      BEWARE Bed Bath and Beyond gift card holders. BB&B will not accept your gift card!!! If you are not a subscriber, you would not have received the notification of gift cards no longer being accepted after May 8th. Your gifter has been ROBBED!! Know wonder this company is closing their doors. Its a corrupted and dishonest business!!! The money from gift cards is already in the hands of the company. To no longer accept gift cards until the store closes is considered theft. The last time I looked theft is illegal in *******! I am so angry and disappointed in BB&B!!

      ******** closing without honoring gift cards someone paid for. There was no notice of being ripped off by what was supposed to be a legitimate business. There should be a class action against these thieves.

      I know they are going out of business but it would be nice if they didn't charge the normal price for damaged goods. I purchased a 4-level metal shelf unit for my kitchen at the full price. However, when I got it, several pieces were so badly damaged that I cannot put it together. Of course, I cannot return it nor get any money back.

      They depleted giftcards. If you had giftcards and tried to use it, you're out of luck. They took funds from giftcards. Everyone is complaining how they went to use gift cards in the store or online before it was too late. Turns out in February they zeroed out any unused giftcards. You can't contact them. You're on hold as they won't answer the phone. They state you can leave your number. I was told my wait time was 6 hours and 51 minutes. Glad they're going out of business.

      No wonder theyre closing. They are thieves. I ordered something online and used some gift cards, then paid what was left. Before I placed my order, they said my total was $5.99. When I clicked place order the total was still $5.99. After I placed the order, in the confirmation email, it said they actually charged my card $10.60. Nowhere did it say that I would be charged more than what I agreed to pay when I placed the order. This is theft plain and simple.

      Today I went into Bed Bath and Beyond's so called going out of business ********** were my issues: 1. I asked the sales associate if the vacuum I was purchasing had the same specs as a competitor. They reassured me that it was the same, I asked again, because "All Sales were Final." I only went to the store because my fiance had merchandise credit and needed to use it before they closed for good. I drove an hour to my nearest Bed Bath and Beyond. Once I got home my fiance told me it was not the same vacuum at all. 2. I should have probably looked it up, but I trusted the sales associate and I just assumed a going out of business sale would most likely be a little cheaper if not a lot cheaper than stores that were not going out of business. I feel scammed, and not only by the sales associate, but just the overall experience. I hope they can make it right by compensating me for my time and money I spent with them. Beware.

      Absolutely disgraceful company and customer service. This business stole $100 from me and refuses to rectify it. I was given a $100 gift card and on 11/28 I went to use it during a Cyber sale online. I successfully loaded the gift card to my online account but when I tried to place my order, the website crashed, I never got an order confirmation, nothing was ever shipped to me, and on my order history page the order does not exist. I promptly attempted to reach out to customer service via phone/chat and was told to contact them tomorrow. I finally got in contact the next day via phone they said that the ** balance remained in full as the order was never actually placed. The sale had ended and they refused to honor the coupons I had tried to use hours before, over $300 in discounts so I opted to not re-place the order. The woman on the phone asked for proof, emailed me and within 5min I responded with the screenshots. I never received a response. I tried many times to follow up via chat phone and email and NEVER received a response or resolution. Yesterday, I received a text saying: STORE CLOSING SALE! EVERYTHING MUST GO! I went to go use the gift card at ******* ** store, who said the gift card is invalid/no balance. I showed them the email threads, screenshots and that no one from their company ever attempted to resolve my issue. I never used the **. First time I've touched it since 11/28/22 was yesterday and that should also reflect on the transaction history on both my account and on the gift card history. Since then I CANNOT get thru to customer service they refuse to answer chat phone or email or their callback option on hold. I've spent over 24 hours on hold and the 1 to 8hr wait times are BS. Now I'm out $100 and they refuse to resolve this or even RESPOND.I'm not the only one with this issue, they made EVERYONE'S gift cards invalid because they're closing. No notice to use them, nothing. That's THEFT and ILLEGAL! How are they getting away with this??

      Horrible customer service. Not going back again. I simply asked to scan my membership bar code. The lady had an attitude and wS rude, she started murmuring words and turned her back to me... so disrespectful.

      Zero stars. Started a chat with ***** about cancelling a membership. We never shop at bed Bath and beyond but there was a going out of business sale so we decided to stop in to one. Found an amazing deal on a KitchenAid mixer so we were going to get it. When we got to the counter the clerk said do you want to save another 20% on your purchase? My husband and I said sure how? The clerk said you can get a membership. So we asked about it and I asked him how much it was. He told me it was $29.99 and we werent going to do it because of the price and we never shopped there so it didnt make sense. I asked if I can cancel it and get a refund and the clerk said you can cancel it. I said can I get a refund and he said yes. So we did that. Two weeks later I tried to cancel it so they said the request has been sent to cancel it and then I asked for my refund and they said did you use it and I said well of course I used it I got the 20% off on my new purchase. And she said because it was used , we cant get a refund. So I said that doesnt make any sense we never shopped there we got 20% off the item which pretty much was the cost of the membership and we were told a lie. She just went on to say sorry we cant help you. I asked for this conversation to be escalated to have a manager come on and they said they cant do that and I said Id like a manager to call me and she said they cant do that. I need to call in. So here I am writing a review on B B, B, and nobody cares.

      Their mistake was bringing in Simply Essentials, Wild Sage, Our Table products. These brand are cheap material with high prices. We loved Wamsutta bedding and towels, Bbb should have brought them back.
