      This is the worst company I have ever had to deal with. They will do everything they can to keep someone on their device by making up violations that states DO NOT require. I had less than 30 days to go to be done with these crooks when they made up a violation. I was 2 days over due getting my calibrated because their office was closed. Now they say I have be in it for another 180 days. And even though the DOL and Washington state patrol says they don't consider that a violation when I spoke to them. These crooks refuse send in my certificate of compliance to them, and basically holding my driver's license hostage so I have to keep paying them. Never recommend this company to anyone. Update- talked to a gentleman who was quite rude on the phone, and he proceeded lied about the DOL policy's were and what they can do to over turn the violation. ( which again was their fault that their office was close and I wasn't able to get my device calibrated.). Then he tried to state the that office wasn't closed and implied I was lying and somehow it was my own fault, in which I told that I went down to their office and the doors were locked and no one was around. But he didn't really care about that fact and he said it was still my own fault So I'm stuck and have pay these Crooks for a for a few more months ( which is all they really care about) so I don't loose my license. But my next call is to the BBB and make a formal complaint. 2nd update- i was almost done dealing with my 2nd 180 days of no violations when the device that is installed in my vehicle fail to give me a date to be serviced and just went into lockout mode which of course put me in volition. now they're saying I have to do another 180 days and are refusing to inform the DOL that the violation is cause by equipment failure. so now I have to contact my lawyer and take it to the state to finally get their device removed for my vehicle

Satisfied customers are very important to us, as is adhering to the laws set forth by the state that requires your interlock device.

      i have never met a company that I believe is more sketchy and aware of their corruption, intentionally hiding the information to talk to the actual company and not a call center representative. I feel bad for the people who answer the phone because all of the issues that LifeSafer has caused for me has to be happening to others. They ruined my brand new car by trying to cut corners installing the device and attached it to my alternator and not my battery. It almost ruined my entire car. I had to pay a lot of money to get it fixed and they have not responded to a request for reimbursement nor acknowledged their was even a problem. I contacted them via certified mail and it was returned because every address they have listed is different and finding the info for the *** and company is borderline impossible - even at the Secretary of ************** AND after personally meeting and speaking with the county clerk and recorder. Choosing LifeSafer was one of the worst decisions I made in navigating the *** process. I am still pursuing legal action although they must make their info hard to find for that very reason. Stay away from LifeSafer! Go anywhere else!

      This is the worst company imaginable! They charge exorbitant fees for every little things because they get away with it! The device wasnt working properly and gave me three violations for which I had to pay for. I dropped my car off for the re-calibration appointment before the shop opened. I called to inform them and I left the car and their voicemail was full. I got off work and they were already gone. The vendor charged me a storage fee for leaving my car overnight plus life saver stuck me with all the violation fees for THEIR DEVICE NOT REGISTERING MY CAR. This company is a complete scam and I would stay as far away as possible. Their business model should be illegal. Dont even get me started on their customer service. Its non existent to say the least. The company dont care about you. Every person you talk to seems to give you the runaround or a different answer to your question. Plus the vendors are the middle man so you cant really resolve any issue with them directly either. Absolute train wreck. DO NOT DO IT

      This company is a complete scam. Before getting this installed I asked about getting this voluntarily installed which was no issue, that being said they did say that an override code would be given to my parent for any issues or anything like that. I went to get it installed and by the next day my car battery kept getting drained and I had to jump my car EVERY single time. After getting the device installed, the shop said they were not allowed to give an override code which is the first thing they lied about. Secondly, due to my car not starting EVERY time and me having to jump it caused a report to be sent to the DMV saying a violated my terms and am trying to operate while drinking. That is not the case, the installation was wrong and my car won't start because of the device draining my battery. Customer service was beyond terrible and disrespectful. They are placing the blame on the mechanic that installed it which is by the way the one they recommended. They charged me an installation fee and refuse to get the problem fixed. They charged me already for one month and I've had it for 2 days. They refuse to reimburse me and now want to charge a removal fee. I will be filing a lawsuit so this doesn't happen to anyone else and so I can get my money back along with the lies about them telling the DMV i am in violation. Absolute scam and bulls***

      I was ordered by the state of ******* to have an IID installed in my vehicle for 6 months. I had it installed 12/8/21. I chose LifeSafer because they offered a $200 credit to start off. Good deal right? No. Shortly following my installation I started having issues with the device being that it wasnt turning off when I turn off my vehicle causing me to violate. Being that it stayed on while my vehicle was off and I was not in the vehicle, it proceeded to ask me to blow, causing me to have missed blows. Throughout the duration of these 6 months Ive switched shops once and had the handheld device replaced, a box in my dash replaced to due to some corrosion, and some tampering with the wiring done. None of which fixed my issue. Finding a way around it by turning on the vehicle again and off again to then it actually shutting off. Sometimes I wasnt mindful so it caused to continue to violate. This has happened more or less 10 times throughout the 6 months. Then having to pay for every reset, which is $58.58 to the LifeSafer and $25 to the shop. I have been complaining about it but nothing is being done. There is also a camera installed which should show me not being in the vehicle and a time frame of when it asked me to blow. I have spent almost, if not, more than double the money on this whole thing and they are refusing to actually understand the issue and are not willing to do anything about it. I think this company is a complete sham and do not recommend anyone choose them for an IID. Im looking to receive reimbursement for all the unnecessary payment because this is all due to improper installation from the first shop I went to and the second not actually removing it and installing it again. Only tweaking certain things. I would appreciate if something can be done about this. My end of program is supposed to be 6/9/22 for removal but Im afraid that something might end up changing that due to this issue and neglect. Only making pay more money and not helping.

      Avoid this company. I was required to get this device installed as a requirement of my parole after spending 5 1/2 years in prison. I chose lifesafer because they offered a free installation and it sounded like a good deal. Little did I know thats how they draw you in, then s**** you in every way they can. I was left stranded more than once at a lifesafer location that does the monthly monitoring due to the technician not being able to figure out how to do his job. The worst time i was stranded at their location for 8 hours. The employees all left and left me there and asked if i could find a way home and they would figure out how to get my car started tomorrow. I called lifesafer and got absolutely no solution and they also asked me if i could just leave my car overnight. That was completely unacceptable. And dont have car trouble because it takes 2 days to get a mechanics bypass code to get your car worked on. Now i have finally completed the rest of my sentence and discharged parole last month, so time to get this nightmare off of my vehicle. Lifesafer tells me i need an order of removal so i call my old parole officer since im off of parole now and he says they dont do that. I spoke with the supervisor of the parole office and she spoke with her supervisor, and neither one has ever heard of a removal order and theres nothing they can do for me. I didnt have this device installed as a result of a court order so the removal order apparently doesnt apply to my situation. The Lifesafer representatives apparently dont understand this and was getting the run around for about a month and they refuse to remove this device from my car. Ive paid my debt to society and my freedom has been taken for long enough and now its time for me to have my life back. So i found out it is very simple to cut this pos out of your vehicle and reconnect everything. So now im finally free haha. Now they wont accept the device back. This company is a complete nightmare. BEWARE
