Called Discover to file a complaint of fraud against CarID for a 100% misrepresented sale. After 2 hours on the phone with the thieves (CarID) trying to cancel the order I got tired of being BS'd and lied to and contacted Discover Card Services. Turns out that that Discover's 'customer service' is totally skewed in favor of the vendor. They leave the customer flapping in the wind for a couple of weeks and rely solely on the response from the thieves before they act. They read me back the information from the sale and then told me there was NO transaction on my account yet. WHAT??? How could they know this information if there was NO transaction yet? BS!! CarID has my money, I will never see the product and Discover thinks they are helping me? Dicsover provided me with no case number or reference number regarding my complaint. Apparently the thieving vendors are running the show and Discover's paying customers don't mean squat. Discover has it priorities backwards and their customer satisfaction average of 1 Star (everywhere) reflects that. Now that I know how Discover dumps on their customers I will be paying it off and cancelling my account. If I ever want to be treated poorly again, I'll go visit my EX wife.

I went on a bachelorette party to ******* and rented a car through Expedia. The car rental spammed us and faked a report saying that the car is damaged. I disputed the charge and sent pictures to discover the date and time we delivered back the car. They approved the fake report over my real pictures. My money is not in safe hand!!!

Discover temporarily shut off my card until I get a notarized document for my **. So I went to my bank and got a notarized copy and submitted it. But no notaries in ** have an ** number because its not legally required. Discover refused the legal document and said I have to go all the way to ******* to get it verified with the ** number because they wouldnt accept that ** law is different for notaries. ******* is a 4 hour drive there and 4 hour drive back. And the only reason they have **s for their notaries is because they share a boarder with different states. Ive never had to jump through ridiculous hoops before for verification and no one that I know has had to do it before either!

I opened a secured card January 2019 which was about $400, then in August of 2019 I had to get emergency surgery ended up being out of work for 2 months & maxed out my card. Im not new to collections so I know I can ask to settle an account for less which for this account would make the best sense in the world because you already have $400 of my dollars but I was told I couldnt settle I had to pay the account in full then they will return my deposit. For a year in a half it was on my credit i was charged over $200 in late fees (understandable) when I was finally able to pay it off the full $624 **** April 2021 they sent me a $7 overpayment check August of 2021 and I have been getting the run around since then its MAY 2022 BBB is my last step before I contact an attorney. I hate when big companies try to rob costumers

Hello thanks bae have been talking with them for the past week, and they can't get my **** right. Claiming that I requested a **** cycle change. Yet, I've been over my credit limit for 5 months, and they claim it can't be changed when I'm over. So which is it, am I over, and unable to change it, or did I request a change last month, and they changed it for me? The answer, they want me to make a double payment, so I'm complaining here, letting everyone know they engage in deceptive and misleading billing practices. This is very sorry, considering they already know they'll be getting my money. Stay away from Discover.

Horrible IRS verification process. Waiting over a month to use my card and they still want me to keep making payments even thought I called and they said I have done everything I need to do.

I didnt even want to select one star this company is not worthy enough to even have one star! Im so upset with the way Discover conducts their business especially customer service. I applied for a credit card and my credit limit was $300 , I got that card to build my credit . I did an electronic funds payment for the security deposit of $300 and during the first three months , my credit was starting to look good I applied with my bank for an unsecured credit card and was approved for $**** credit limit . I hardly even used my discover card anyways I was told that after paying on time and about 6 months later discover will review my account and return my security deposit and I can request a credit limit increase . Well , that is just not true ! They are just a very bad business period! I was denied an increase and I was not I fitted that they are going to send my deposit back . So I paid my balance off in February and cancelled my account , it is now May and I have not received my security deposit . This is not good at all! I also had applied for three other unsecured credit cards with other companies and all approved with ****, ****, **** credit limit , discover sucks! Dont apply with them , they suck! Oh and not to mention during my active account there was an unauthorized charge for ***** on my account so I reported it , they did investigate this and reversed the charge but then it happened again the following month for the same amount and I had to call and explain this all over again to take care of this charge remember my limit is 300 so basically $ ***** charged leaves me with $ for lunch ! Ridiculous!
