    Our relationship started great. They could get the lift chair to our condo within a few hours. My husband came home from the hospital, sat in the chair from 7 PM Thursday to 9:30 AM Friday, and went back into the hospital. He passed away the following week. The chair was sat in twice! No refund. So it turns out my husband's comfort cost us $175 a sitting! The contract says no prorated for a shorter term, regardless of the actual rental period, but this is ridiculous. Go somewhere else that prorates or rents by the week!!!!

    Dear Ma'am, I am glad that we were able to provide same day delivery service during your time of need. As you stated, you did agree to rent this chair for one month and that is the only charge that you incurred from us - not a delivery charge or a even surcharge for immediate delivery. I am sorry you feel you are owed a refund, but I will liken this to staying in a hotel room. Most hotels allow you to check in by 4 p.m. and keep the room until noon of the following day. After your visit and after you paid, would you expect the hotel to refund part of their rate if you had arrived at 8 p.m. and left at 6 a.m.?
