I am incredibly frustrated with my experience. To pick up the car I had to walk down the actual car garage with no walkway which was incredibly unsafe because oncoming traffic would not be able to see me. The car brakes were clearly not maintained and made crunching noises as I was leaving the facility but I needed to get to my destination so I drove carefully. Upon return there was dirt on the car (natural from driving) and the return agent told me it was damage and that he had to report it. I received my itemized receipt and was charged for gas despite returning as obtained with pictures of proof. I called to have the amount refunded and was told I would receive the refund within a week. 2 weeks later I called back and they still had an open ticket and that I would get a resolution within 72 hours. I still have not received a refund and will never rent through enterprise again. I have been a long term Hertz customer and needed a car on a pinch but clearly this wasnt the right choice.

First red flag was the woman assisting me with check in inquire if I have proof of the discount code I was using which is through my employer. (I did not and never had been asked this before in the past by any other enterprise Ive rented from.) Because I didnt have proof the lady states she will have to remove my discount code and Ill have to pay retail rate. My pricing went from $269 roughly to $380 roughly. I still moved forward with transaction. Checking out and as the woman notice I was leaving my vehicle she stated I cant leave my vehicle there. I was shocked by this as again this is the first time Ive come to this particular enterprise and learned you cannot leave your vehicle there in exchange of using their vehicle. I advised her I would have to come back with my wife as I was there alone. My wife called shortly after inquiring if vehicle could stay as there was other engagements planned and we did not plan ahead for a window to come back to enterprise and drop out our vehicle back off at home. The lady stated it was fine to leave the vehicle.Return of the vehicle learned that our vehicle had been towed. Enterprise was close when we arrived but a male was washing the vehicles and identified his self as a manger and provided us with the tow company information. All of this is going on from 6:05pm-6:30pm. Contacted the tow company and they confirmed have our vehicle and that enterprise contacted them to tow our vehicle and quoting us $320.Currently now have rental and will be returning today was to return yesterday but had to take the vehicle back as they towed us. Spoke with managers earlier today and they offered no type of assistance, one manger hung up in my face, another stating further they will be charging us for extended rental. Frustration here is this is an unethical business practice enforcing towing on your customers. Not only do I have to pay retail rate for additional day but also pay additional to get my car out from towing company.

I rented a car from Enterprise in early January and parked at ****************. I paid the parking fee at the time, yet about a month later, I received a citation letter and a penalty notice from Enterprise.I submitted proof of my parking payment through Enterprises internal portal, but received no meaningful response. Left with no alternative, I disputed the $70 charge with my credit card company and provided documentation. The dispute was resolved in my favor, confirming that the charge was not valid.I thought the issue was finally closed, but it wasnt. Enterprise has now handed this so-called outstanding balance to ************* their own debt collection arm. I am shocked and frustrated. I paid the parking fee, the citation was unjustified, and the bank already agreed I was not responsible, yet Enterprise continues to pursue this charge.I am extremely disappointed in Enterprises handling of this issue. How can I make sure this charge will be withdrawn from collections?

This is the worse rental car location I have ever encountered. The manager, Sean called to inform me that I would not be able to rent a vehicle that I had reserved over two months earlier. He called less than 24 hours before I was supposed to pick up the vehicle. His attitude was very nonchalant and unremorseful. It was definitely one of the worse customer service expeiences I ever had

On phone to rent car due to totaled clam from ****. Went to pick up car , first they started **** accepted charges and would pay for up to $30 a day until $900. The almost finished, they stated that **** called and change payment process. I had to pay fully for rental cost up front and get money back from ****, plus charged $300 hold on my card, left then called **** they stated they never called and changed payment process, They called enterprise and fixed the payments They payed all of rental. The truly thank enterprise was changing payment on there on , to take my money but not follow agreement with ****. We on fixed income a this would have effected us badly having to pay this money up front.

Rented a vehicle from ************************* ( RSW ) . Discovered car was infested with COCKROACHES after 15 - 20 were in our carry out box. Long story short, NO local branches would take car back . Had to drive hour and half back to airport to exchange. We tested with bread for proof so we could at least show Enterprise so they knew we were not making this up. ( there is no way to upload pictures here ) . I have already called Twice and was promised a returned call from " Area manager ".. No return call both times.... Really unacceptable.... I get things happen with vehicles , no difference than a engine light coming on . But zero care from ********* offices .

Racism is what they do best. My husband has rented multiple cars from different locations and we always have a problem with one associate Kaleb. He always tries to find a reason to not rent to my husband. He asked for another form of picture ID after he is the same person who rented him the previous vehicle. Saying his other associate said the Drivers License looked fake as my husband has grew his hair out. He asked my husband for a ****** card as another form of ID. ***** NEVER lets my husband pick his vehicle and always gives us ones that has to come back for oil changes. Its due to our race as he has NEVER done this to any others while we are there. They are RACIST towards BLACKS!!

I flew to ***** for a business conference on 3/19/25. I rented a car from Enterprise, and it was a horrible experience. First, the Sales Manager wanted to give me a "free upgrade" to an SUV. Because I had arrived in a city I was not familiar with, I wanted to keep the original vehicle. The sales manager then moved onto the next customer. However, the I-Phone charger didn't work with my I-Phone in the rented vehicle. So another Enterprise **** offered me a different vehicle. I then forgot to move all my luggage from the 1st to the 2nd vehicle. In addition, my charger didn't work in the 2nd vehicle. I barely made it to my hotel with my cell phone battery winding down. When I realized I left my CPAP breathing device in the first vehicle, I drove 20 miles back to ************* to 1) get a car with a charger that I could use and 2) try to find my ***** The Sales Mgr. I spoke to ( the same one as the first time) was happy to swap out the first vehicle. However, he was rude and totally dismissive of trying to find the ***** He said that vehicle was rented out, and he had no way to contact the driver. So we got into a disagreement, and he then refused to rent me any vehicle. So, I ended up ( after charging my phone for 20 min., to get a Lyft to take me to my hotel. I asked for the name of the Sales Mgr. and he refused to tell me. This whole experience is the opposite of the type of customer service experience that ***** Hotels experiences. I heard one time that a senior forgot his medications and he was from **. A ***** Hotels **** drove 5 hours to get the medication- meaning that customer is a customer for life. ********************** talks a good game when you show up on their lot to rent a car. But this experience has taught me that when you really need their help, they are nowhere to be found. It's very disappointing that the Sales Mgr. may not be held accountable for his actions during this entire experience.

We had to rent a car due to an accident (not our fault) and when we returned the car, which had Arizona plates, we were told it had hail damage. However, there were no hailstorms during the time we rented it. A couple of months later, they sent a bill for $2K+ for damage to fenders, doors the roof, and all kinds of other stuff. These people are fraudsters, and they won't hesitate to try to scam you out of every dollar they can. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH ANY BRANCH OF ENTERPRISE RENT-A-CAR unless you want to be defrauded. As far as I'm concerned Enterprise Rent-A-Car is a criminal enterprise. If there were an option for zero stars, I'd use it.

This has been the worst experience that I have had renting a car. I will never rent from enterprise again. I am a business owner that frequently rent cars from hertz or sixt. The incident took place on 3/13/2025. When I walked in I informed the young lady that I have a doctors appointment, and Im disabled.I told her I couldnt miss the appointment and had to be on ti**** was at the location almost 45 minutes including the wait ********* was one person before **** was told I would get an SUV before I got to the location.I got a car with a hatch back,So the kitchen cabinets I wanted pick up for one of my rental properties couldnt get picked ***** appointment had to be rescheduled the following week.Never ever will I rent from ENTERPRISE again.
