I bought a Whirlpool Refrigerator and the freezer does not keep food frozen. I called service and they scheduled a tech to come and assess. I confirmed my appointment. They called to confirm i was home. I confirmed. They said I was next stop. They then did not come and did not call. When I called to ask where the tech was they said he could not reach me. I was home all day and no contact after my confirmation. Their resolution was to not apologize or fix the situation but simply to reschedule. This is awful treatment of a customer. Why is this ok? Why do companies not do better by their customers?

I wish I could give ZERO star rating! I called on Monday morning to get a repair on my 8 month old Maytag oven that quit working on Easter eve. Long process but I got an email confirming the service person arrival time Wednesday between noon and 4PM which I did request for noon or after because I had a doctor's appt in the morning and was sure I would be home by noon. I get a call the day before saying they will arrive 11AM - 2PM. Long story short I was told the service person had the right to change it to whatever time was more convenient for them. I have NEVER made a service appt and had that applied for their convenience. What if I had a doctor appt for 10AM and when I arrived they said...Oh, we changed your appt to 9AM and you weren't here so YOU will have to reschedule. The fact the oven quit at 8 months and this CUSTOMER SERVICE???? fiasco.....I will NEVER buy another Whirlpool appliance and I will not give them good marks to my friends that ask. In fact I will tell them to run away from them like the wind!

Purchased a Maytag Range (Maytag is owned by Whirlpool Corporation) and product was delivered on 12-9-2024. The range is stainless steel, and the stainless steel is peeling off on one of the corners. When I called Whirlpool (2x) I was advised that my complaint was a cosmetic issue and that cosmetic issues are only covered for the first 30 days. I have only had this range for 4 months. I was told they could send a technician out but the service fee would be anywhere between $100.00-$150.00 and that is not including the cost to have it repaired. They offered to send me "touch up" paint. This range is 4 months old and it should not have the stainless steel peeling off. I received the "touch up" paint in the mail and the paint is WHITE, when I called them back I was told they don't make "touch up" paint for stainless steel appliances. When I asked why they sent me white paint they stated that was all they had??? This is unacceptable customer service.

I bought a washing machine and it drags my clothes under the turntable the agitator sits on. I've never seen that before. They refused to repair or replace it. Once I contacted them initially, they stopped taking my calls. The customer service rep was very rude. Poor service, poor equipment, poor customer service.

I bought an electric range, 6 mons it went out. Call to have it fixed before my warranty went out. Well no one came I Left messages and I wind up having to get extended warranty. After I got it fixed it went out again so this time I purchased a new range. Called them to get the warranty canceled and get a refund that was 4 months ago. Still waiting.

Purchased a Kitchen Aid Microwave/Air Fryer from the Kitchen Aid Website. The Air Fryer Function is very poor. It took me 8 minutes to do a toast 2 slices of bread. When I requested to return and get a refund; I was told because I toasted 2 pieces of bread, the unit was not returnable. Because it was not in new Unused condition. This is a Sham, Flimflam, and Ripoff. I am being being betrayed. I had no idea the Great KitchenAid name had become Scam Artist.WARNING - DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THEM!!

I guess I'm one of the many recent Whirlpool customers who has been duped by the shadow of what the company used to be. My washing machine stopped working after a year, 4 days after the 1 year warranty, so they agreed to send a guy to repair it, he shows up, needs to order a part. 2 weeks later he comes to fix it and it overflows causing water damage to my house. Called customer service and was stonewalled.

I bought a new Whirlpool washer and dryer back in December and the units were delivered on the 8th of January. Right out of the box the dryer made a loud rubbing sound on the side of the dryer housing! A local repairman told us that the drum had two dents in it that made the drum hit the frame! Parts were ordered for the dryer although it was under warranty and should have been replaced with a new dryer. Now we are waiting for parts which are on back order and the dryer is still defective! In the meantime, our warranty is running out and our new Whirlpool unit still doesnt work!

Whirlpool has faulty Control Panels in Wall Oven models (Model: WOS51EC0HSxx) and they have Control Lock, if any power failure happens when this lock is enabled, after power is restored, this Control Lock can't be disabled, only way to fix is to replace the entire Control Panel, which costs $649. Usually this happens after the warranty expires. This is a big scam and they are blatantly denying responsibility for this bug in their Control Panel software!!
