5 starsI wish to share that the ****** Davey Tree crew came to trim and anchor my four-story pear tree on 26th March 2024. It was a very cold ************** arrived promptly, happy and were ready to work. I am totally pleased with the results and especially the crews customer ********************** interaction. They were professional and respectful. They explained their work to me. They took the time to answer my questions, clearly. They came across as being very safety conscientious as they worked. 5 starsA+ service taking down 4 large oaks in one seesion this summer. Had additional work done this week taking down a tree and grinding three stumps. Got scheduled quickly. Crew always cleans up all evidence of any work. Very happy w/ their work.Review fromJennifer D

1 starThis company has an underhanded way to try to get money from people. They will send annual renewal notices/invoices every year, regardless of whether you actually want their services or not. The only way to cancel the services from happening or being charged is to contact them "in writing" to cancel. Even after I requested a cancel, they said they canceled for "this year", but that we will receive the same renewal services/invoice next year. How do I get out of this endless trap?They got me on this last year - and they showed up and completed services that I did not explicitly request, but since I had not canceled them in writing, I was charged. I'm certain they've scammed countless people out of money using this poor business tactic.Review fromNick T

1 star*** in central Florida hired this company to trim around power lines near my home. Davey Tree Services dropped tree branches on my fence. When I confronted the workers about my fence, I was told to go away as it wasn’t a problem. Then one of the workers brandished his hard hat as a weapon against me. No foreman ever contacted me like I was assured would happen. Nobody in corporate ever contacted me like I was assured would happen. 5 starsDavey Tree did an awesome job removing my tree April 2023. Their clean up was immaculate! It looked as if a tree was never there. Arborist, ********************* along with his working crew ******, ****** and ******, were on-time, friendly, professional careful, neat and clean with outstanding customer **********************. They deserve 10 + stars. I am still recommending Davey Tree to friends. Great job guys!Review fromEric S

1 starThey are horrible people with horrible attitudes. I left this morning came back they were blocking my driveway I pulled up and put my blinker on as if I wanted to pull in my driveway. I sat there for 5 min while 2 trucks with people stood there and talked. Finally I went around them into my yard and that how I got on my driveway. When I stood out from my vehicle I'm like you could of moved everyone of y'all seen needed to pull into my driveway. They replied it not our fault you did not ask to move. Such *****. Then the supervisor went yelling something but I ignored him.Review fromjake l

This company is garbage. I called for an estimate they got back to me two months later. I replied they never got back to me a complete waste of time. Other reviews indicate they are trash as well. This is for Milwaukee by the way. ****** ***** & crew are a bunch of absentee losers it looks like.

We requested some tree trimming (30 feet high or less) as well as clearing a parking area that had become overgrown. In Davey's estimate, it stated "Expose Concrete Slab in back yard by removing several weeds, invasive trees, and vines." ****** estimated it would take 3 people a full day. When they were finished, the concrete slab had a couple of inches of dirt and debris covering it. Their contract states it has to be "rakeable," so I figured I'd clear it after work with a broom. It took a lot more than a broom. It was loaded with vines, weeds, and small to large branches. It took me 6+ hours to actually clear it that night. ****** left a message after my initial contact and offered to send people back to clean up the "leaf matter," but at that point I had already done it so we could use it the next day. I wish I could post photos to show the difference. It is a stark contrast. The 3 people who did the work were only here for 3 hours. ****** stated that the time difference between the estimate (8+ hours) and the actual (3 hours) was because I was "lucky" to get such an experienced crew. Those 3 hours cost me more than 3 grand.The Davey Tree Expert Company

I had contracted Davey for some work with review of cosmetic pruning and unhealthy trees. The work order changed as I had another service do some of the original estimate and neighbor objected to tree that is on property line. We finally came up with new plan and a week before work was to done, a storm hit. This changed the work order based upon storm damage and contracted damages. The original plan had trees checked by Davey and made plan what to remove. Trees Davey said were healthy were not. They fell on my house and car. I then needed to change my clean up plan and what was damaged by the storm. What a debacle. The estimates and invoices included work not down and the total bill remained the same without some work being complete. The work that was not done, need to be billed later. Despite the estimates including all work required and requested. Trees were never cut as close to ground as possible. Stumps needed grinding. Service was promised but never completed. The crew was very professional but getting accurate and concise bills were real opportunity. As the storm damage was covered by insurance, I needed accurate invoices. What a headache to to make this happen. I spent around $10K. The value for what was paid is questionable as work promised was never completed.The Davey Tree Expert Company

5 starsThey guys sent to my house, ***** ***** , they were courteous, very accommodating, and fast. They blocked my driveway, I was super angry instantly of course, the men there were nothing but helpful and apologetic, at this point, so was I! Just thanks to the men sent to me. Great group of respectful men!
