Morgan and Morgan does night fight for the people. They side 100% with the insurance company when they mess up your case and need to settle. Morgan and Morgan failed to represent me in an injury case. The attorney missed important deadlines and did not fight for my case at all. When I signed the agreement to settle, I was bullied relentlessly to settle for an amount far less than what they were originally fighting for my case. They lied repeatedly to manipulate the settlement outcome. They suddenly sided 100% with the insurance company they were supposed to fight against. I complained with the client experience team at Morgan and Morgan many times regarding the treatment I received from Morgan and Morgan attorneys. I repeatedly ask them to transfer the case to someone that really cares about my case. I am still suffering from the injuries and need further treatments yet they do not care about my treatment costs or pain and sufferings. Finally the client experience team transferred the case to Mr. Morgan and I was promised to be contacted by someone from Mr. John Morgan's office, no one contacted me. When I complained about it to the client experience team, one of the representative told me there is nothing more they can do to help. I am so disappointed in Mr. Morgan and his company. All the claim about for the people is all a lie. They care so little about their clients. Now I am left in the cold. After repeatedly bullied with deceitful manipulative lies, after promised to have this case transferred to someone who cares about the client, I am completely being ignored left in the cold still suffering from my injuries.Business Response

However, I still have not heard anything from Mr. Morgan's office in Orlando as promised. I very much look forward to healthy communications to resolve my settlement. A healthy communication never happened with the attorney I was forced to work with. The core issue is that the attorney, who is handling my case that has been bullying me relentlessly, has a position of power within Morgan and Morgan. The only person who has any power over this particular attorney is Mr. Morgan. That is why I asked Mr. Morgan to help. It is absolutely necessary that he gets involve so that I do not need to experience any additional harassment from this attorney. Mr. Morgan is the only person who has an authority to release me from the attorney who has caused me so much emotional distress to the point of developing serious PTSD. There have been people who wanted to help me at the company, including people from the client experience team, but this attorney immediately silences them. He tells them to hang up the phone or not answer my calls or emails with lies such as I got an attorney or I started a lawsuit. His behaviors have been consistently unethical. I am in a process of filing a complaint with the state bar. With all the evidence and witnesses I have, I am confident he will be disbarred after a thorough investigation. I am shocked Mr. Morgan is not interested in finding out exactly what is happening to one of his clients at his firm after repeated complaint being placed regarding this attorney. If I was in charge of a company and if I heard any hint of a problem such as the one I was reporting, I would investigate immediately to appropriately remedy the situation. I am starting to think that perhaps the reason why I am not hearing anything from Mr. Morgan is because he endorses these types of behaviors by his attorneys. Perhaps it is convenient for Mr. Morgan to have one of his attorneys do the 'dirty work' of getting rid of clients that are no longer useful in bringing profit for the company. Perhaps it is a lot easier to force them to get an attorney and fight them in court so that they can play the role of the insurance company. I really hope this is not the case. If Mr. Morgan knows what is happening, yet decides to ignore and do nothing, he is colluding with this attorney. I naively believed in Mr. Morgan and his company's mission that he and his company stand up for the people and care about his clients and that if I were to report a problem, they would immediately remedy the situation. One of the mission statements on his company website states that he treats his clients as his own family. Perhaps the clients become 'family' as long as there are potential profits attached to them. I was never treated with any of what is promised on his company website about what his company would do for his clients. They did hardly anything to fight for my case and I was repeatedly bullied with deceitful manipulative lies to the point of making me very ill. Before the case got dismissed in court, I was told witnesses do matter but when the case got dismissed because the attorney failed to serve the defendant by the deadline (even though I repeatedly asked them to make sure to not miss the deadline repeatedly), they completely flipped their position from 'believing my case' to saying things such as "truth doesn't matter" and "witnesses do not matter" They suddenly sided 100% with the insurance company they were supposed to be fighting against. They didn't care about the fact I am still injured and still need treatments. This attorney, who I was forced to work with, basically wanted to throw me out with very small settlement amount ignoring wage loss, pain and suffering, and future treatment costs. But he did something even worse; he decided to toss me out with absolutely nothing. It is abundantly clear he didn't care about me at all. He didn't care he caused additional injuries to me. PTSD I developed from my injuries was near recovery when the negotiation started about a year ago with Morgan and Morgan