12/27/2022 ***** ******** Called me on my Work phone number. I told the caller DO NOT EVER CALL ME AT WORK AGAIN. He told me "well pay your Bill" so basically he said he would continue to call me at work. I make very little money and have nothing extra to spare.

The work phone on your account (debt) was removed the minute you requested no work calls, long before your complaint to the BBB. We adhere to collection laws, your flawed interpretations of conversations and visions into the future are not legitimate grounds for a BBB complaint.

Bogus bill from a company I've never done business with, flagged by credit monitoring service

    Business Response

    Date: 12/19/2022

The debts in question are from ******** *** ************** ************* located in ******** *** *** ****** had services rendered on Oct 22, 2021 and Oct 25,2021 and failed to pay. The debts were placed for collections on Feb 18, 2022. Mr. ****** called our office on Mar 1, 2022 after receiving the collection notice sent on 2-23-22. He refused to pay the bills stating his health insurance should have paid and we never heard from him again until now. Clearly his complaint has major flaws, he is well aware of the debts and there is nothing bogus about it. The debts were flagged as disputed for credit reporting purposes ever since our conversation with him. They will stay marked as disputed and will continue to report to the credit bureaus until paid. Health insurance coverage is a third party and it will be up to Mr. ****** and them to resolve any issues or problems that may exist, only Mr. ****** is legally responsible for the medical bills involved here.

An outstanding charge was paid in full on Feb 12th 2022, on Feb 15th of the same year this was turned over to Fidelity Property Management for collections. This claim was placed on my credit report on July 1 of 2022 for non payment. After speaking with Fidelity Property Management they are unwilling to remove the file from my credit report, claiming that the reversal document was never received for the original biller. Having read through the previous reports and complaints on this company, this seems to be a standard practice of their business. I have contacted my attorney in hopes to get this matter resolved quickly, and not have to wait months for Fidelity Property Management to reverse the claim, thus impeding my credit. Any help you could provide would be appreciated regarding this matter. Thank You, ******* ******

Deletion letters to the credit bureaus were already mailed July 13, 2022 per the request of the medical provider ********* ******. They failed to inform Fidelity of the payment received back in Feb 2022 which resulted in the debts sitting in collections for months and eventually getting reported to the credit bureaus. ********* also failed to respond to the initial collection notice sent to him on Feb 18, 2022. If he had done so the matter could have been addressed and all problems would have been avoided. Fidelity is the one party in this scenario that did not "drop the ball". The reviews ********* has referred to are not submitted by our clients (customers) but rather by people that have debts in collections. It should come as no surprise they are not glowing with praise.

I currently have no debts pending on my credit report. I also have no bills that have been sent to my home for the amount that is mentioned. When you look up reviews for the company there is nothing but negativity and that they are a scammer. So I do not believe that I have this debt. The way the employee handled the situation on the phone is also a red flag as he was rude and yelled and completely inconsiderate. If that's how you handle business you're not going to get money from people. There is no reason to harass anyone for any reason the way that he handled it. I want an apology from the company and proof of the debt and for the way that he spoke to me it shouldn't even be attempted to be collected anymore. This is ridiculous I've never had anyone speak to me that way ever when it comes to any type of solicitor or debt collector

David ******* has had three separate debts placed with Fidelity in the last five years and we have had three conversations with him over that same timeframe, this is not something he is unaware of. Every collection notice ever sent to him has been successfully delivered according to the ** ****** *******. He called our office on July 11, 2022 and the note from our account rep states Mr ******* was both smug and nasty and refused to pay his one remaining debt owed to ***** ********* at that time. The very next day the the debt was paid in full through our website. We can only wonder who may have paid it based on the recent series of events, it's a real headscratcher. The debt in question had only been in collections since June 2, 2022 so it had not yet been reported on his credit. Reviews of Fidelity online are submitted by people with debts in collections so it should not exactly come as a surprise that they are not glowing with praise. There is no justification for an apology.
