      Our HOA had a contract with 5 Star who unfortunately sold to Schindler Elevator Service, we are beyond disappointed and even distressed at the COMPLETE LACK OF APATHY they have shown for our residents. 1) Our ONLY elevator broke down on Sunday November 17th, given that we have a contract with Schindler our ********************** contacted them, I met with the technician (****) on Monday November 18th. He could not resolve the issue and stated he had to request a "troubleshooter" and would ask that our building be prioritized given that he observed the aging and somewhat mobility-challenged population and that we should call the office for *** updates. 2) November *****: ********************** diligently called and emailed DAILY repeating the urgency of restoring our elevator service, the repeated answer was that someone would "send a message" to the troubleshooter and get back to us with an ETA and that was "all they could do". Day after day no such communication was made to us regarding status and ***, meanwhile our population is either struggling up and down the stairs or held hostage in their homes because they cannot handle stairs. 3) Wednesday, November 20th I again **** on his cell and asked what could be done as the lack of this critical service was reaching an emergency level, he told me his boss would call me, that call never came but they did finally contact our management company and state they would "tentatively" schedule a troubleshooter for NEXT TUESDAY (11/26), 2 days before Thanksgiving. How is a company of this size not able to get a troubleshooter out immediately? At this point the safety and well-being of our community is at risk. Not only is our building out of compliance with *** regulations, many homeowners will not be able to enjoy Thanksgiving with their loved ones due to their mobility issues, nor will they be able to get to their loved ones in an emergency but Schindler clearly cannot be bothered with these concerns.

      Schindler failed to perform work paid for by ********** **************, as required by our annual elevator maintenance contract. The contract requires routine preventive maintenance. None was performed. The contract requires annual safety testing. No testing was done during the 12 month period. The contract for 2023 to 2024 (12 months) was paid for in advance. No inspection visits were logged into the elevator maintenance binder, nor was any elevator testing logged in. The City of Seattle has cited ********** ************** (**) for lack of elevator safety testing. Schindler (national billing office, Chicago) has billed ** once again, for the upcoming 2024 to 2025 maintenance & testing. ** has contacted Schindler's local Redmond office at least two times, recently on 8-2-24 and again on 10-28-24, with no result. ********** ************** has not paid the current invoice, and would like the work under the previous contract taken care of in advance, and an acknowledgement that the work was not done in the previous 12 months.       Contracted to have dumbwaiter repaired. It worked fine for 3-4 months then it locked up. Left numerous messages but they are not acknowledging nor returning calls. We need access to washer/dryer and it is almost impossible as my wife has recently undergone surgery for both hip and shoulder. Any assistance would be appreciated.Thank you!

      We've had the only elevator at our business inoperable since the first week of September, 2024. We contacted Schindler Elevator who came out to diagnose the problem that same week and when the problem was Identified, the required part was ordered and we were advised that we'd be contacted to complete the repair. The following week on 9/10/24 Schindler contacted us for authorization so the part could be ordered which we immediately responded to and authorized, although we were under the interpretation that the part was already on order. I followed up with Schindler on 9/24/24 and was advised the part was on order. With no further coorespondence from them they were contacted again on 10/3 and responded on 10/4 explaining that the company was trying to adjust their scheduled repairs and they'd contact us the following Monday with a date and time which they could do the repair. Again, we were under the interpretation the part was on order but found out the company was unable to make the repair before 10/16 unless we could allow them to do so after hours. I responded that we were apprehensive but would authorize overtime for our employees but an after-hours repair would need to be closer the our close-of-business hours at 3:30. We never received a confirmation or timeline of an after-hours repair which necessitated another call to the company which eventually resulted in them being scheduled for the original date provided once we learned the part had arrived and the company was scheduling. The correspondence through this company has been minimal and there has been little sense of urgency while our business remains non-ADA compliant. They have not followed through on any of their remarks and any shred of service requires multiple calls and emails to get a response. The poor service has been expressed to them continuously and their only efforts to rectify the issue has been the offer of a discount from our invoice. They've also not provided a Service-Level Agreement.

      We are a condo association with 4 elevators. We have a yearly, quarterly contract with Schindler. Our elevators are out for several weeks to several months with the excuse the parts are on order for this global company. We currently have one elevator out for over 3 weeks. We do not receive any updates from them. I have requested updates without any responses. We would appreciate your assistance as this is a perpetual problem with their service and contractual agreement.

      They don't communicate at all. It takes multiple attempts and threats for anyone to actually return a call or email. We've been fighting to get our annual fee refunded since last year at ********. They claim their accounting department is working on it. They lied and said our elevators were inspected when they weren't and had to come back out to do them because they were caught at ********. I'm just finding out at The City they never reinspected our elevators after we sent them violation notices. We even sent them a 30 day to cure and nothing. She finally responded today and claims the documents were left onsite, but they're not where she said the tech would have put them

      The elevator in my building has been out for over 10 days. I have have personally spoken with several customer service representatives and a supervisor about the issue and explained the severity of the situation regarding my situation. I am an amputee who is currently unable to use my prosthetic leg and confined to a wheelchair and live on the fourth floor. I have no way of getting down the stairs safely to leave my residence and have been trapped for over 10 days without the ability to leave my home. The repairs and even overtime to have the repairs made have been approved by my landlord since day one and still no has come to fix the elevator and we are being told every day that someone will be out there on that day to take care of the problem. They know what the problem is and have already ordered the parts the parts have already come in but yet no has come for five days since the parts have been delivered. I am now scared of what may happen to me being a senior citizen and also being disabled and unable to work, get groceries and prescriptions, have a quality life and even the well being of my safety is increasing being placed in danger each minute that goes by

      Monday July 8th I was injured in an elevator malfunction in my building. Since then, the elevator has not been fixed (keeps getting delayed by Schindler) and there is no estimated date it will be fixed. This is the ONLY means of egress by several residents of this apartment, including my significant other who needs to leave the apartment for an ultrasound and a brain MRI in Philly. His necessary medical care is now being delayed because he is unable to leave our apartment and exit the building. Other residents have missed medical appointments due to the delay and not making this repair a priority This is not the first time this has happened delaying his medical care. He has brain cancer and and had a stroke a year ago during brain surgery causing complete left sided paralysis and left him unable to speak or care for himself. This needs to be fixed. NOW. This is absolutely unacceptable and is quickly becoming a medical emergency.

      So I work at a holiday inn which has a contract with this company and our elevator has been broke for 4 weeks as of last Saturday the 29 of June, 2024. I was also **** in said elevator for roughly 30 mins. with another guest. My concern is its been too long of a problem for this elevator company not to take care of it as they are contracted to do so. Everytime a worker comes to look at this elevator, it's always some excuse not to do work on it. Always stating that it needs another part to fix it. This has gone on long enough and getting ridiculous.

      We are a hotel... the elevator in out hotel went out on June 1st 2024... it has now been 4 weeks and they have not come out and fixed our elevator, not only have we had to give thousands of dollars in discounts to people for inconvenience, we have lost 60,000$ in lost reve ue from cancelations once people find out we don't ha e functioning elevator.. not to mention our employees are having to lug hundreds of pounds of laundry up and and downstairs every day ... this is absurd we are under contract through them so we can't hire another company to fix our elevator, yet Schindler elevator Corp is refusing to fix our elevator, we have been in constant contact with them everyday through emails and phone calls and all we get is run around and NO SOLUTIONS!!.. PLEASE HELP.. we are 00 room hotel and 60,000$ in lost revenue is killing us...
