      We had our water shut off numerous times during November threw January, the company never sent me a bill until I called,the owner is very rude and disrespectful,I tried to explain about the water being shut off and the leak being the parks problem,and why my bill was so high ,she didn't want to hear anything,but threats of shutting off my water,she wouldn't ever research the problem,I've never heard of charging people for well water,this company needs looked into ..

      This company is over charging everyone in this manufacturing park. I bought my trailer and I live by myself since I moved in last November 2023 and my water bill has continued to go up every month and I've called them several times asking why the bill keeps going up every month because I haven't changed my routine at all I've had 2 strokes so I'm pretty much home all the time and don't use anymore water than what I use so I don't understand why it keeps going up and I wanted to know where the water meter was so I can start reading it and was told it was under the trailer they read it from their office and with the skirting there is no access to get to it my electric and gas meters are out beside my trailer where I can get to it after calling and complaining about that and to the fact that our water is turned off so much I get the bill in January that's due on the 15th of every month and you get a 5 day grace period now that they send the bills out electronically we don't get paper bills anymore but you get them on the 1st and have 15 days to pay the bill or get a 10 late fee and I pay my bills through my bank which isn't like my other bills so they send a paper check and they tell you a date that it will arrive to them by and for this the bank told me the day they would get it by just like a lot of my bills say when I pay them the bank sent it through the mail the only way they can they sent it out on the 8th and and gave me the 15th they would receive it by and they did but didn't put it in their system until the 21st and then charged me a $10 late fee they already charged $8.50 service charge to everyone to use their well water charge by the gallon always have the water turned off and you get charged $2.50 to pay online which is the only way you can pay the bill to not get a late fee and my bill including 10 late fee for January was $93.04 and I live alone I don't take a shower everyday and don't wash clothes much as I don't go anywhere I think they overcharge

      They are charging me a late fee and I have proof thru my online banking that my payment was not late, it was early. It's not my fault that they took so long to process my payment & deposit it in their bank. I have called & called them for days & emailed them & I cannot get in touch with anybody or a response. They only list a po box for an address so I googled their physical address & drove 30 mins to the location & it was a house & no one answered the door. They keep adding late fees & will shut off my water if I don't pay them.

      this was a new account with ***** ****** park. i was told i would receive something in the mail as to setting up my account ihave not received anything yet. trying to get info by computer was impossible i finally got tracked down what i needed the only bill i have received was for august for 3mons. with an adm. fee and a notice fee which i should not have to pay plus i can not pay the full amount a one time because you failed to contact on the first bill personally i think your way of doing business sucks and is quite unprofessional

      On June 14, 2024 I did not receive monthly bill I called the pay by phone line and paid my balance, then set up auto-pay for the following months. On July 3, I received my statement for June. On July 5, I received my July statement. It stated my account was past due. I called the company July 8. I explained to them that because of their error with not completing the auto-pay I felt I should not be responsible for the late fee and notice fee, they told me there was nothing they would do about it. I asked to speak to the supervisor. She was not available. I asked that she give me a call back. I never received the call. I called back on July 10 and asked to speak to the supervisor again. Again, she was not available. I again requested a call back. She did not call. Then I received a text from them that the auto-pay was run and denied for lack of funds. This morning I called the pay by phone Line and made a payment of $89.00. I then called the company back to attempt to speak to the supervisor again. This time the company rep I spoke to said that I spoke with the supervisor yesterday when I called, after sayiny that she was not available. Also, if I did not pay the remaining balance of $22.00 by July 16, I would be charged another late fee and notice fee of $25.00. I am hoping that you can help me resolve this matter.       RE: account number ******: 5star Phone: ************   I would like an investigation on 5Star Metering LLC of Burlington NC. I bought a trailer in May 2020 in The **** ****** ****** home park. Around that time, ********** switched water companies about 6 months later. 5Star has been billing me and other tenants in excess water bills. I have attempted over 2 years to solve this problem. Every time I have called 5star, I manager would tell me I need a plumber to check under my home for leaks, which I have done a few times. I only asked how do they bill, and which meter are they using to track my water? Every time I ask too many questions, I get yelled at, and they say someone will call me back; which no one in over 2 years has called me back. I have been complaining to the manager of this trailer park, and she said to write to you. She can no longer get involved. In 2021, I asked where the meter location is, so I can track it; they said under the house. The next time, they stated they are using a grey gauge meter attached to the house, and November 2023, the new manager (one year she states) said, he is reading it from the pit! She also stated that 5 stars does not have to give me proof of where they are reading my water usage. They are a utility company! Then, she yelled: “someone” will call you back and hung up. My primary job is an educator (teacher), and I keep a 2nd job. I work 12 hours per weekday, and only wash two loads of clothes on the weekends. I have asked over 10 times, how is my water bill higher than my stay-at-home neighbors with 4 kids and a husband? I need help tracking how 5Star is tracking my water bill! They also have other trailer parks in the ********** ** area. If you can audit and track their billing. I am sure you will find a problem of overcharging tenants; especially since they are 80% Latino. Please help me!!! We are being overcharged.

      I missed 1 payment, they billed me a $10 late fee and on top of that a $15 notice fee which is greed. They do NOT send notices via mail anymore so I don't see where they have right to charge $15 for anything. They are greedy. There's no reason to charge someone an additional $15 just for words and numbers added (late fee $10.00) to an electronic notice which everyone gets every month. They need to be investigated and things need to be fixed because they're crooks.

      On March 4 my water gt shut off due to not working I was going to pay it the following week an call in to the lady an she said it was about 1000 dollars an even tho it's turned off they still are charging me. She stated that we own the building across the street an no one is in there we still have to pay for it. As a utility company that is completely illegal to keep charging g someone when the utility is turn off. In butler county that is not allowed. From them continuing to charge me as water is off I'll never get caught back up with them. This is not fair to be getting charged when its turned off. I then asked her to make a payment an they would not expect my payment, so there going to just keep charging people when there service is off. I want to know what rule Ohio has to billing customers when there service has been terminated. Because again in butler county that's not exceptable or permitted. I only asking for them them to allow me to pay the original amount before they continue to charge me while my water is off. I asked the lady aslo t set up a payment plan an she laughed on the phone she was extremely disrespectful, an at this rate no one would ever get caught back up being charged like this. Just want my bill to be back to original bill an have my water back on.

      There is only one person in the house, normally the bill is no more than $80. The meter they installed was bad, please see third party statement from ******** ******** 6.6.23 which reads: "checked for leaks, no leaks, watched meter, it did not spin, meter is bad or meter reader is bad". A Five Star tech came out a few days later and said it read over $600 already, and "it was bad and they would change it out". They let this go on a long time, we contacted them multiple times to say their meter was reading incorrectly.

      have been paying monthly and the bill just keeps going up my husband has talked with the company every month and there is always an excuse why the only thing is our water usage has been limited to bathing laundry and all other usages once a month to try and lower the bills to no advail others in the park are having the same issues on 7/16/2023 the bill was 83.59 today they sent bill for 230.00 7/28/2023 there has been no usage only toilet flushing that is a big jump if you ask me I think somebody should look into this company 5STARMETERING LLC MASSILLON OH 44648 PHONE ************ thank you very much for your time WENDY ******
