My car was hit by a car insured by State Farm on 4/5/2025. I filed a claim with State Farm on 4/8/2025. I had a telephone interview with State Farm agen* ********* **** in which I explained events. Ms. **** said she would contact the insured party to get their statement before proceeding with the claim. I called back on 4/18/2025 after hearing nothing from State Farm. Ms. **** said she was reaching out for the third time that day and would call me afterwards; she said it was company policy to give the insured 3 chances to respond, and after that she would determine liability even if they hadn't responded. I again heard nothing back and called again on 4/21/2025. Ms. **** treated me rudely, cutting me off and talking over me. She said her supervisor told her to give the insured another chance, but would not say when she would contact them, what the next steps would be, or how long it would take. She refused to connect me to her supervisor and snapped at me that she wasn't talking over me, WHILE ACTUALLY TALKING OVER ME. State Farm has failed in their obligation to pay for repairs on my car and Ms. **** has failed to perform her job. I can't believe someone as rude and ineffective as her is still employed. I want my claim transferred to a new agent who will finish the job.

***** ********* is committing illegal marketing practices. A few months ago, he started sending me marketing letters to my in-law's address. I have no association to their address, and they have become very upset I have mail coming to their home. I called their office to have me removed from the mailing list and they still keep sending letters. I ask that they remove me now or I have to take legal action.

On Wed., Jan. 8th, 2020 I changed my car insurance from full coverage to liability. On Tues., Jun 25th, 2024 received a call from *** ***** Insurance with a phone quote for my full coverage and I told the lady that I will take down information and present that to my agent to see if she can give me the same quote and then I will make my decision to let *** ***** know.- that day or at the end of the week but she told me she needed to know by tomorrow. So I called my agent Mrs. ******* * ****** and told her and we talked over the phone first but then Barbara suggested I come into her office which I did to show me her quotes. She showed me liability, renters, comprehensive and collision and what I would be paying monthly. I also told her that her quotes were way better than *** *****s that I will take her quotes so when she printed the papers for me that is when I believe I was covered in full. I am not an insurance agent that understands how insurance works that is why I place my trust in a fully licensed and trained insurance agent.

      Customer Answer

My complaint is with fully trained insurance agent Mrs. ******* ** ****** at this location State Farm, **** ****** ******* **** **** ********* *** ****** that understands how insurance works which I am not an agent that knows nothing about insurance. The attachments are quotes that she had given me for full coverage that I thought she changed my coverage for my vehicle from liability to full coverage which turned out to be no full coverage but she applied only liability to my policy. She took it upon herself to not change my policy, Why?, I have no clue. If you trust  your insurance company who gives you the same quotes or lower quotes you take it.  You wouldn't say I will get back with you. That makes no sense to me at all. I told her that is what I was looking to do anyway. A good agent would have listened and even asked to make sure but she took it upon herself to put what she heard or wanted to hear. I have been a great client. I have been dealing with State Farm for years in a different location and never in my life time have I ever had a bad experience except now due to this one agent didn't listen to me nor does she return your phone calls in one day or even have her assistant or someone call to tell you that she will get back to you later today or the next day and sometimes that doesn't happen.

      Customer Answer

Complaint# ********, I received three phone calls this morning about my complaint which they keep telling me on the day of Feb. 23rd you had no collision coverage and denied my claim. They called me at 8:44 am, 10:04 am and 10:34 am. The company is still not looking at the year 2024, on June 25 when the agent & I verbally talked in her office about full coverage of the policy and she is denying it, I don't take it lightly when someone is lying about me at all. If she would have told the truth I would have never contacted anyone. I would have taken care of my business and went on my merry way.

On February 25 2025 I called to reinstate my insurance with state farm. I was needing to get my vehicle registration done and could not get it without the car being insured. I called at 9am to get the coverage and I made it clear to the agent the reason I was getting the coverage. Made sure that when she sent over my temp card I could use that to show proof of coverage and that the policy was indeed active and I was told yes. On my way to get this taken care of I had a tire blow out. this was the first time I had ever experienced this. I did lose control but was able to safely pull over. A lady stopped to help me pick pieces of my car out of the street. she seen I was shaken up she stayed with me while I called a tow and my friend for a ride home from her phone. When I filed my claim a *** **** ********* called me to let me know she was handling my claim.Asked me if I called the police & did I take pictures, I said no at the time I was shaken up and didn't know I needed to call for a tire blow out and I was using the phone of someone who stopped to help. She asked for the friend who came to pick me up I gave it she asked for the transaction proving I paid for the tow I gave that She asked for the call log showing I called the tow and my friend for a ride I told her I used someone phone who helped me She then told she will get information my a black box from to prove the timing of everything that was never done the car is a statefarm repair shop where pictures can be taken that was never done. She then proceeded to treat as a liar and criminal and told me the claim is denied because there is no call log and my car has been at the repair shop for OVER A MONTH NOW then she says the policy wasn't active right away after I was told by the agent that it was and I was able to get my registration taken care of. She continues to tell me that I fail to provide something I dont have access to which is the persons phone that helped me and to let her know when I get the call log

I was involved in a car accident where the other party was found to be at fault. They only had $5,000 coverage for property damage claims so I was forced to go through my own insurance company. My vehicle was in excellent condition prior to the accident and it had never been in any other collisions. The body shop I took it to measured that the truck bed shifted .8 inches from the frame. The body shop submitted a supplement to State Farm requesting permission to remove the truck bed in order to inspect the issue further. At one point, the body shop's communications with State Farm and my attorney went ignored for roughly two weeks. State Farm denied the supplement and refused to send a representative to view the vehicle. State Farm claimed that the burden was on me to prove that the accident was the cause of the truck bed shift, which is nearly impossible to prove.

Claim agent ****** ******** told me that due to my basement flooding (knowing roots were the issue from day one) told me I could be compensated for damages up to $19500. After working together for quite some time he informed me they would deny my claim due my issue being caused by roots. He knew day one it would be denied and let me spend thousands repairing my home out of pocket thinking they would assist with some of the damages.

I called for State Farm in ********* ******* for a homeowners insurance quote November 2024 for our rental single family home in ********* *******. After they reviewed us, we were denied insurance as we had a homeowners claim for roof replacement with **** in 2023. Ever since then 12/27/2024, 1/29/2025, 2/21/2025 and 3/20/2025 we have been sent a bill to pay for insurance. I have called them after each bill and they say, "we will take care of this, I see you have no insurance with us". But, then the next month I get another bill. I believe this is fraudulent billing. We have never had insurance with this company, I believe they will place this bill with a claims collector and ruin our credit if we fail to pay.

The last time I talked to the adjuster I told him the current check they have sent us and future checks, need to have our old mortgage company's name removed (mortgage got transferred during the process) and have the new mortgage company's name put on the checks. The claims adjuster told me this is not possible, and also stated the claims manager confirmed. I have ben ghosted since. There is no way to talk to someone in corporate and every time I call the corporate number I get routed back to my adjuster who doesnt call back. I don't know what to do.
