      If you dont pay the fee by the 7th of the month they will call, text, and email several times a day. They act as if a person is months behind. They dont bother to ask if theres a problem, give you options or anything. They raised my rent over $40.00 per month just because, for a 5x 10 unit. Dont rent from them!

      Absolutely terrible experience and I haven't even moved into a unit. I am moving to the area from out of state, and gave their customer service the size of my camper to find an indoor storage unit. The person on the phone assured me that the unit would fit my camper, but once I was emailed the map of the location I pulled it up on ****** maps and noticed the doors looked very short. I called the property manager, and he verified that my camper would NOT fit in the location they had rented to me. I was then refered back to customer service to process a cancellation and refund. I was told by customer service that this was all processed. Two days later I noticed the account was still active so I called customer service again, and they said no cancellation had been processed and that a refund hadn't been issued, but they would process it now. Three days later I still haven't received a refund and another 50 dollars has been charged to the account. The property manager seems like they are trying their best to be helpful, but the customer service employees I have been speaking with have not been helpful whatsoever and I plan on contesting this will my credit card company if it isn't fully resolved within the day.

      These guys are the worst. They block my code **** can only enter when the office lady shows up, sometimes no untill 2pm (if she shows up). Have 6 days to clear my unit, paid for a truck, took the day off from work and can't even get inside. Once again nobody in the office and the manager not answering the phone. I'm going to sue these guys. Don't rent from this place

      I would warn people not to use there public storage facilities,my daughter had a unit with them and her unit got broken into as well as 4 other units in the same area as hers. The security doors werent working par usual and they give people a door code before they even pay for a unit giving them easy access to anyones belongings. Whats worse is the employees werent all that concerned about the fact that some expensive tools had been stolen out of her unit along with some other expensive car parts. So much for a secure facility. I would strongly recommend finding a bbb accredited facility as well as one that comes highly recommended and very secure.

      This company does not honor their written statements.I called the customer line to arrange for a **************************** unit at the site at ***** 42terrace S in independence and was told that there was a unit available the questions I asked were Based on paying a full year in advance was there any discount. The customer *** said yes and quoted a price.I specifically asked about one year payment. I reserved the unit and set up a time to go to their office to find ****** the agreement. The customer *** sent me a written agreement to my phone. Today I went to the appointment to finalize the rental. Upon arrival I showed the employee my reservation number and the clerk pulled up my reservation on her computer. It was then that the person stated that they were not going to honor my he reservation that I had in writing. When I stated that I had the information in writing she called , I assume her boss, and then told me that they were NOT going to honor this written agreement. I left then called their customer service line and lodged a complaint. The ***resentative on the phone stated that they were not going to honor the written agreement. SO I called their customer ********************** and lodged this complaint. I hope Public Storage sees that his and other would be customers are made aware of ******************************************* business practices.

      They raise your rental without notice the gate is broken half the time the manager is rude and good luck getting in touch with anybody.The worst customer service ever after being there for a year and a half, which they raised my rent three time, they cost me charges after I moved out and when I wanted to discuss, there was nowhere to complain to. there is no customer service at all.

      My storage unit, went from $240 to 3506 months later, now $ 482. Are they in the business of storage? If so I think they would operate a little differently. Or are they in the business of acquiring and auctions? Or both. Can not afford anymore. Wish I never started. Crazy. Bate you at beginning. I could see raising you once yearly a nominal amount. But this is crazy.I can't keep anymore

      I rented a unit out at Public Storage at *******************************************************. I wasn't able to make payments so of course they auctioned off my unit, which I get. But the fact is they never answer their phones or give a call back. At one point I was given the number to the district manager for that specific location and never received a call back from her either. They initially told me that I had 1 YEAR to retrieve my two boxes of belongings that was left behind from the person that bought my unit. Month 10 I called and talked to someone at that location and said that they still had my belongings. This is month 11 and since I was living in another state I wanted to know if someone else that I knew could come pick up my items. They said I had until 03/31/2025 to grab my items. Today 03/13/25, I was just told (after hours and hours of trying to get a hold of them) that they no longer have my things. She told me that they are only supposed to keep items for 30 days, not any longer. She then proceeded to tell me that this location was AUDITED and threw away at least 6 peoples belongings because they got in trouble. DO NOT go with this company. My two boxes included tons of photo albums, baby pictures, funny home made videos from VHS tapes, etc. Never to be seen again. Now I have nothing to show my future children what it was like when I grew up.

      Rat infested units. Property managers fails to alert renters or maintain property. Transcients use units to sleep in. Charge for renters insurance monthly. and it covers nothing.

      They lie to you about the prices and when you call them they act like they dont care. I wish I would have never picked them to put my stuff in their units I would have given them a zero but it wouldnt let me .im gonna have to move my stuff because I cant afford what they are asking me to pay every month
