1 starLowe's service advantage extended warranty is a colossal failure .My Maytag washer quit working on * I filed a claim on 4/15/25 , they scheduled a repair man for 4/21/25 ******** were a no call no show on the 21st. So Lowe's service advantage warranty scheduled a 2nd appointment for 4/23/25 & for a 2nd time repair man was a no call no show I have called multiple times to Lowe's corporate & multiple calls to Lowe's service advantage & can't get a resolution. I've have pleaded for help & remind them I have paid for a contract / extended warranty, & that I need a washer i have talked with magament they even suggested i call the repair *** I told them that's their job my paid for contract is with Lowe's not some repair man! Although I have in fact made calls to their repair man & left messages because they don't answer, but to no avail & no response from repair ***** after the 2nd no call no show from there repair man all Lowe's would do is schedule me for a 3rd. appointment with a repair man on 4/29/25 that ends up being 2 full weeks for the initial warranty claim WITH NO WORKING WASHER. I told Lowe's that's ridiculous that they should have better customer service than that . I even went to the local Lowe's store & asked management for help******** called Lowe's service advantage & get the same results of (I'm sorry for your inconvenience we can schedule a 3rd appointment with a a repair *** If you like). The local Lowe's store manager even asked well how many no calls no shows from a repair Company does the customer have to suffer through b4 you make this right & just replace the none working washer & the warranty department wouldn't give an answer! Meanwhile we have no working washer Maytag at that, & no results from Lowe's! Or even an attempt to stand behind a product & service they sell .. Lowe's corporate has been no help at all, its unacceptable for a company that size to basically do nothing to honor a warranty contract & make this right DISGUSTING.Review fromAlex G

1 starLowes in ******* on ********** is the worst. I have been buying there for over 15 years and service has been declining along with product. Everything I have been buying from them doesnt work but abt 45 days then it breaks and they want return it or discuss the issues with it not can they find your receipts documenting you bought it. I bought a lawn mower because the previous lawnmower I bought from them didnt work. I changed brands and paid more thinking it would be worth it but H*** after 4 uses and storing it away for this ******* use it want say a word. Its a Toro mower that states its guaranteed to start on the label which is a lie. Now I cant get any help from the store or over the phone . I asked for the store mgr and the clerk said she didnt know his name she thinks its *** something then put me on hold and never came ******* so mad at this point I may file bankruptcy and not pay lowes nothing for my ast purchases since they have screwed me on so many purchases , but I want buy anything else there without resolution .Review fromJillian G

1 starI appreciate that the issue is finally being addressed, but I wish I had gone with a different company. I renovated my first home, and the last step before moving in was new floors. They were installed and looked greatat first. But within six weeks, I noticed the planks separating, and I had to call Lowes. They sent someone out and assured me it was 100% fixed. A few months later, the exact same issue returned in the same spot. They needed to order materials, and after weeks of silence and follow-ups, I was finally scheduled, only to be told the morning of the appointment that the contractor was sick and I had to reschedule.Eventually, the contractor came back and again reassured me it was permanently fixed. This time, though, they added a transition piece in a doorway that wasnt there beforesomething I really didnt want, but I accepted it just to get the issue ************* forward a few months, and not only is the same problem back, but it's now spreading across multiple areas. Another appointment was scheduled, and once again, the day before, I received a cancellationthis time due to the contractor having unforeseen issues on another job. Finally, a different contractor came to assess the situation and said everything needed to be redone. That meant moving all my furniture and boarding my petssomething I had purposely tried to avoid by getting floors done before I moved in.Then, on the day of the installation, after rearranging everything and spending extra money, I got a call at 10 a.m. saying it was canceled again b/c the installer was in an accident. I understand emergencies happen, but this was the third last-minute cancellation, and its affected my job, my schedule, and my credibility. In short: the process has been a nightmare. Ive tried to stay patient and flexible, but this level of disorganization and lack of communication is beyond frustrating and unprofessional.Review fromPATTI S

1 starWe purchased a stove from Lowe's on 4/18/25. It was delivered on Saturday 4/19/25. As I tried to cook dinner that evening, it was apparent that the control panel was malfunctioning, I called Lowe's immediately. The person in appliances asked me to call Monday morning 4/21/25. My husband called and talked to the assistant manager ***** who said he would arrange for the stove to be picked up and a new stove to be delivered on 4/22/25. The mal-functioning stove was picked up, but the delivery person did not have a replacement stove to leave. They only had instructions to pick up the original stove. After going through endless recorded messages, I was able to talk to someone at Lowe's. They will issue a credit to my account and I can order another stove. I have to start all over again and then be at home again waiting on a delivery of a stove. I will not purchase any future appliances at Lowe's.Review fromKierrhia K

1 star0/10 highly dont recommend they put me thru a horrible experience and I still need my money back for the unacceptable charges that was already paid for. I was set to get my washer and dryer I picked out at the store paid for and hookups April 2nd then april19th was delivery and the day came they were bringing 2 washers with 2 washer hookups. I called them they stated I never purchased a dryer, they stated they swapped it out for the dryer never got the washer that day. They stated everything will come Monday so when Monday came I didnt get the washer I got the dryer. The young man that hooked it up didnt understand why I didnt have a washer so when he called he asked them about it and they told him he was not supposed to hook up my dryer just drop it off in my apartment. So being the nice man he was he went in and hooked it up because the people that was bringing the washer was not going to hook it up either. This was so frustrating and cost me additional money after moving. Then Tuesday comes they finally delivered my washer and all I got was Im sorry for the inconvenience!!! Wow! Horrible! I will never do this again and this is my first purchase from themReview fromThomas H

1 starPurchased a ***** tool over the weekend. Opened and placed in my tool belt for work on Monday. Tool kept shorting out, purchased another from another business to get through the work week. Took the broken tool back and would not refund the money nor replace with the same tool as I did not keep the receipt. I do not believe most working construction men want excess garbage in their tool belt. 30 bucks now because they sold me a non working tool. I was almost made feel as I did something wrong since I paid cash.Review fromPaul V

1 starIf I could give ********************************* Surfaces of ********* **** their 3rd party fabricator / installer zero stars I would. I ordered 2 countertops & a bathroom vanity on July 17, 2024 the final installation was completed April 11, 2025 - 8 1/2 months later. Not one part of this project went smoothly or timely. Once measurements were done I was contacted to approve change orders (i.e. changes that would increase the price of the job). None of these were necessary in my opinion & finally Lowes did not charge me any more.Installation was a mess, once it was finally scheduled I was contacted & told they wanted to move it up a week. I could not accommodate this request. On the date they wanted to move the job up to they called me to tell me they could not do the job on the original date & still scheduled date as they didn't have the material. A month later the installation was done. They chipped one of the pieces on one of the countertops & the next day the other countertop shifted so the seam was uneven. The bathroom vanity backsplash looked like amateurs had done the work. They came & fixed the countertop that shifted & took out the other one & were to recut one of the pieces. When they finally came back to re-install this top it was not cut correctly as the installers could not get it to fit correctly & they took both pieces back with them. They did bring pieces to redo the ************** kept these. During this visit they also damaged my cabinets. They finally came back again 8 1/2 months after the start of the project & re-installed the top & also fixed the backsplash - but the installers had not even been told about that part of the ******* I'm trying to get a partial refund for all of the ******************************* is not responding. In fact when I called the week after the installation the national *** told me the job wasn't even marked as installed. This same fabricator apparently works for ********** also from what I've been told.
