      Complaint being filed against River Link Toll collection company. River Link is attempting to collect $167.00 in tolls and fees due to what they describe as NSF fees. The issue started around December 6th. I was set up with a pre payed auto replenishing account by River Link’s customer service. I supplied River Link with my banking information needed to set up the automatic replenishing account. I was told when my account needed to be automatically replenished I would receive a text from River Link. On April 21, I happen to access my River Link account. According to my account I own $132.00 in unpaid tolls and NSF fees. I called and went to River Link’s customer service Louisville office. After River Link’s customer service was unable and unwilling to resolve my issues, I filed a dispute claim. I received a call from a River Link customer service agent on 4/30/2024 stating she would suspend all fees related to the NSF accusations, if I would agree to pay the amount owed on tolls. I asked for amount she was proposing. The agent then stated her computer was freezing and she would call me back later. After no call back, I called River Link customer service…only to be told I now owed $167.00. I do not owe River Link NSF fees. Per my bank Everwise, there has been no attempts by River link to draw funds from my account. Also my account has safeguards to protect me from overdrafts. I attempted again on 04/30 to resolve the issue with no luck. I am repeatedly told my dispute is being passed on to a higher level. But no one can tell me when someone from this higher level will be in contacting with me. Also I have never been contacted in any way (by text, email or mail) notifying me that River Link is unable to process any tolls or preload my account via by bank account. I went into River Link’s Louisville customer service office on 04/23 personally to rectify the issue, but got no cooperation from the customer service agent present that day.
