Oxford Automotive (New Albany location) took advantage of me and my situation. Out of the blue, my 2015 Dodge Caravan would not shift into drive. No error lights on the instrument panel and no fluid leaks. Being the primary caregiver and parent most responsible for transporting our children, I immediately scheduled my minivan for inspection at a repair shop in a close proximity to our home. Was given a diagnostic code and told that my transmission had a leak and was low on fluid. Nothing that $2500 in replacement of hoses and gaskets cant fit. In addition to the repair, I was upsold $500 for an oil change, replacement of air filters and flushing of my braking system. I figured since it was in the shop, I might as well get other items addressed. Once repairs were complete, I picked up my van. Within the first mile and a half, my van lurched from a stop at a four way intersection. Within the next two miles, my van wouldnt engage when shifted into drive. Total trip, less than 6 miles. Contacted the shop immediately. Was told to bring in the following morning. Upon second inspection, my van required a full transmission replacement. Another $6500 over and above the work completed. What I have learned since this experience, is that given the age, manufacturer and diagnostic code (P0733) a transmission repair should never have been a solution. What a waste of time and money dealing with Oxford. I do not recommend this shop to anyone, especially those that rely on the honesty and good faith of technicians for their vehicle repairs.

Oxford offers coupons for certain services. Each coupon states "Cannot combine with any other any other offers." This statement is used by thousands of organizations and customers clearly understand what "cannot combine with other offers." This statement is used to make sure customers do not use more than one coupon on the same product or service. It prevents stacking of coupons or offers. Cannot combine uniformly means only one Coupon can be used for one product or service. After having work done on my auto Oxford told me "Cannot combine means only one coupon can be used when paying an invoice. Oxford misusing this universally understood statement to avoid recognizing coupons that are clearly for repairs that meet the coupons requirements should not be allowed. After asking why my coupons had not been used to reduce my bill I was told to leave the building not to come back and a manager physically escorted me out the door. Police have a report of this.

I brought my *** series 3 into Oxford back in March .I was sent to ***** at the Westerville location on referral from a ********* that time I was aware I needed new breaks , turn signal and break lights . Once the inspection was done ***** gave me a total of *****.. He told me that anything we left out would just be minor issues that needed done later down the road. The same day I recieved my vehicle back it shut off completely while driving . I was then given a different quote for 716$ and was told after this the car would drive just fine. And that a declined job I didnt decline but was on the decline list was on there because ***** didnt want to overwhelm me with minor issues. I recieved the car again and after a few days of driving it started smoking and was then told it was due to the declined job. I then approved this job which was for 1590 only to receive it and continued to experience the same issues. I wanted to speak to management at this point and spoke to *** who was very rude to me at first but later offered a refund of 1590 and a new inspection.( free of charge ) which I was then told the vehicle has low fuel pressure (not related to any concerns or issues they had found previously). I declined those jobs because Id be a few more thousand and was given a refund of only 1590. And was now told ** be in my best interest to just sell the vehicle. Which I wouldve done if I wouldve been given a full quote up front but instead it was a few thousand and then more and more everytime I brought the vehicle back . I hope this does not happen to anyone else it put me in a terrible situation !
