      I had one of the most frustrating and annoying customer service experiences I've ever encountered with Huntington Bank. On April 18, 2025, at 10:35 AM, I called to request a lien release for a vehicle loan that was originally with ******* *** ****************** now handled by Huntington. I need this lien release to obtain a duplicate title and prove to the state that my loan has been paid in full.What followed was completely unacceptable. I called four times in total. Each time, I was transferred to the loan department. I explained the reason for my call, was told to hold for a moment, and then was hung up on every single timewithout any callback, resolution, or effort to assist me.Not only was this a complete waste of my time, it was also extremely frustrating and unprofessional. I am simply trying to access a basic document for a paid-off loan, and instead, I was met with disrespect, zero accountability, and no support from the representatives I spoke with.This is not how a reputable financial institution should treat people. Based on this experience, I have completely lost trust in Huntington Bank and will never do business with them again. I would strongly caution others to think twice before choosing this bank.

      I had fraud committed against me, i let them know the transaction was fraud they allowed it to go thru, they provided a number. I tried to call numerous times " recording stated due to high call volume they could not take the call" after speaking to a supervisor i come to learn it is a generic message they have no one working in the fraud department after 8pm, so if someone steals your money and you respond its fraud, there is no one there to talk to, that makes me feel real secure in them maintaining my money. Then on two seperate occassions i had a worker at the branch and one on the phone question if I was sure I did not make the purchase? Um, I would not be freaking out and stressing out if I made a $2692.24 purchase, but i replied to fraud alert I did not make this purchase, and I would not be flipping out had I, yet instead of being treated like a victim, I have been treated like I stole my own money!!!! Get out of this bank now they do not care about you or your money

      An account was closed. After removing all funds, I waited a week and called to confirm as directed. The agent on the phone confirmed that the account was closed. In fact, I requested a reversal of a $25 service fee from the last statement for a balance that slipped below the allowed amount. She said, "I can't address a fee on an account that is closed." A month later, on 4/12/25, I received a statement with a balance of $1.22. I have had many issues calling with agents who do not know what they are doing and are extremely unhelpful and rude. They asked if I had confirmation, to which I said yes, and then they requested the number. I never received written confirmation it was closed and didn't know I needed to have it. I thought a verbal confirmation with an agent over the phone was sufficient. The rude agent accused me of assuming the account was closed. My advice is to keep a journal of every call and every agent's name, as this bank is not professionally administered.

      I had gone to this location on 4/7 to deposit $718 around 8:20-8:30. During my transaction, I made sure that there were no issues with my bills before putting it in the machine, the machine took $3 and gave me the cash back and gave me option to reinsert, which I did, and did put in about $363. I then proceeded to insert the following $355 at this point heard the machine counting which seemed to be a very long time. I then looked up at the screen and it said "Your cash was not taken in time. To protect your accounts, I've pulled your cash back in. Contact your financial institution." (have time stamped photo) At this point it is 8:24pm and the number on the *** is closed. It prompted me to take my card, and I did and drove away after sitting there trying to understand where my money had gone. I looked at my account and it wasn't even a pending transaction. There was no receipt provided at all. I called the location at promptly 9am when they opened and was told to make a dispute and investigate the issue which I did, then called corporate to understand what is going on. I have called multiple times and have a RUSH on my dispute with little to no avail. I then called the branch multiple time as it just kept ringing and ringing. Finally got an answer and was advised that since I had used the far-right *** (farthest away from building) there was nothing the branch could do as a 3rd party handles the ***. Which is COMPLETELY unexpectable. So, now I'm now at the mercy of the *** for my money that was CASH in hand prior to this experience. Now I'm here with my hands tied.

      I opened a new account a few weeks ago. The week my paycheck was going into my new account, ********************** decided to close my account. I have no idea why. My paycheck ended up going to the account that got closed and now I won't get my paycheck from them until they're done with their investigation and they mail mes check.

      I deposited $1,000 in cash at their ATM on 4/3/2025. Only $900 was accepted by their ATM thats connected to their building. The *** said my transaction was unsuccessful, please call your financial institution. I immediately called and spoke to a gal about the situation who informed me that she was unable to help, connected me to customer service only to transfer me to someone overseas. Yes, they were courteous, said that they were expediting my request, provided a case number and advised I should see a temporary credit of the $900 by next business day, which would have been Friday, 4/4/25. Nope, no credit. Called Huntington back, gave them entire speech again were sorry, its.being expedited please allow 24 business hours for temporary credit. Still nothing on 4/5/25, called Huntington back, even the ******************** where it all took place. Lady I spoke with even advised that the *** directly connected to their bank malfunctions all the time. Keep being told it may take up to 10 business days before this is corrected. My husband physically went to bank yesterday, no managers at all to speak with, that was ridiculous! ***** **** and her colleague, ****** were so sweet, helpful and understanding to our frustrations, placed another expedited note on our account. As of today, 4/10/25 $900 is still not in our account! I will NEVER use their direct ATM machine again!! So highly and extremely frustrating and still no help. 10 business days for our money that their machine malfunctioned and they even admitted fault with it. Hope their review team never has to wait on any money to be able to pay bills which now have late fees due to this!! Thanks Huntington for nothing!! I would give 0 stars but as Im forced to pick them, 1 star

      They closed my account with no explanation. Now I am trying to get the money that was in my account. First they told me that it should have been here three weeks ago. Then they said to go to a branch. The branch says they can't help. Now customer service tells me it will take 6 weeks. My advice - keep your money far far from Huntington.

      I had arranged for my cognitively impaired adult child's guardian account at ********************** to receive direct deposits of her SSI benefits. She also had her own separate account at **********************. She deposited a check from a sale which unfortunately turned out to be counterfeit. We notified the bank and made a payment to cover the check.Huntington closed her account and the guardian account without notice. Her disability check is now lost in the system, and I can't reach anyone at Social Security. I must wait for Social Security to send a PIN number through snail mail just to access the web portal and make an appointment with them.She had no access to the guardian account. Guardian accounts cannot be accessed via the app or the web. ******** accounts do not have debit cards. All transactions must be done in person at a bank branch.They closed the guardian's account, claiming it was a risk because her personal account received a counterfeit check. This is blatant discrimination against individuals who require guardianship to manage their finances.
