ShareFile customer service representatives make it extremely difficult to cancel. Payments are charged in advance of the service period and they will not prorate or offer any attempt at finding a solution to save or create a happy customer. No indication that my calls were ever escalated to a supervisor. Language barrier and poor line clarity make it even more frustrating to complete a conversation with them.

I'm not satisfied with ShareFile at all, we use ShareFile's RightSignature product. I have been trying since May 2024 to downgrade our plan, we're currently using only 62 of our 125 seats (license/users) and paying an obnoxious amount of money. I reached out to customer support to get this resolved, I was told to reach out to our territory manager which I did in MAY, to only have him completely ignore my request and now hasn't responded to any of my follow *** in over a month. I finally get someone to answer me today (8/16/24), only to find out that I cannot downgrade until November 2024. Very disappointed. ShareFile states the system doesn't let them make any changes between invoices (I call BS), I have to put the request in on 11/7/24 before the new billing cycle of 11/12/24. I have been trying since MAY, countless emails, phone calls (only to be put on hold for 1+hrs)..etc., if they would've taken my request at that time then I would've already been downgraded. Does ShareFile not understand the economy we're in? A business cannot spend $9K+ on unused product but maybe this is their way of continuing to make the most money off of us by making it IMPOSSIBLE to downgrade your account. I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT!

Fraudulently charged my card for a service that I notified them to not renew. Have presented several emails to them via email and chat and no resolution. Have called my card and notified them it is a fraudulent charge. I tried to do the right thing by going thru **************** and they were no help.

While they claim "Confidently share and collaborate without having to sacrifice security.", their tool by default emails the entire contents of secure notes to people with access to this folders.

Out company signed a 3 year contract in August 2022. Had been using Sharefile for countless years before. Loved the product, signed the contract. Fast forward 1 year and Citrix decides to update the ************* apps for Citrix Files (Sharefile). This new update will ONLY work if you have a paid subscription to Office 365 (to edit & save documents). ***** version of the app worked just fine without the additional subscription. Now we are stuck paying out 2 more years of this contract for an app that only works for half of what we originally purchased it to do. Citrix will say nothing more than the subscription is now required. Best part is, IF we had a subscription to Office 365 we wouldn't even need Sharefile anymore. Though there isn't a good enough reason to pay for 2 separate services. I would stay away from Sharefile!