but now it is worse than it has ever been. PTSD from the accident is nothing compared to PTSD I got from dealing with Morgan and Morgan. Morgan and Morgan completely shattered me by utterly betraying my trust in the firm through this attorney's brutal treatments toward me. I have repeatedly pleaded with the client experience team to release me from this abusive attorney. I sent the proof of his lies and misconducts yet they kept forcing me to work with this attorney who caused me so much harm to my emotional health and physical health. The only thing I was asking was to work with someone who will be fair without being under the influence of this hostile attorney who seems to go out of his way to make everything miserable for me. But because this attorney holds the high position of power within the company, the only person who can do this is Mr. Morgan. What I am waiting for is a call from Mr. Morgan's office so that I can make an appointment to talk to Mr. Morgan. I need help with the settlement process. I want an explanation why he did not intervene to help me out of the horrific situation. I also want an apology directly from Mr. Morgan for leaving me in a situation that caused me so much emotional distress for so long. I will close this case when I have a chance to talk to Mr. Morgan and I have an absolute assurance I no longer need to deal with this particular attorney who caused so much emotional distress and that he no longer plays any part in the settlement process. Hi Tariq, Thank you so much for your help. I appreciate that very much. Yes, I got a call from Zander last Tuesday evening and we talked briefly on the phone. Though it was brief, we had a very healthy communication and I am very hopeful the settlement will get resolved in the near future in a fair manner. He also promised to not side with the insurance company. However, I am concerned I have not heard any response for the email I sent to Zander last Wednesday. I sent some documents for him to review and asked his legal assistant to print them out so that it will be easy for him to review them. He had told me he is very busy but I believe he would prioritize my case after reviewing the documents I sent him. Can you make sure he had a chance to review the documents I sent him last week that I had his assistant print them out for him to review? This was supposed to have been resolved in May of 2021. That is more than one year and 3 months ago. Morgan and Morgan has been withholding the settlement money I need for over 15 months. Part of the settlement money is for me to continue my treatments I so desperately need and to seek new specialists for my injuries. I made myself very flexible in making the arrangement to meet with Zander to discuss all the details. I am very thankful for the progress but given the absolute horror and terror I had to go through with Morgan and Morgan in the recent past, I would appreciate it very much if you could see it through to the end. I called Morgan and Morgan in December of 2021 about a problem I had with my homeowners insurance policy not paying a claim for my roof damage from hurricane Sally. I was told that a private roof expert would come out to evaluate my roof damage. The roof inspection happened in February 2022. The inspector said there was significant wind damage and he forwarded his report to the lawyer assigned to my case named Ryan T. J*****. Mr J*****'s clerk named Verna M***** contacted me and said they were reviewing the report and a letter of intent would soon be sent to the insurance company. I asked Ms M***** if I could go ahead and start the roof repairs and pay for them myself. She said in February of 2022 that she would ask Mr J*****. Every month from February until July I asked the same 2 questions, "Have you sent the letter of intent and if I could go ahead with the roof replacement ". Finally after 8 months of waiting I filed a complaint with Morgan and Morgan complaints department about the lack of Mr J***** not answering my 2 questions. I was told about the attorney trying to call me on the 28th of June. I received 4 calls that day and none were from the attorney. I called the complaint department again and the representative said she would forward my complaint to a manager and I would be called back the week of 11-15 July. Today I received a letter from Mr J***** in the mail saying they were not taking my case. After 8 months. I just hope that John Morgan reads this complaint because this should not be the type of behavior from an employee representing his firm.Business Response

On 5/25/22 I was denied my 2nd Disability claim and contacted M&M for representation. I was immediatley granted an "intake" assesment and was told that the firm would represent me. I received DAILY 2-3 phone calls asking for my intake again and still do. I was also asked to fill out information in order to be assisgned an Attorney. TWICE, and I have the emails announcing such, my application was "completed" and an Attorney was awaiting my reply....since then, not ONLY have I been told that I rescinded my application, I received via snail mail AND ******, my acceptance of retainer. TODAY, with DAYS left to respond to my appeal, I have been left on HOLD AFTER they contact ME for over 3 hours (phone records to prove) and have spent OVER 30 hours of outgoing calls trying to resolve the confusion. Both packages sent to me had different information and I couldn't get through to anyone to help with my questions INCLUDING calling the "main" number and put on hold for over a half hour only to be disconnected within a minute of contact. I physically went to a local office with all my paperwork and within a half hour, AFTER