ABSOLUTELY THE WORST. Our home warranty co. Sent them to service our ac and furnace. The tech told us both needed replace due a split in ac coil which caused ice build up which ran down on to heat unit causing a crack and damage to ignition system. Tech as all of there techs was great. He promised to have a quote sent over. However, after a week no quote. I called and was referred to a sales person who sent a vague 4 line email with price. He under quoted btu by 50%. Called to ask why, since he had never been he checked a different house on zillo and assumed we had 900 sq'. We have about **** on first floor and basement of equal size and a 75k btu furnace. Asked him to require and send an actual detailed quote not a 4 line value email. I also asked him to quote upgrades which I would pay for. 3 email 4 line quotes later and a few calls to him, I called and asked for the company manager. Explained situation to him and what sales guy verbally quoted was included in his quote. Manager said only part of the system replacement was covered. Long story short he kept pushing me to bypass warranty company and only buy directly from his company. That was a total of 3 weeks and still no new unit. I have since worked with a bbb a++ rated company with great bbb reviews.SO BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY.

************ In April 2022 My home warranty company, American Home Shield, had a technician come out to assess my furnace. I'd had another company assess it prior to this who recommended a new furnace. Fast Response was the contracted company with AHS who stated it just needed a new part. Low and behold, the furnace as of today, October 24, 2022 still has not been repaired. I've made several calls to AHS and to Fast Response. (AHS review to be added as well). I have sold the home with the agreement that I will be responsible to get the furnace fixed--as Fast Response assured me they could fix it and the part would be available "in 2 weeks". However, that was in June and, again, this is not repaired. Since then, I've had someone from Fast Response tell me they don't even work on furnaces until the Fall, and again, every 2 wks, the "part will be in in 2 weeks". I am so angry with this company, I can't even stand hearing their name!! I've asked them to be up front with the home warranty company that they are unable to get the parts needed so that we could move forward in getting a working furnace. They refused to do so. The new owners of the home have had a week of freezing temperatures with no heat and all I get from anyone is "it'll be in in 2 weeks". Obviously, not. They have delayed and delayed and delayed this for no reason. If this would have been dealt with as I'd been asking all this time, a new furnace could have been installed--probably by Fast Response (although now I would not ever have them do any work)--so I am confused and angry that this has not moved forward. And, it's all because Fast Response keeps saying "2 weeks". RIDICULOUS!! I understand they will respond with they are at the mercy of the manufacturer. But, let's be real here. If you can't get the part, you can't fix it. It's been nearly 7 MONTHS. Stop!! And let's move forward....never would I recommend this company!!

They are the most worst company to deal with. They said that they called my phone to inform that they are in the way to my residence and i have the call log on my phone and i will provide call logs from my phone provider to prove that they did not call me. I was told someone will be out today and nothing. If i could give this company 0 stars i would. I have a 31 months pregnant wife and a 72 year old father in law in the house and no AC still. WORSE COMPANY EVER ALL LIERS IN THE COMPANY

Mid June, my AC went out will the average temperature was 100. I call my home warranty company to fix the issue and they assigned the job to these clowns. The technician came out and quickly assessed that it was a problem with my blower wheel. Ok, fine. He said he had to order the part and the would let me know once it came in. He gave and ETA that was 2 weeks out... after the 2 weeks went by and not hearing anything, I called them for an update and was basically told the part wasn't in and that they would call me once it was (in a rude tone). FINALLY, after waiting over a month, I called a friend who's in the business to fix my issue. He went directly to the Traine distributor which is 2 miles from my home, bought the necessary parts and fixed my AC. THEN, on top of that, the next day, this company called me to tell me a technician would be out to measure for the parts... Wait, "measure for the parts"? All along it was my understanding that the part was ordered and we were waiting for it to come in... All that's needed is the serial number and model... Keep in mind, we're now talking over a month in extreme heat. So when the tech arrived to "measure the bad part", I had it on the floor of my garage. I told him "there you go, measure it. I've already got it fixed". This company is a joke and don't care about their customers.

AHS dispatched the Fast Response Heating & Cooling company to my home to repair my AC that was not blowing cool air in my home 2 months ago. Their technician diagnosed it needed 3 lbs of refrigerant and I paid them over $550.00 for it right on the spot. It did not work. A second visit diagnosed that it was the breaker that needed to be replaced. It did not work either. 3 subsequent visits produced different diagnosis and nothing worked. I did hire another AC company for another opinion and was told all it need was a new compressor. I told that to the FRH&C company and they sent a another technician who agreed to replace the compressor. It took FRH&C 2 months and multiple charges along the way to determine that my AC needed a new compressor. A technician came to transfer the refrigerant I had already paid for to one of their containers and was informed that the compressor he came to install was to big for my AC unit. Their appointments are scheduled for windows of 24 hours, which means I had to be in my home 24 hours and sit there at 90 degrees and wait to receive their call that they were coming. I was told they were coming last Friday and they did not and then the next day Saturday I received a text they would be at my home in 2 hours, then another text message it was going to be 3 hours and then no more text messages. I called Monday to complain that I had spent another 24 hours in my home at 90 degrees waiting for them. I was told the technician had fixed my AC and put a new compressor that Saturday afternoon without me being present at the premises. I then proceeded to check my new fixed AC as I was told by the FRH&C that it was. To my surprise my AC was not only not working but now the blade fan was not working either. I called them and was told a new visit will have to be paid for this new problem. They did Tamper with my AC while I was not present in my house. Please STAY AWAY FROM THE FAST RESPONSE HEATING & COOLING to avoid the NIGHTMARE I WENT THRU.

