      On 1/22/24 I changed insurance carriers (from Dairyland to Bristol West) using Select Insurance Group as my agent. I was told that my down payment would be $279 with Bristol West. I asked to pay an additional $120 down so that my monthly payments would be lower. The $120 was shown as paid to Select Insurance while the $279 shows on my bank statement as paid to Bristol West, the insurance carrier. I have contacted Select twice by phone and three times by e-mail to ask where the $120 went and ask for a statement/invoice/receipt for that amount. I wanted to understand the charges. Phone calls are directed to the agent, who will not respond to voice mail or email. I can understand if they charge some type of additional fee, however, I can't understand why they won't provide a receipt/invoice or explanation of those charges.