pulling up my records, was told to find another Atty and sue M&M for misrepresentation. M&M just took on more than they could handle. With time limits against me, I TRIED to continue with M&M to no avail. I STILL receive emails, now at around 3AM asking me to respond to initial evaluation. I have LITERALLY begged for a phone call regarding the continious questioning and get no response. I HAVE 2 letters of acceptance of my "retainer" YET, depending on who answers, I either cancelled my representation or they are still awaiting my paperwork..in FACT, the fed ex package I received AFTER over 2 hours on the phone trying to figure it out, according to the "local" office is meaningless because NO ATTY assigned and the recepient of my paperwork would have been to a "mail tech" employee and went NO WHERE. On Oct 3rd I was told my case was assigned AFTER being forced into signing a document allowing 6k of potential funds being paid to Morgan and Morgan even AFTER I requested a consideration of fess (emails attached). As of TODAY, NO lawyer, Admin or ANY person has contacted me other than vague forms sent to ME requesting information from my health care providers, IF THEY CHOOSE TO DO SO. NEVER, NOT ONCE, have I spoken to or have been advised as who my Atty is. I remained "on hold" for almost 6 hours (phone records will prove) with a "representitive" of Morgan and Morgan(after complaint) for a SS representitive and 3 times had to call back WITH the rep asking me to deceive the SS by stating no one else was on the line when questions were made and that they would "secretly tell me what to ask. NOTHING became of the wasted time and no one has contacted me since. Not ONLY do I wish to continue with my complaint, I am requesting advice as to how I can proceed with what I feel are direct extortion acts by Morgan and Morgan and how to file a complaint with Florida's Bar Association. I feel this is BEYOND little guy vs BIG Assoc. and little guy automatically looses as ALREADY shown. My case was closed because Morgan showed they reached out YET no follow up but made SURE I signed that they would receive 6k when my case settled...I KNOW that was the ONLY paperwork that never had an issue!! PLEASE leave this case open, if not for me, but for the many too innocent to realize there is ZERO actual representation and who knows how many dollars made by Morgan via simply attaching their name and awaiting the outcome. On 10,/21/22, If I do not feel I am adequately being represented, I will submit a request for termination to Morgan and Morgan and ask for the BBB records to be included. Please find attached request and submission dated 14 days ago...I have NEVER spoke with nor know of an assigned ATTY. All I have done was almost a full day of "on hold" and several phone calls to different SS offices with someone from Morgan (not an Atty) who asked me to lie (recorded conversation according to Morgan and Morgan) in order to receive information needed. No relevant information, according to contact was received and I was told I would get a call the next day or 2. That was 10/3/22, today is 10/17/22. There has been NO communication at all. I feel ample communication has occurred, and that we followed all the proper steps to help you with your case. NEVER, ONCE have I had an opportunity to speak with my Atty regarding my issues, and honestly can't recall any actual confirmation as to who my Atty. is. NUMEROUS times that question has been avoided, told not assigned and NEVER introduced as being my sole representative. I hired Morgan and Morgan in 2017 to handle my case after being rear ended and suffering spinal damage. I had very little contact with my lawyer in the years that followed, even if I called or emailed multiple times. In September of 2021 they finally contacted me about my case and said they'd reached a settlement offer from the at fault driver's insurance company. It was much less than I expected or actually needed to cover the medical bills that added up over the 5 years since my accident. The lawyer said that's as much as I'd get from the insurance company and that they would then go another direction to get more money. I signed my paperwork and mailed it by****** on October 2 2021. They let me know when they received it. Again it was months of me initiating contact and NO response. They eventually said accounting would be sending me a check. Then months later, when I could actually get in touch with someone they'd tell me they'll see what the hold up is with accounting. Now it's almost 9 months later, still no payment, now they don't answer emails or phone calls. I even reached out to their corporate number for agents to help clients, and still nothing. Not only do I absolutely want the $27k + that they owe me, but someone needs to look into their practices of stealing client money paid out by the insurance companies. It is theft either way you look at it. We are suffering, and trying to make ends meet while they keep our money.Business Response

