      This company is awesome, experienced, professional, kind and very trustworthy. I shopped radon mitigation companies. Justin took my call and answered my questions. Doug came out to the house and was above and beyond what I expected. Doug did the install for me because his field guys were in training, so I didn't have to wait. Other companies either tried to upsell me, didn't return my calls or didn't listen to my needs. PE are family run, honest, pleasant, credentialed and dependable. Best experience I have had with a company in decades. Fair pricing but I would pay more just for the easy install and comfort with them coming into my home.

      Great experience overall! The team at Protect Environmental is professional, friendly and very skilled at their job. We are completely satisfied with our radon removal system, it is a premium quality system and a great value.

      7/6/23 - I had purchased a radon detector and discovered that my basement was reading in the red at times so I knew my radon fan was dead. The fan was installed in 2002 and I have no idea when it actually died. I was able to determine the model number of my unit and started my research. I found the exact model on Amazon for $799 so I totally expected this job to approach $1,000. I reached out to a couple of local radon experts and received two quotes. One for just under $1,250 to replace with the exact model and the other from Protect Environmental for only $543 all-in!!! The actual fan Protect suggested and I chose is way more advanced than what I had. It has a much greater CFM rating and is capable of covering up to 2,000 square feet. To complicate things a bit, my finished basement framers had left only an 8” x 14” opening to address the installation of the new fan. I felt certain we would have to open up the drywall to get it done. Greg Turner at Protect Environmental did a fantastic job working with me and I was able to get sufficient photos of the old fan’s installation. We decided to not cut open the drywall just yet and wait until the install tech had a chance to look at everything. Well, the install happened today and the tech, Tony, was able to contort his arms enough to get the old fan out and the pipe prepared for the new fan. The prior fan vent was against code so the new exhaust is run just past the roof line. I’m really impressed with Greg’s honesty and eagerness to help me find the right solution. The install went great with Tony and we just need an electrician to come finish with an external cutoff, which is a code requirement. Greg even suggested a great electrician, Connor Ryan, who is coming tomorrow to finish the install for $250. I highly recommend Protect Environmental as they made this process so easy and Greg did a great job lowering my anxiety over the install. Thanks Greg and Tony!!!!

      We appreciate Greg and his team fitting us in their schedule on short notice. They were very knowledgeable and professional. The technicians explained the whole process and provided quality work. Tara the project manager was wonderful to work with as well. Really a great team and would definitely recommend to others!