Our a/c blower was not working, so we requested service through our home warranty. So the first tech was here on Monday for all of 20 minutes. Looked around in the unit, called his boss a few times and then left, saying a senior tech would have to come out. The senior tech couldn't come out until Friday. He was here for about 20 min too and quickly identified that the thermistor (about $9 part)in the blower was bad and said he was going to take the blower back to the shop and change out the thermistor.. He never came back and then ghosted us (not responding to our calls and texts). I called Fast Response on Saturday morning, and they said it was going to take another 5-7 days before the thermistor can be changed out and that they would call for scheduling. The tech never said a word about this. He acted like he was coming back the same day. He left the unit open and parts out in the floor with wires everywhere He also left our unit on, which would have frozen back up if my husband had not noticed. I insisted that we just get our blower back that day and talk to my warranty company about using a different repair company. She said she'd have to call me back to see if they could do that. I said I'll sit on hold while you contact the shop. She then came back and said someone would call me to schedule a time to get my blower back. I said, no I'll just drive over there and pick it up. Then she said she couldn't get an answer from anyone in the shop. I said I'll stay on hold until they answer. Then she came back and magically, someone would be out that day to put the repaired blower in. About 30 min later, the 2nd tech we dealt with on Friday texts my husband to tell him he recommended we just get an entirely new furnace and sent the pricing ($5,000). He said didn't know anything about someone coming out that day to finish the job. So I called the main number back. She said yes, someone will be out that day and that they would call 30 min before (y'all text though, not call

...She didn't know anything about tech #2 suggesting that we spend $5,000 for a new furnace, even though the problem was not complicated nor expensive. Finally the 3rd tech came out and put the repaired blower on and didn't find any additional problems. He actually resolved the issue! I don't understand how your business operates successfully with such atrocious communication, both internally amongst your associates and externally with your customers. Are you all even a profitable company? I've never seen such poor business practices. We had to go through all of that over a $9 part that is relatively simple to replace. I'd hate to see what it's like for more complicated issues. So, it was no surprise to me that there are pages upon pages of complaints on the Better Business Bureau website for your company. Not sure if you treat regular customers badly, or just your home warranty customers. But you can be sure I'll tell everyone I know not to ever use your service.

If I could leave 0 stars, I would. Had a technician out to my house last week to fill up my Freon. Which was obviously expensive. I do have an old unit that I was planning on saving $$ to replace next year, but I currently cannot afford to have it replaced as Im a single mom. Well the technician either messed with my unit on purpose to break it (ex..a wire being twisted that wasnt before, high side service valve being messed with that shouldnt have been touched, and the top not screwed on all the way that resulted in all of my Freon leaking out.) So either these things were done on purpose, in hopes that I would go through him to replace it and he gets his commission off me. (Because he repeatedly made sure to tell me I should get a new one or Ill be having to fill up the Freon all the time. And made sure to tell me to call him directly when I do need a new one) Or they had no clue what they were doing. Either way dont use this company. They will also hang up on you when you tell them you dont need their service anymore and you try to explain all the problems they caused. So now I have to scramble to figure out how to afford an entire new unit so that my kid and I have a/c. While also trying to figure out how to afford groceries this week after wasting $200 on Freon thats all gone 5 days later. Save your money and use anybody else.

Doesnt properly diagnose; not sure the technician even knew how to. Came in took pictures of the A-Coil sent pictures to someone else then left. Received emails later asking for $2494 because the home warranty company wouldnt cover their other items listed In the quote. Not sure why they wouldnt just repair or replace the just the A-coil instead their trying to modify it with something different.

Fast Response is far from fast. I was told by their technician that he "Is CERTAIN that my home warranty company will cover the evaporator coil" for my a/c unit. AHS did agree to cover the cost of the coil, BUT fast response apparantly told my warranty company that 7 different "modifications" were needed before they could install the coil (something the tech NEVER mentioned when he was here and when he was ASSURING Me that he KNOWS my work would be covered). So a $900 evaporator coil then turned into a $2,400 cost! I called Fast Response on the 18th of July and asked for an update/explanation of these costs since AHS told me they would cover the cost of the coil and there would be no out of pocket expense on my end for replacing the coil. The girl at Fast Response whom I spoke to was VERY rude and defensive. It was an odd response from what was suppose to be a simple phone call asking for an explanation. I asked her to please send me something in writing like a receipt or invoice showing what exactly they are detailing took place from their tech who was out here in June. She said it would take ***** hours for me to receive the invoice. Almost 4 days later I STILL have not received an email. I called today asking about the email and she said the "Team" that sends the emails is "a bit behind". She would not let me speak to her manager or anyone else. Thankfully I have now opted to have a different more professional company now work on my a/c replacement/repair. Fast response is not a trustworthly nor reliable company.
