  Worst place to ever get a car from. I purchased a Dodge Avenger and a few months later I was paying $600 for a blown heater core. They had the car for a week and it came back without hazzard lights making it illegal to drive, no heated seat warmers, and a non working cup warmer. It was also covered in grease inside. I drove it for another year and the radiator blew. I replaced it myself only to find that the entire front end was glued together with epoxy. 6 months later the engine supposedly failed. They had the car for a month and put some used engine in it and it didn't want to start. They kept calling me telling me that it was time to trade it in for something more my speed like an SUV or a truck so I did. They offered me a choice of 2 jeeps but said that a truck or SUV was out of my range. I opted for a Jeep Patriot. So far, in less than a year it has left me stranded a dozen times including in ********, **** (100 miles from home) yesterday. The engine just shuts off even on the highway doing 70 mph. It died 5 times in 24 hours in big city traffic. I had called at one point to make an appointment for service but was told that it would be a month out and at my expense. I am not willing to spend another summer walking while spending 30k on a vehicle that they KNEW had a history of stalling. It's VERY common with that Jeep. I believe that they put me in that vehicle as revenge for my BBB complaint against them. Now I am stuck paying 286 every 2 weeks for a junk Jeep that I can't even drive. I had to rent a car to go to my sons graduation next Sunday. Do not deal with these people. Next step, lawsuit against them and ****.

  I have been telling the jd byrider in ********** ********* to stop calling me ever since I was denied credit over a year ago. And here we are a year later and still getting calls emails and texts. Even after I blocked there number. So I called them and once again asked to stop being called. This idiot told me It may take over 30 days to get the calls and such to stop. Hmm I asked over a year ago so they lie and just use other means to call and text and email you. I'm sick of this c*** JUST STOP AND LEAVE ME ALONE!!!! NOW!!!!

  You'd do better borrowing the money from an ex spouse. Came in to Ashtabula, Ohio dealership because i saw a car there. "No money down" all over the web page and the dealership, nothing about conditions applying. Supersize! everyone who goes there has to have money down. Not only don't they have the car i was looking for. The idiots make me drive down to Akron in one of their cars. When I get there the car has higher mileage than the one I was looking for (the scum bags never told me it was a different car than I came in to look at). Within 2 weeks the bad battery gave up the ghost. A simple inspection before the sale would have solved that. Also they won;t do anything about the check engine light that was one when I took the car off the lot. The scum bags also want to complain for lowering the insurance coverage while I recover from surgery and the car is sitting in my driveway collecting dust. If I wanted to be harassed for a payment being 5 seconds late and petty bull I'd still be talking to the ex-wife.

  I went to the Canton location in October 2023. I put $700 and a trade into my car. I had an unauthorized charge on my bank that I was fighting (I never had direct tv and well I just moved to Canton). The CNAC finance guy (*****) was blowing up my phone while I was working. I am not allowed to have my phone behind the bar because it is a distraction away from customers and it was a policy. ***** blew my phone up for 3 days when I told him I was doing everything I possibly could to get the charge off my account to make my payment. Not only was he rude sending me text messages in ALL CAPS, he was telling me to borrow money from someone. They had my car picked up from my house when my payment was 3 days late. Mind you when I called him to let him know I was going to take possession of my car I received a different total from him that was way more than what was sent to me VIA certified mail. ***** took the liberty of going through my car and all of my contents to write down what was in my arm rest. ***** then told me he took my license plate off the car and it was with my belongings. On November 14 I messaged him to let him know I was coming in to get my things because there was NO WAY I could afford the price he told me compared to what I was mailed. ***** never answered me back. Now we had several phone calls and messages. ***** knew I had items in the trunk and said they were not going to touch them, When I get there I was handed a little office paper box. Where was all of my laundry (3 baskets and a tote of king size sheets and blankets and $120 Kobalt tool set). ***** informed me then after telling me prior my items were not being touched in the trunk that the repo company cleaned out my car and "threw" my items away. Not only did he throw away hundreds of dollars of clothes, $200 king sheet/blanket set, a $120 tool set.......he "threw" away my deceased fathers hoodie that was my sons that was going to the laundry. My license plate is nowhere to be found. Lawyers???

