My mom had a vehicle that was in the process of being repaired at a repair shop and it was repossessed. The car had things that belonged to my mother, personal belongings, and one of these things being a metal box filled with pictures and other things from her 6 children that she's saved over the years. This is something that is not replaceable and is literally priceless. This company didn't even give us the chance to get our things out of the vehicle and this has left my mother heart broken because this box contains quite literally her life. I want to get it back. I am rejecting this response because:
I have not been contacted by anyone regaurding the matter and until I know that my personal belongings are safe and will be returned to me then this matter will not be resolved. I have had to spend a lot of time to get to this point, I have been emotionally devastated as well. What was taken from me on the day that the car was repossessed, was something that money can not buy, it is quite literally my whole life in a box that contains pictures and drawings and other sentimental things from my six children who now are all adults. When it was taken from me it hurt me deeply and continues to hurt. You people had no business taking my things without allowing me the opportunity to retrieve my things and I hope that you do what is right by returning them thank you

I AM KIND OF CONFUSED ON WHAT YOU ARE TALKING ABOUT. I HAD THE ACCOUNT MIXED UP WITH ANOTHER ONE THAT WE TOLD THE PEOPLE TO GO TO AUCTION FOR. IF THIS ONE IS THIS ABOUT A 2007 MERCURY *****? WE Repossessed on: 04/11/2022. Stored for 4 day(s). Release To Auction on 04/14/2022, 331 day(s) ago. THIS VEHICLE HAS BEEN OFF OUR LOT FOR QUITE SOME TIME. NO ONE HAS CALLED IN ABOUT UNIT. WE JUST GOT THIS COMPLAINT. WE NOTATE EVERYTIME WE TALK TO SOMEONE IN OUR SYSTEM. WE ONLY STORE PERSONALS FOR 30 DAYS PER OHIO STATE LAW. AFTER THAT PERSONAL PROPERTY GETS DISPOSED OF. 2/19/2023 Car was removed. Have been calling and leaving a message since. No response as of 2/21/23 If your business charges people daily, you need to respond, DAILY. Fees should not be accrued when the other party is making zero known effort to resolve the issue. If i do not here back by 2/23/23 will be reporting car stolen.Business Response

This recovery company came to get my car on Friday December 30, 2022. Since then I have called and left voicemails several times to be able to get my vehicle back. And inquire about how much the fees are going to be to this business to get my vehicle back. Nobody is ever in to answer my calls. And the voicemails I have left have not been returned. I need my vehicle and the people who work here are not helpful with making this happen and it is very frustrating and unprofessional.Business Response

CUSTOMER HAD OUR AGENTS NUMBER THE WHOLE TIME AND WAS IN CONTACT WITH OUR AGENT. OUR BUSINESS PHONE LINES HAVE BEEN DOWN AND WE HAVE OUR IT TEAM LOOKING INTO THE PHONE LINES. WE JUST GOT THE CUSTOMERS RELEASE TODAY AND WE DO HAVE 24 HOURS TO GET IT BACK TO HER BUT WE TYPICALLY GET IT BACK THE SAME DAY AS LONG AS IT'S IN THE TIME FRAME THAT OUR AGENT CAN MEET UP WITH CUSTOMER. WE DID SEND AN EMAIL TO THE CUSTOMER LETTING HER KNOW THAT WE ARE HAVING PHONE TROUBLES THAT JUST STARTED HAPPENING TODAY. SHE HAS TO GIVE US TIME TO GET IN TOUCH WITH HER. They repossessed my vehicle on November 3rd. The bill has been rectified with the finance company and the tow company, One Choice Recovery, will not return my vehicle. When they picked it up on November 3, they did not notify the local police. The police said since they did not follow proper protocol, they considered the vehicle stolen! The police left them a message so I am not sure if that was rectified. I should have been able to pick up my vehicle 24 hours ago. I have called and left messages and emailed them. They will not answer their phone or return my calls. This is unacceptable. I had no choice but to deal with them. I certainly would never have used them for anything. It is now going into the weekend and I STILL do not have my vehicle or have any contact from them. I would just like for them to call me and let me pick up my car.Business Response

The release of customers vehicle came over on 11/11/22 which was Veterans Day and we were closed. When customer emailed the BBB I responded back to her email. I got a email sent back that said it failed to send. I looked at email and she actually has the email spelled wrong at the end and it said gmil.com so I figured it was a gmail email and I resent the email and received nothing back from the customer. Even though we were closed on Friday when we got customers redemption paperwork for her car we had the agent call her on Saturday. Our business is Mon-Friday 10-4 closed on all Holidays and it states that on the voicemail when you call in. So if we are not open you will have to wait until the next business day that we are open which would have been Monday (which is today) 11/14/22 because we are not open on the weekends.
