so. Then they give you a time frame and set up dates but promise that those are just place holder dates and that it always gets there early. 10-14 days at most, at a price that seems great given the original quote. Things keep going fine as they drop off your container and pick it back up on time. Then you get charged the full amount, even though you could swear that the salesperson said you'd only pay on final delivery. This is the first troubling sign. After this, it all goes to ****. You can never reach anyone on the phone for an update or any info without dealing with phone-system hell and multiple hour wait times. Then you're told something happened with the truck, and there's been a delay. This is the first time you find out they don't even ship the pods themselves, they hire a 3rd party. The problem is always the same, a broken axle or transmission. 10-14 days becomes 3 weeks, then 4, then more. They are never able to tell you where your pod is or when it will be delivered. You'll get a contact who's supposed to be the agent on your case, but the number they give you will never work. If you're really lucky, you'll get your stuff a month later, double the estimate, and only if you call and complain every single day, waiting 2+ hours on hold each time. They say they'll talk compensation when it gets delivered, but there is no talk. They use that "placeholder" date against you and give you a flat refund for each business day it was late, maybe $500 off a $4000 total when it took twice as long as sold to you or more, you've spent 20+ hours on the phone, and been sleeping on an air mattress for a month not knowing where your entire life is or if you'll ever see it again. Don't get tricked into using Pack Rat. Do anything else.1-800-PACK-RAT, LLC

My storage container was scheduled to be delivered on a Monday and was delivered on Tuesday. Then it was supposed to be picked up on Thursday but was not. Apparently someone changed the pickup date for the following Tuesday but did not communicate that or clear that with me. Customer service could not get in contact with the facility in Louisiana for pickup. But for a cross country move, this has been the worst experience.1-800-PACK-RAT, LLC

Warning: don't use this company, go with **** or someone else. Proper prior planning prevents **** poor performance and zippy shell lacks any sort of integrity or performance. 1. They told us 7 to 10 day delivery, turned into 3 additinal weeks after the 10 days- already made the drive to the new destination. No communication attempts were made to advise of the delay. Not to mention the container did arrive to the new location within those 10 days, but they somehow had no one to deliver it. Freight is competitive, but it ain't that bad. Yes, might be peak season, but you had 1-2 months to plan this route/delivery while taking into consideration the current environment plus forecast yearly trends. 2. They had the audacity to charge my credit card before delivering to my house as promised, scam vibes. They advised the second charge wouldn't occur until DELIVERY but felt entitled to my money before living up to their end of the bargain. 3. I had to pick my household goods up myself from their distribution warehouse. Cost me a pretty penny to arrange frieght and labor- amazing how I could do that within 24 hours but this company couldn't with 2 months of planning. 4. They only refunded me $300 out of $3k ( the monthly container storage fee I shouldn't have paid to begin with and a fuel surcharge) but I'm sure they scam people this way all the time. 5. They say they support military, they don't. I'm a veteran snd my husband is active duty, we went with them because they work with military. Seems more like they use it as a selling point and don't care as long as they get their money before they deliver your goods. I Needed a container it hold garage contents to refinish the floor. The contractor recommended 1-800 Pack Rat and even arranged delivery of the container. When I called to have the unit picked up after the job was finished they missed 3 pick ups. Thankfully I was only 3 days into the rental period. In reading through the reviews and complaints it appears I was lucky. I will not repeat using 1-800 Rat Pack again.1-800-PACK-RAT, LLC

CONSUMERS BEWARE. WATCH YOUR BANKING ACCOUNT. THE PACK RAT CREW WILL FIND AWAY TO GET YOUR MONEY. THEY WILL BLAME OR SAID IT'S YOUR FAULT Shame on this company. Money Hungry, the value of customer service doesn't exist. The reviews about this company should have been a warning. I was charge for another month because they said I did not set up a pick up date. Not true, it was set up the day it was order over the phone. I tried calling 3 days in a row never spoke with a person until the 3rd day which was the day of pick up. I was told that I had no pick up day schedule. That I needed to schedule a day. Did that, Check my account this morning and the RATS they are reach in grab money out. Call this morning and was told by accounting nothing could be done. So I have paid for a empty container for another month that they are willing to pick up asap but refuse to give back my money. Why would I pay for something, have them pick it up to rent out. Double profit for them. Loss of money for me. THIS COMPANY IS EXACTLY WHAT IT'S NAME INDICATES PACK RAT YOUR MONEY AND TIME. 1800PackRat movers damaged a 40-year old vintage piece of furniture that not only holds sentimental value to me but is an investment piece that purchased 12 years ago. I like to generate currency by purchasing good design furniture from legitimate manufacturers as investment pieces. My furniture piece was in good condition prior to the movers damaging it and I have many pictures to prove that. Additionally, I purchased a protection plan from 1800PackRat that would cover up to 10K in damages from the move which is listed on my agreement form and invoice. I filed a claim with them to replace my unit worth $3600 for the same model of the vintage piece of furniture from a legitimate auction house/ market place and 1800PackRat is unreasonably choosing not to honor the depreciation caused by the damages and only choosing to pay for a repair cost of $650. The $650 repair does not include the depreciated value and financial loss to my investment piece. I filed a complaint here with the BBB and 1800PackRat never responsed. I then went to the Attorney General's office to file a complaint and 1800PackRat continues to refuse to pay for the replacement cost which is covered and well under the limit of the protection plan I purchased from them. Any little response that 1800PackRat has provided consists of them talking in circles with no fact-base reasons as to why they do not want to fully pay for my loss and not acknowledging the purchase of the protection plan. I have also filed a complaint against them to the FMCSA and FTC. I am now working on taking the necessary steps to suing them in court. I have a great deal of proof to build my case against them and prove them to be a fraudulent company as they have had many lawsuits against them. I have been dealing with this issue since November of 2021. Please save yourself the agony of dealing with this mediocre moving company and find a legitimate company for your move.1-800-PACK-RAT, LLC

I have tried to pay my account over 15 times. I called and emailed and nobody could find my account. Today I found out my items were sold in auction. You will from my lawyer.
