We had an A/C unit fail unexpectedly during the heat of the summer.. Butler came in and diagnosed our needs, ordered components and had our new system operational within a very reasonable window. They also offered a very attractive finance program that made this unfortunate event more bearable. A month later we scheduled the replacement of our 24 year old second heat a/c unit, water softener and water heater. Very pleased with the entire experience !

Recently I need an AC unit repaired after I hit it with the lawn mower. I live in a rental so I was paying for it and was nervous about the cost. I expected it would be several days sincebthe hit weather hit. I was more than please when the service and price. They scheduled me in within a couple days. The tech were more than friendly. I was thinking the whole uni would need replaced due to the amount of damage. They jumped right in and we discussed what the damage was as they went threw it. They worked till it was done though i expected several hours it was actually very quick. The cost......I can only say I was shocked but in a positive way. I had in my mind what I thought it would cost but it was much lower. Would not hesitate to call them again if needed and will tell others to call them. I requested a service call on 1/27/23, furnace was not staying on, when tech arrived I had to ask him to put shoe covers on, then in the review of the furnace I was told two different items that needed repair. I kept asking about a simple service or tune up and it was if it was foreign to him. After going to the van and having a cell phone conversation and a smoke break, he returned and attempted to tell me that the circuit board was bad. I ended up paying a fee of $281.00 of which I will dispute sooner than later. All in all, was told I needed some type of power source switch for $299 and a circuit board for $749 of which I thought was crazy, especially for a furnace that is just 10 years old.Butler Heating and Air Conditioning

Thank you for the feedback. No excuse for a Butler technician not wearing shoe covers. I am familiar with the repair you're referring to. The technician went to his service van to get price and availability from the equipment manufacturer over the phone for the replacement circuit board needed to get your furnace back up and running. Then he returned to provide that part and repair price to you. There is a fee associated with providing a tech and his diagnostic work, which is the amount you were charged.Review fromShelly L

Our old air conditioning system developed a freon leak. System was too old to be worth spending money on fixing. Got multiple estimates from 2 companies for replacing with different levels of efficiency unit, and possibly changing from just cooling to a heat pump that could both heat and cool. Also needed to address insufficient cooling in certain areas of the house. First company gave multiple estimates as requested, and as was slightly less expensive for similar solutions; however, didn't address insufficient cooling. Research on equipment to be installed was a bit sketchy. Decided to get another estimate elsewhere for comparison. Butler representative came out, talked extensively with us to understand current system strengths and deficiencies and understand our goals. Spent a couple hours going through our house and attic to learn current system and requirements, then left. Contacted us a couple days later with multiple options to address both our cooling needs and potential heat pump, as well as addressing current deficiencies. The solution we chose was about $4K more that the other companies' similar solution, but had everything necessary to fix our deficiencies. After signing the contract, a technician temporarily refilled our freon (for free!) to get us through the heat until attic temps would be low enough to install the new system. When cooler fall temps arrived, Butler's install team came out and spent a week with us. All three guys were courteous and knowledgeable. They made a couple minor installation mistakes but immediately fixed them. After install was complete, tested airflow from ALL vents and verified cooling/heating functions. Very satisfied with their work. We've had the system running now for about 2 months now and used both heating and cooling functions. All parts of the house are much more comfortable now. Still very happy with the system. Would definitely recommend Butler to others at this point.Butler Heating and Air Conditioning

A Butler Service Tech responded to the customer, to a no heat and condemned a 9 year old ultra high efficiency furnace, supposedly after filing a four line service report; saying he checked pressure switch differentials and pulling the inducer fan citing a sooted/blocked secondary natural gas heat exchanger. Next he told the customer he would be credited the $281.00 dollar service call fee if he purchased a new furnace. The external condensate box was never checked and found dry. Basic 101 service inspection; I directed the customer fill it; started the furnace and watched it prove through the safeties and starting sequence of operation. The unit now functioned flawlessly! Called the owner, informed him that the customer recently had cancer, and he should credit the customer, he wouldn’t make things right at my suggestion, and hung up on me! Don’t use them, they’re Scheisters!! What a bunch of scammers, looks like they just want sell furnaces instead of repairing them!!!Butler Heating and Air Conditioning

I solicited a quote from A accredited plumbers for a washer box outlet box leak online via the BBB. Butler Heating & AC responded timely & I was able to schedule an appointment with the estimator the next day. Instead of trying to hoodwink me with an estimate for a recommended repair, the estimator corrected the problem in less than two minutes by tightening a “packing nut.” In addition to exposing my ignorance of simple pipe fitting, the estimator showed competence & honesty, & generated a lot of Goodwill solving my simple, but disruptive, problem. For my next plumbing problem, I’ll definitely remember to contact Butler Heating & AC.Butler Heating and Air Conditioning
