If you hire this “company” after reading these reviews, you’ll get what you deserve, like I did. I chose to give Wade H*** a chance, although I had read negative reviews, & I got what I deserved. This man lied to me numerous times, just like I was warned he would. His workers dumped brick removed from my chimney, in the wooded area next to my home. We’re not talking a small amount, we’re talking wheelbarrows full, and when I asked them why, they said “it’s what they do when they can”. I said it’s not bio-degradable, Wade shrugged his shoulders and said they would remove it, they didn’t. I was told, after my chimney was tore apart, I would need to pay an ADDITIONAL 850.00 for something to do with my flashing, but he wouldn’t give me a receipt showing what that was for. I will have to take him to small claims court to recover this money or a receipt. When the initial job was not completed correctly, his son had to return to complete the work I had already paid for. He was rude, and said they’d be back to pick up the 100’s of lbs of brick they dumped in the woods, they never returned. They broke my outside water spicket & told me “there’s no way” they did this. It worked fine last fall & I turned on the water flow just for them, they broke it. The mess they left behind was unbelievable. Again, hire them & you won’t be disappointed on them disappointing you!

We hired Wade H*** to install stone around a fireplace in our home. I gave him a deposit of $1900 to start the work. This was the first part of October. He told me the work would be completed by the holidays, after Thanksgiving. I contacted Mr W*** after Thanksgiving and he told me he would check his schedule and call me back. I did not hear back from him. I again texted him asking for a date. Mr W*** sent back a text stating it would be after Christmas but by the end year. I again contacted him after Christmas and was told first part of the year. I called on the 9th of January asking for my deposit to be returned. He was full of excuses and I told him this is ridiculous. I texted and sent letters on February 13th. He did sent part of the deposit back. This a pattern he seems to have. I spoke to two different stone distributors and was told by both they will not sell any material to him. Please do not make the same mistake I did hiring someone who obviously is scamming people out of money with no intention of doing any of the work. It is quite the scam to make $500 for doing nothing. Please save your money and time, stay away from Old Time Masonry. ******* *

My husband hired Wade Hall at old time masonry to do a large concrete job for 25k on 2-18-2022, and gave him a deposit of $6250.00. They were supposed to start late May 2022 according to the contract. On Aug 1st, after patiently waiting more than 2 months and hearing every excuse you can imagine from deaths and sickness in the family to emergency surgery, my husband made clear how unhappy he was with all the delays. He angrily asked my husband if he wanted to cancel the contract and promised to refund my deposit in 30 days. He even said he would send it a few days early so that it would arrive by the 1st of Sept. My husband discussed it with me and we decided to cancel. Not surprisingly on Sept. 1st., not only did we get no check but we got yet another excuse and a promise to send the check on the 9th of Sept. My husband texted him on Friday the 9th and asked if it was going out in the mail that day and Wade said “it will”. On Monday the 12th Wade called my husband with yet another excuse and said it would go out on Friday the 16th. My husband told him that he had better have the check or cash in his hand by Wed. the 14th at 3pm or else. He did give him clues as to what “or else” would entail but Wade kept arguing that it couldn’t be done before Fri the 16th. My husband said “you have until Wed. at 3pm., goodbye” and hung up the phone. Wade was very eager to pay him in cash before 3pm. Wade showed up at around 2pm with cash and told my husband that he would have to sign an agreement in order to get the cash. If he didn’t sign it, he told my husband he would have to talk to his attorney to get the money Wade owed him and agreed to pay him. Here is an exact quote from that agreement: “I agree to stop or remove any previous complaints and not make any future complaints or statements to any law enforcement, I.R.S, Better Business Bureau, on the web or any chat rooms against Wade Hall or old time Masonry whatsoever.” My husband signed it but I signed no such agreement.
