      On May 30th I called MI&T in regards to some black mold that has been growing in my bathroom. I let them know that the mold has been growing for about three years & when I call my apartment they just come and spray paint/ seal over the mold instead of removing it. MI&T told me they would send someone out to come and test the black mold in my bathroom.On June 1 2024 at 10am MI&T sent an inspector **** to my house. I informed him just as I informed the lady who scheduled the appointment. When he came in I walked him straight into bathroom and I showed him the mold, I let him know what was going on as far as it being built up for about three years. He told me it looked like surface mold, but I let him know that the maintenance from my apartment came in a spray-painted/ sealed it, so it doesnt look as bad as it would look.He spent about 7 minutes in my bathroom about 7 minutes in my living room and about 7 minutes on the balcony. I paid him $375 and he let me know that I should be receiving the results from the test before that following Monday (June 3rd, 2024)I got the results back and he explained to me that there was nothing to be worried about all I needed to do was a vinegar wash on the bathroom ceiling. I still continue to not feel well especially When I enter my bathroom. Before I did the vinegar wash, I reached out to MI&T to see if they could send someone out again and get a second opinion. I have mold, growing in my vents, its hard to believe a vinegar wash would fix that When I called on June 8th 2024. I spoke to lady named *****, who informed me that the inspector they sent out on June 1 did not in fact test the mold inside of my bathroom. He tested in my living room. Which in my living room I dont have mold. I have been told that if I want to have inspection done again in my bathroom would have to pay $375 again as well I cannot receive a refund ? I originally paid for the bathroom to be tested, so why was the bathroom not tested?

      I had an appointment for mold testing November 27th. To which I received a call that the inspector called out and I would need to reschedule. I agreed to reschedule for That friday. December 1st at 10am. *** the inspector did not show, so I emailed and called the company. The woman called *** and called me back stating he said he called me and that we agreed to 10:30am. I explained I never received a call or spoke with him, but that I would wait till 10:30am for him. I waited till well after 10:30am for him and he never called or showed up. This is Completely unprofessional. I Wouldn't recommend this company.

      On first week of August I called MI&T inspections and testing, I requested a Mold inspection in my crawl space and the interior of my home after being assured they handle that, they sent "inspector" ******************* on 8/8/22 he informed me he can do the inside of the home BUT he does not go into crawl spaces , I explained the issue with him and he stated for me to call the office and they can schedule someone else to come out, after finding out that we have more mold inside than outside I called a restoration company they advised I should have the other areas tested that weren't , I was told by **** if we did it in 30 days they would honor the $75 per room additional test which is on top of the $425 because **** didn't see the need to do the other rooms while he was out there , although the labs had not even been sent in yet , I trusted these words , when I called back to have them come back **** denied he said this to me and told his office he will not come back to do the proper testing because it's to far to drive and he "doesn't go into crawl spaces" even though he is supposed to, I reached out on 9/7/22 and spoke with *** she offered to either refund or send another inspector out to complete the job and I agreed I would pay the $75 per room or have my crawl space done , she stated on tape she would call me back the next day to schedule someone, I never heard back, I called 6 times leaving a message and told she would call me , finally after a week I called on 9/15 and *** stated she is still looking for someone to come out , I just told her to give me a refund or call me back in 15 minutes with a scheduled inspector , she has not and I believe they are just hoping to take the donation of $425 and not complete what I was told would be done , this is unacceptable from any business