  I went to JD byrider in ******** ******** on December 22nd of 2022 I was in need of a vehicle to keep my job I didn't even get to pick a vehicle they choose a ***************************** $400 down I paid it with my debit card then in the contract they said I had to pay $300 for the next 5 weeks so I paid $342 for 5 weeks then my payment went to ****** then I added the truck to my insurance and I brought my payment down to ****** this is bi-weekly mind you and they were taking payments in months that has 5 weeks so I was definitely ahead I received a letter stating you need to pay the $****** by October 9th on a Monday Columbus Day my job did not pay any employee until that Thursday even if I owe the ***** my payment payments were due on Thursdays the came to my job between that night or that morning and took my truck out of the driveway where I worked. Now mind you they sent that letter saying to pay that $****** on Sept 19th the truck's been in my driveway the store here and there and why come to my job I was never so embarrassed when I went out to put my bag in the car and it was gone. So I called the guy at JD byrider 608 ********************* ******** ******** the guy said he didn't know anything about itI called back the next day and he said your truck's here I said apparently it's not my truck they came and took it out of the driveway at my place and employment so from the 9th to the 11th my payment done went from ****** to over $1,000 then a few days later my daughter picked my belongings up and it done went from $1,000 to $1,259 and they said I was only 34 days late so for a month I would have been $239 * 239 around 478 so where do they get $259 at I know they had a lawsuit in 2017 to 2019they said people up for failure they didn't even try to work with me I'm struggling to get to work and keep my job and on my credit report it doesn't even show anything being taken off their like I paid nothing to this company. I'm reported to the BBB and an attorney

  They should be shut down. Refusing to put me on payment plan because the previous ticket of repair never got paid. The manager ****** of forgot speaking with me. Their machanic *************** worked on other things that i didnt request that could of waiting, by doing so the bill went from 400 just for tires to 600. He said he would take a look into it and gave me my keys and would give me a call once it was figured. *** never called me.. months go by my car needs new alternator. Blend door actuator. Tune up. Prices it at 643.. i asked about payment plan. We usually always did, this would of made 2nd or 3 payment arrangement arrangement bt he refused. My car is been sitting on their lot im drowned in bills to pay 643 i cant do it. Ive been on the bus to keep my job and pay my rent food and untilities. The most i can pay every check rn is 100 bucks. Car been there for a whole month. Im just so sick of these careless broke businesses doing whatever they want because they know most of us do not know enough to challenge the moves they make. Im still making my car note on time while my car is on there lot. They forgot to call me and work out a payment plan for tires. I never said i wouldnt make the payment bt when i car got in they zaid they would wave old the bill of from tires and i cant get car out until 643 is payed in full. I think its wrong i think they cant legally hold my car from me if I'm caught up on my payments. They could have diagnose the vehicle and gave me an estimate of the cost pay half down payment or full amount bt to keep my car from me. Its done its fixed its been sitting for month. Not running which could cause more problems just sitting there. My side hustle was uber and door dash cant do that without my car. Don't own a bike or scooter. Things are getting rough. I want to trade my car in to someone who actually cares. These ppl dont care there upset at their own mistake and making me pay it by not putting me on payment plan waving the old bill isnt on me.

  They lie to you and sell you a car that is no where close to its actually worth.. 2012 altima with 177,541miles for 11 grand. Tell are a bogus company! Don't buy from them. They will rip you off tell you what you can and can't do with ur own vehicle. They have no right to rip people off and get away with over priced vehicles with high miles and s******d you into it for only option. Tell you one thing and promise cheap payments and ur payments are through the roof for a piece of c*** car! Never buy from them!

  If I could give zero stars I would jd has had my car since June 16th 2023 and it’s now July 3 2023 no one kept me in the loop I have called up there hundreds of times just for them to tell me a different day that they said before just exhausted because I still have to get around and having to pay for rentals Ubers and still have to pay my car note is ridiculous worst experience I’ve ever had.

  They set it up to where they take our payment A DAY BEFORE ITS ACTUALLY due, THEN SAY "they can't change the day" AND!!!!! They blocked my phone number so I can't call in my payment. I have to download internet numbers just to be able to get thru to someone. They're a joke.
