      There customer service is horrible! We moved and been waiting 6 months for them to hook up services. Our service was supposed to be suspended until reconnected. They call constantly asking for money.

      Unethical and just a mess of a company. I purchased an equipment package over the phone from a Vivint *** named ****. I paid for everything in full at that time so I didn't have to sign up for an **************** agreement. Before we hung up the phone I had **** ***eat back to me the components included in my order and the price. I received a bill summary via email but it did not detail what was included. The next day Vivint called to set up installation. The installer showed up as scheduled and as we reviewed what he was installing we discovered his copy of the order didnt match what I had purchased. After a 2+ hour conversation with the Vivint ************************ I was assured everything on the purchase order had been updated/corrected and that they were honoring the price I originally had to agreed to with **** when I ordered it. Since things appeared to be resolved I allowed the installer to set up the complete list of components. When I received my monthly service fee invoice for security monitoring they had included an additional $400 to cover additional equipment. Long story short - they intended to send me $400 invoices for two months to cover the additional equipment. There was no additional equipment- only what I originally ordered and paid for. Vivint initiated a payment plan for me without my permission for equipment I was told was already paid for. They claim to record their phone conversations so I asked that they review both the original purchase call and the subsequent call to ************* the day of installation. I dont think k they bothered and refused to resolve this so I had the equipment removed and received a refund. Just stay away from these guys!

      Biggest regret as a homeowner. I went all inpanels, doorbell, indoor/outdoor cameras, CO2 monitors, sensors... the whole setup. The problem? The hardware is cheap and constantly breaks. And when it does, theres zero accountability. If you're reading this and considering their techrun the other way.

      It is ridiculous I paid a monthly service plan to service equipment. The camera is not working and the trouble shooting is for me (who is currently disabled) to climb a ladder and use a pin to somehow reset the camera that installed. I explained I cannot do it due to physical limitations and was informed since I have failed to do the trouble shooting protocol I am forced to pay $99 for a call out. This is disrespectful and ADA **********

      Vivint installed a security system in my business that is useless. The sensor is not meant for metal framing. I get calls and texts throughout the night saying my front door is open. This happens so much now that the police are charging me $100 each time they have to come out. Ive called with complaints countless times. The staff are uneducated and rude. Vivint says theres nothing they can do to fix it and is still making me pay for the service and product when neither serve my business NO PURPOSE.

      Worst customer service ever!! We've had nothing but trouble since we've been with Vivint. One of the door sensors fell out immediately & no one would come to replace it. The doorbell microphone doesn't work at all, & we can't hear the doorbell unless we're are right by the door. We've had NUMEROUS conversations with them. They've been promising to make everything right to stay with them, & then completely lie because nothing is done. You CANNOT get a technician to come fix it. I would not recommend Vivint to anyone!!

      Vivint is awful! I have regretted doing business with them, trying to cancel my subscription and it's been a nightmare!! PLEASE DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM! Please make sure you know that you have 3 days to cancel or change your mind about their service. They will sell you one thing and add 10 more, your salesperson will tell you differently, they are lying to you. You'll have two bills, one for service and the other for equipment. Please don't do business with them.

      We had several kids come by to ask if we wanted Vivint installed after they saw our ADT sign. My partner caved, and agreed to their 30-day free trial. We were told if we did not like their system, they would remove it and replace our ADT system. It took the kid about 6 hours to install 2 window sensors, 2 door sensors, a ring camera, a back yard camera, and a garage sensor. They destroyed our ADT camera cord when removing it (without advising us of the damage). After the first 3 days or so, we could not access the app for our security system, and were left without a system while we were gone from home. Called them to have it removed. They didn't call us back. Tried for over 2 weeks. Finally told them they needed to remove their equipment before we looked into a lawyer for breach of contract. They finally showed up 2 weeks later to remove their system. The *** said he was "not allowed" to reinstall our ADT per the original agreement. As we are trying to reinstall what we can, we found several broken wires that now require ADT to replace (at OUR expense). We were also told their "super fancy ring front door camera" was "only available through Vivint." Found the exact camera at ******** for about a third of the price they wanted to charge us. Do yourself a favor and don't waste your time or money with Vivint.

      Are there negative stars? NEVER, EVER USE THIS AS YOUR HOME SECURITY. I just spent 55 minutes trying to cancel this 2 year subscription, was transferred to 6 different people, had to get on the phone with Citizens twice to confirm my loan was paid off. This company is disgusting.

      We had a Vivint sales *** door knock our house three days after I returned from a deployment. The reason we agreed to get the service and equipment was the wife was worried while I was gone and felt the system would provide her a sense of security while I would be gone. We understood we were under contract to pay the equipment thats not a problem. The is we were straight lied to about other obligations. We were told our uninstall would be free of charge because were in a rental and were planning a move 6 months later and were promised the holes/ damage would be ***aired. So we move get charge 220$ for uninstall not only that was a lie but nothing was ***aired so that cost us a security deposit as well. When we moved into a house with a system already in use I try to cancel out monitoring service and apparently we cant??? Id have to pay the the remaining 4 years on a monitoring service out side of the equipment??? Complete and utter scam. Company should be put out of business for misinformation and fraud. Thousands of dollars down the drain for a useless system that sits in a closet.
