      Have been using the pharmacy at the Giant Eagle on Mountain View drive for about 2 years now. I've had regular issues with them with things like prescriptions that were set to auto-fill never actually being filled, and meds that I'm notified are ready are not. However, I'm now OFFICIALLY DONE! I've been picking up a specific prescription there for 4 months now. Last month, the dosage was doubled by my doctor. My doctor sought and received pre-auth for the higher dosage from the insurance company. However, the pre-auth was attached to the original authorization for the medication, so the pharmacy had to call the insurance company to get a manual override. They didn't bother to do so, and the pharmacy only filled half the prescription last month. I didn't even notice because NOBODY said a SINGLE word to me about not being able to fill the higher dosage, that I only got half a dose, or that there was any issues with the pre-auth. I didn't know a single thing was wrong until a full month later I went to go pick up my second refill on the higher dosage, and noticed myself that it was only the half dose. Only when I asked, did they let me know there was an issue with the pre-auth. I left and called my doctor again to verify everything, and got exact dates of when the authorization was approved, when it's good until, and tons more. I passed all of this on to the pharmacy and they continued to say there was nothing they could do and refused to call the insurance company. When I called and asked to speak to a supervisor to discuss my concerns about not being notified there was an issue and that my prescription wasn't filled to the full dosage 2 months in a row without notification, all I got told was that there was nothing they could do (even though to this point they STILL have not called the insurance company). Since I doubled the dosage on this medication, I lowered a subsequent medication. This has had serious health implications and they simply do not care.

      My main complaint is the way I witnessed the store head treating his staff. I saw first had while shopping on several separate occasions; him berating his staff to the point of it practically being bullying. On one occasion I heard him threating someone with their job. Another time he was berating someone saying they make the store look bad, and they need to work faster than quote "their chubby finger will let them". He is nothing but bitter and angry with every interaction I have witnessed with him. Not to mention he is short with customers and talks down to them like we're stupid. I really don't see how he got to the position he's in, and it clearly shows he's never worked a day of honest hard work in his life. This pompous rich boy needs to go...