Ultimately, Morgan & Morgan was able to collect the full amount of the defendant's insurance policy. While we understand the frustration of limited available coverage, that is not within our firm's control. Further, a settlement is often not the end of a case, as we spend a significant amount of time fighting health insurance liens and seeking reductions - all done to increase the amount paid to our clients. That was the case here. This firm's finances and escrow accounts are heavily regulated and monitored, and any suggestion that this firm steals money is baseless and not supported by any fact or evidence. Instead I paid 40% PLUS other fees on top of that, which were never disclosed to me, making the lawyer's payment almost 50% of the settlement. I just want them to give me my money. I have 4 cases with Morgan and Morgan they said they could not get in touch with us. they were trying to get in touch with us. our money was taking from us though an unauthorized account with **********************. Now it called well Fargo. We did not get any money from Morgan and Morgan, they took out 4 cases though false accounts. It happens in 2019 I reported the problem to you guys about Morgan and Morgan was take money. In want you took look in to the problem for me and no one had power of attorney. They supposed to had a protection consumer with Walmart I had a work accident and the store, I filed a claim about Roger ********. he was the lawyer working my Walmart accident he took all my family money. and I got in touch with Morgan and Morgan and Roger ******** supposed to delivery me my check from my Walmart accident. And my Mississippi state id was false . I had to get a new one so I had Morgan and Morgan to look in to the matter and they did the same thing. Months ago I inquired services from this law firm, they said they don't take my case and I get 40-50 calls every couple of days from them with Solicitation, I have called and asked to remove me from the list, I have blocked them but they get pass the blocking, all day I get their calls when on a meeting, working, class, is so bad that I keep my phone in no disturb mode 24/7. I am amazed that a law firm can get away harassing people this way. Calls come from many states and multiple numbers. I showed in my cell provider the list and they have seen this before as well as people trying to find a way to block them, the solution was to change my cell number . On 05/2021 I contacted Morgan and Morgan to represent me. I filed disability on 06/2021 and I am still pending a response. I am currently in the Appeal process which has been since 11/2021. Upon Morgan and Morgan stating they were representing me they failed to turn in my medical documents, failed to relay pertinent information to me and has yet to adequately provide services. I provided my "case manager" with hundreds of documentation and ssn only received THREE papers. I contacted Morgan and Morgan and the case manager was fired (unsure of reasoning.) So, I am denied obviously due to the fact that nothing was actually being reported. I then get a new case manager and a Appeal is filed. I understand this part takes time but I have reached out to my case manager with nothing in return. I even vowed to switch attorneys prior to appeal because obviously my case is of no importance which is okay. It was my negligence going with a big time Corporation vs someone local who will take the case serious. I have tried to get a different representation but of course then I am in legal bind to still pay 1/4 of my settlement. So I can't get proper representation from a company I am paying but I can't leave because I can be sued. It's really sad that this company can hang the little guy and it doesn't matter because they make so much anyways.Business Response

On 1/1/21 I was involved in an automobile accident that was not my fault. I called Morgan and Morgan to represent me. I have health insurance with my employer. M&M was aware of that. I used the medical providers they recommended. In October of 2021 I stopped hearing from M&M. I called, text and emailed my contact person at the firm with no response. Once, I did speak with my representative and she said she was with the attorney and would call me right back. That never happened. I called the customer care line several times and was always assured that someone would get back in touch but they didnt. It was around March of 2022 I called customer care and told them I would call the Bar Association if I didn't hear back from M&M. Attorney #2's representative contacted me and requested that I resend photos etc from the accident. I found out that the person who caused the accident had only $25,000 of coverage. M&M expects me to pay $18,000 in medical bills. My copayment is $75.00. I didn't see the Doctor that often. My bill would have been around $1000.00 if i used my insurance. I have sciatica which I did not have prior to the accident, a totaled car and a bill for 18,000. It appears that M&M is trying to model itself after the firm his family used for his brothers accident at the amusement park. Did I add that they feel they deserve to be paid. M&M is negligent and incompetent . This was simple math. The entire event has been stressful.Business Response

The problem that I have with this firm and any other firm that states on National Television or any for of advertisement, is that when they state that you pay nothing unless we win your case. They all need to change that slogan. On the case that me and my wife had with them was against a lady that killed our son in a car crash, The insurance company automatically sent the coverage of $50,000 to the attorneys office so that the insurance would be done on the case. That is not a win for the law firm, that is automatic from any insurance company and should not be treated as a win. So the law firm said that there was nothing else they could get out the case and cut a check for less than half of what the insurance paid out. I could see that being a win if the firm had to put up a fight to get that out of the insurance company, but they did not. Our sons life is worth more that $50,000 and the firm should be trying to do better. That lady took everything from us and I want the law firm to take everything from her and really show that you mean exactly what your commercial states "that you only pay if we win".
