      Ordered a pair of shoes, got charged twice. Reached out to customer service, they did nothing. I have to deal with my bank now to get the duplicate charge off my card. RIDICULOUS business practice, I would not recommend ordering from their site, and their customer service is useless.

      Never return anything by mail to DSW. I called twice for my refund and the shoes were returned over a week ago. I had to call the bank to get my money back. Do not send anything back to the ***** or by US mail! DSW will keep your shoes and the money.

      I purchased ***********, didnt fit they came in two separate boxes . When I returned I put them all in one box. They only refund me for one and the other they didnt when I called they confirmed receiving both and told me to dispute through my bank. when I submitted the dispute they denied that and claimed otherwise. Every time I call they tell me theyll call back and yet no resolution.

      6/26/2022 - DO NOT GIVE YOUR BUSINESS TO DSW. I was shopping for new comfortable work shoes during my lunch break. There was only one seat per aisle of shoes to be able to try them on. To save time, I would buy my size in the shoes and try them on at home. After I did this a few times and exchanged or returned the shoes that did not fit ( about 4 or 5 ), DSW did not allow me to return any more shoes for 2 months. They would not accept the 2 shoes i had purchased the week prior. I spoke to the manager and she said there was nothing she could do, and to call the phone number listed on the receipt. I provided the receipt with the 2 shoes i was trying to return, but they still did not accept it I've never heard of this policy before and have never had so much trouble returning something with a receipt at any other store.

      We received a card in the mail to receive $30 off any purchase over $50. They claim it is like a gift for being a good customer. When we went to the ********************** store, we found a pair of Crocs for $50 and went to check out - thinking we could use the card and purchase the shoes for $20. However, the woman at the checkout counter said that some brands were not eligible for the $30 and the Crocs would not be discounted. There was no mention of a brand exclusion anywhere on the card. Totally bogus store. We will never shop at DSW for shoes again.

      DSW is a very sneaky company.Promises for elite members "free 2day shipping" which they can not honor or have control over it. It is up to the vendors they have to honor it.DSW can not guarantee their vendors do itThey are not clear nor sincere about that on their website. When customer service is contacted , they either are clear how the 2 day shipping really works.

      I have shopped at DSW for years! I have bad feet & ALWAYS purchase shoes & wear them at home to see if they hurt my feet. If they hurt, I return them! This time I bought 3 pair of the plastic Birkenstocks, wore 1 *********** do not work for me. Tried to return 2 pair and the return was declined per the **** The *************** Act!!!! I called DSW customer service, which is Shoephoria, they couldn't help me because the shoes were bought in a store & not online! Called ***************, which is all over the ocean somewhere & can't speak good English. They basically said they couldn't help me & to go to store manager where they said they couldn't override it because they would be fired! So, if shoes are questionable, buy them online so you can return them! Otherwise you may get stuck with shoes you can't wear! So disappointed I couldn't speak to someone at DSW corporate office that I could understand and that could help me. Now DSW tracks your PERSONAL purchases & returns! The government is ALWAYS watching what you do throufh The *************** Act! Not right!
