    Ok put 500.00 down during a roof estimate. After feeling mislead under pressure to put money down that day or price would be more the next day I put the down payment and when I informed the salesman of filing for a home equity loan he told me he would have waited had he known that which I had mentioned I was worried that I had 3days to Change my mind after asking for a new different roof vent I was told I would hear the next day only to find out a week later the were going to charge extra for the vents so I changed my mind to have them do the job only to get calls from business owner wanting to meet and talk with me as our mind was made up he informed me if he wasn't going to do the job he wasn't going to keep my deposit.i declined to go ahead with a meeting as his salesman took 2.5 hrs to get a deposit from me and lead me on I felt so I signed a notice of cancelation as requested now I have not recieved my deposit returned after asking he said that was only if I met with the owner I felt pressured and denied.im a retired veteran on social security please assist me in this matter **

    Hired buckeye improvements to replace roof we agreed on price it was to be an Owen's Corning preferred 50 year warranty roof the day I payed for the roof I was told I would be getting warranty in mail in 2 weeks I have contacted them several times and they keep saying I'll get it to you 6 weeks later I contacted Owen's Corning warranty dept and they Have nothing on file at that you only have 2 months to apply I have no receat or invoice for this job I was also told that they took care of all permits found out they did not pull 1 for city of monroe

    We apologize for any miscommunication or delays. We have processed the warranty registration with Owens Corning, and you will receive your warranty papers in the mail in the next couple of days. We wait until all bills are received, from our suppliers, before we process the warranty to make sure all products were included. Again, I apologize for the delay. As far as the permit goes, we were not aware that one needed to be pulled. If that is the case, and you have applied for it, we will send a material list with your warranty paperwork. If you want to send us the bill, we will reimburse you. Thanks again, and I apologize for the delay.
