    On may 4 a dump truck threw rocks and shattered my wind shield i was attempting to call Safelite through google and somehow got Central Ky autoglass on the phone the guy assured me he could replace the glass with OEM glass and could do it next day so i approved, apparently he is out of network and i was NEVER notified this by central ky autoglass or progressive my insurance company but after the wind shield was replaced i immediately called the glass company because it was not replaced with OEM glass i was bullied and the guy tried to intimidate me but i did not back down and also called progressive to complain i then noticed my rearview mirror was cracked and a piece was broken and now had air bubbles in roof and now have leaks in the roof. Progressive will not do anything because this company was out of network- and i was never notified of that either. I just want my windshield replaced with the OEM and the damage fixed and my car returned to the shape it was in prior to CENTRAL KY AUTOGLASS replacement in May. Please help!

    Hello,

    The first time we serviced *** ****** we provided the parts and service that her insurance company (Progressive) approved to pay us for. We were unaware of her wanting an OEM Windsheild on a 10 Year old car, she really just wanted the Mercedes Emblem on the Windsheild, she didn’t care what kind it was as long as it had that. When she called and explained to us what she was wanting and needing done to keep her status up in the neighborhood I’m guessing we said ok, we have to call the insurance company back and we did. After a while on the phone and I believe 2 days later (By the way, I was making the calls for her) the insurance company finally approved.  We have since been waiting on a OEM windshield to be delivered from the factory and with all of the factory’s being behind this Windsheild was on back order for up to 10 weeks. We received an email over the weekend stating that the glas would be delivered by Wednesday to the dealership. 

    We obviously cannot make this customer happy because we cannot pull a part out of thin air and after getting notified of this complaint I explained that we would not stand in her way, we would cancel the referral that Progressive had sent to us so that she could find a more suitable shop. after doing this I was bombarded with nasty calls and texts from Ms.  Newcom. In my opinion this complaint has no merit and should be deleted!
