Poorly run institution. Instructors were great, management including directors were unpleasant to discuss important matters with and unhelpful, not to mention poorly unorganized and unprofessional.

Awful manicure service .I had gel manicure and before I arrived home the gel came off in full pieces off my nails. The lady that did the manicure said she was graduating the next day.I complained to company and was told they would do my manicure over the next timeI came in.I was told by ****** she scheduled my manicure after my facial on June 6 2023 after my facial was over at 9:30 am.After my facial I went to manicure part of school and no one was at desk.I rang bell and no one came.I walked back through hallway and there was a class. The one lady said she remembered me but it was class day and I couldn’t get manicure until 1:30 pm.That was 3 hours away.I tried to contact manager, and******.I left voicemails but no one returned my calls.I paid for a gel manicure for myself and my daughter and it was a shabby job.I won’t go back I don’t patronize at places that don’t make their wrongs right

This school needs to be shut down & I feel strongly in exposing what is truly going on at that school to prevent others from having to go through such an awful experience. Thankfully they had their FA License revoked due to violations & it may take them 18-24 months before they are eligible to offer it again. That is why they cut the cost down 50%. Hopefully this was a wakeup call for them on how terrible of an establishment they have been running and it force feeds them to do the right thing instead of literally robbing people of their education. Please be aware that it is taking MA months to get people their paperwork which prevents them from being able to get their License or apply for a work permit. It is 6/15 and there are students that graduated approximately 3/20 that STILL don't have their paperwork. The school can't keep staff & the teachers that do have work double shifts, so by the time night class rolls around, the teachers are drained and don't teach. The last 5 months that we were in school, it was a self-taught study hall. State board told us in a site visit that we should be HANDS ON practicing with the teacher & when they came back and asked if we had been practicing, the teacher said we had been which was a complete lie. They claim that you learn your craft in the field and that they are there to help prepare you for state boards but they literally DO NOT. My class practiced ONE time. They told us to practice extractions on our 1st day in lab w/o even showing us the proper way. When we were on the clinic floor for the last 5 months, not one single time did a teacher come into the treatment rooms to help guide you with skin analysis or anything at all. I encourage current/former students to write reviews on their experiences with full transparency so that you help others not have to go through what we did. Anyone that attended in 2022 or prior should be compensated for being robbed of their education and I am surprised there are no lawsuits yet.

Oh, where do I begin? There’s an awful amount of things I can reveal about this illegitimate institution. Let’s begin with the owner, ******* ********. Very unfitting, unpleasant & extremely unprofessional. She will walk right past the students in her institution & will not so much as speak! She is wickedly dishonest. She will tell lies & her school director ***** ******** is right under her belt doing the same thing! Her favorite line to tell students & staff “I can do what I want, this is my school.” Please keep in mind, the owner has NO PASSION for the beauty industry or for educating .. this is strictly about $ for *******. Which is why this “school” cannot keep employees. They all end up quitting & the students are left w/ no instructor. This school is ran terribly & disorganized & no one knows anything!!! You will be teaching yourself. The instructors barely know anything & they all pass out wrong information leaving the students confused & uneducated & there’s nothing the owner can do nor is she willing to do anything bc she’s not educated in the beauty industry & she literally doesn’t care as long as she gets paid. I’m honestly surprised State board hasn’t shut this school down..which will prob happen as Karma for all the wrong this school has done to their students.. and their wax pots are filthy along w/ other things. Mason Anthony is biased ! They work against women of color! & will do anything in their power to make sure African Americans fail. They DO NOT prepare you properly for state board & the kits are cheap!!!!!!!!!! PLEASE THINK CAREFULLY BEFORE ATTENDING THIS INSTITUTION. It is in fact a scam & they work as con artist. THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT THEIR STUDENTS! I’m also surprised there’s no class action suit against them w/ all the horrible stories I hear from former students.

I was so excited to go to this school only to be horribly let down. I was in the first class they moved in to their new building in ***********. The building wasnt finished, girls were electrocuted by outlets dangling from the manicure tables by wires. We were sprayed with water by pipes from the ceiling that they fixed with duct tape. They lied about our schedules. I am a part time, supposed to be T-F from 9-3 for a total of 22 hours a week. They put the part time with the full time, so the first day of school they dropped an extra 5.5 hours of distance learning a week on us to keep us caught up with the full time class. The full time class wasnt made aware that the last 2 hours of their day was nothing but a study hall. The teacher isnt allowed to teach them anything after 3 because part time students are gone. We were told we would be working on clients, that we would build a clientele base that would most likely follow us when we graduated. That was a lie. The building they put us in isnt finished so we cant see clients. They wont provide us with the proper supplies we need to learn. We didnt have gel lamps or electric files for a month. We never had enough basic supplies like alcohol, acetone, lotion, disinfectant, towels, gloves, basically everything. We have barely had any practice in acrylic because they rarely let us downstairs due to construction. The owners refuse to respond to us. Our teachers have fought for us. Director *************************** walked out and quit this week because of how horribly the school is run. This school doesnt care about its students or their futures, they just want your money and they want you to go away. Stay away from this school. Please put your money towards a safer, more reliable school with higher standards.

They take your money with little teaching and a lot of drama. Instructors yelling and leaving. Walking out several times during school hours. Owner is selling buildings and her new house mysteriously burned down. Have a feeling she is closing school.
