A few of the AMC gift cards ($50 total) I purchased were stolen after being stored in the AMC app (not sure if this is the sole reason but I never shared it with anyone). I talked to a customer service representative, confirmed that they were redeemed at random times (maybe at random locations too but cannot recall as it's been 6 months since I reached out), and was told to email ************************* with my purchase proof to get a replacement. 6 months later, never heard back after follow-ups. On 1/15/25, I contacted AMC at [email protected] regarding two $25 gift cards that could no longer be used on their system. AMC provides an option to have the original gift cards replaced with new ones. After not getting a response, I finally received a message on 4/3/25 stating the cards were not a gift card. The cards clearly state they are gift cards from AMC. I asked for clarification on the same day I received their message, but have had no response. I feel I have been patient and provided everything required to resolve this, but the company has been unreasonably unresponsive. Thank you for your help.Business Response

My old account with AMC movie theater under the email address **********************, Was closed out because I wanted to try a different movie theater. When I came back to AMC movie theater I had a new bank and I used my ************************ Email address for my new account. That is the email account I have been using and was using all the way up until the beginning of last month when I found out from a cashier at AMC movie theater that I didn’t have an account under ************************ Any longer and the only account I had was under my Original ********************** email account and when I tried to log into my new account, it said they didn’t recognize my email address and when I showed the cashier this at AMC movie theater and told her That my account was deactivated and they put it under my old email account and said that my payment method wasn’t working she was shocked at the fraudulent behavior well that’s because it was an old bank account, but I showed her where they had withdrawn money from my new account that supposedly wasn’t there under a card that supposedly wasn’t there And got money from that card to pay for my old account but yet it’s still not re activated even when they Withdraw the money for my old ********************** Account. They are committing fraud by stealing from my current bank card to pay for an old account that isn’t running any longer that I can't access but yet they have access to my bank info to withdraw money and steal from me without giving me anything in return. I want the last two months of my A-list stubs Membership, money returned to my bank account and if I don’t, I’m going to get a lawyer to take them to court and I’m going to open a civil suit against AMC movie theaters where they have committed this fraud against other people also then they will owe millions I guarantee itBusiness Response

AMC changed their system and older gift cards can no longer be used. At AMCs' request I emailed my name and address with photos of the front and back of the cards. I visited the AMC ***** ****** * location today specifically to watch the Laugh Along version of One of Them Days, which was advertised as including additional commentary. However, the theater only played the standard version of the movie, which I have already seen in theaters. Had I known that the advertised Laugh Along version would not be shown, I would not have purchased a ticket. This feels like false advertising, and I am very disappointed by the experience. Given that I did not receive the version of the film I paid for, I am requesting a full refund.Business Response

Hello I have 4 AMC vouchers. I can't say where I got them maybe from the AMC in disney springs or maybe the AMC by my house. But we were dining at a movie and there was some issue where the show was canceled so we accepted vouchers to come back rather than a refund. This had to have been within the past 6 months since we just moved here from Japan. A few days ago we went to go use the vouchers and it turns out they expired back in 2019! Hey amc, so this happened in 2023 and I've made several attempts to get my issue resolved this issue through twitter because its the only outlet i could see to contact you guys through. my email is ***************************** I had an issue with one of amc in 2023 and you guys sent me to tickets. i went to buy tickets to the tom cruise movie that came out in that year. only one of the ticket codes did not work so i had to purchase on of my own, i kept the email i got in contact with twitter they said the code did work it was back and forth i got exhausted. Why couldn't they just issue a new ticket and make the one that supposedly worked. Hey there,
This guest did reach back out in August of 2023 stating that their voucher did not work. We did run the voucher for them and confirmed that it was still functioning. If an order times out before a guest can complete a purchase, it does take a moment for the voucher to refresh in the system, usually within 10 minutes. Once it has, it can be used as normal. This voucher did expire in December of 2024.

Guest initially reached out to the AMC Guest Services team through X/Twitter on 7/30/2023. They requested a refund for a showtime on 7/27/2023 noting a ticket wasn't used and popcorn wasn't received. Guest was informed refunds cannot be processed after showtime. More information can be found at, **************************************************************************************. However, as a courtesy, guest was emailed 2 ticket, 2 popcorn, and 2 drink vouchers on 8/3/2023.
Guest then followed up on 8/6/2023 noting they were having trouble using one ticket voucher on a previous order. They were informed the voucher in question is still active. As mentioned previously, if an order times out before a guest can complete a purchase, it does take a moment for the voucher to refresh in the system, usually within 10 minutes. Once it has, it can be used as normal. Guest later followed up on 10/20/2023 regarding ticket voucher trouble and a photo of the voucher was requested so that the Guest Services team could review further. The guest never responded back to receive further assistance, so the resolution was abandoned. I got a 7 day free trial with the option to cancel at anytime. I looked at the movies AMC + had to offer and was not impressed so decided to cancel before they start taking money out of my account. I tried to cancel the same day I started. I have been trying to cancel for 5:days and in constant contact with customer service. Everythinv they tell me to do to cancel is missing a step.
