On April 8th, 2025 at 12:15 I pulled up to 15 minute parking to pick my dog up from grooming at *********************. Less than 15 minutes later, I walked out to see my car was booted by Advanced Booting Services. When I approached the man who I assumed was responsible for the booting, he was taking out more boots from his personal car and was not wearing any type of identification or uniform. He informed me my car had been there for an hour, to which I replied that it had not need. Then, he informed me that the limit was 15 minutes, to which I said I hadnt even been there 15 minutes. He told me I was wrong and that I had to pay. Upon being forced to pay, the receipt states time which is filled in as 123 either meaning 124 minutes- which is not true or 12:30 which means I was only parked for 15 minutes. The representative also wrote his name in illegible hand writing, and failed to have me sign the card holder agreement- which I would not have agreed to anyways. Overall, this company and their representative failed to let me know how long my car was parked (which was under 15 minutes) and forced me to pay or linger beside my car in an unsafe area. I am disputing the charge and asking for this company to please inform those who receive any future tickets with time stamps. I have attached my ticket along with an invoice payed at 12:15 further proving that I walked in at 12:15 to pick up my dog.

02/08/2025 parked my car with handicap plaque in handicap space at ********* located at ***************************** and came inside. Paid for my venti hot chocolate. Left for about 3 min to say hi to someone and came back inside to sit and enjoy the Wi-Fi and my hot chocolate. Meanwhile, a booting company booted my car while I was inside and said because I left for a few minutes, they booted my car. There are no signs stating I cannot park in the handicap spot with my handicap tags, Go inside, sit leave and come back and get a boot on my car.

This company booted me at my residence for parking in the same spot that I always do. This was completely unnecessary as the spot is not reserved or paid for by anyone so if it was truly wrong to park there it could have been moved instead of making me late to work and charging me $75 for parking at my home.

I am writing to file a formal complaint against Advanced Booting Services regarding an incident that occurred on 12/27/24 when a boot was placed on my vehicle without justification. On the mentioned date, I parked my vehicle in a parking lot for ********* and Truist customers. I was going to *********, but needed to go in the Dollar General across the street as well. I was visiting from out of town so I decided to go in Dollar General first. When I returned to place my items in the car before going into *********, a boot was placed on my vehicle by Advanced Booting Services causing significant inconvenience and distress. Upon noticing the boot, I immediately called over to the worker and explained to him that I was going to *********, but needed to purchase items from ** first. He stated that the parking lot was for ********* customers only. You couldnt visit another location even if you patronized the *********. I asked to speak with the owner and he said that I could call but he was an *******, so it would do me no good. He was right. I was required to pay $75 to have the boot removed. The worker literally sat in his car and watched me go into the DG and booted my car. I was only in the store for 5 minutes. This action was unjustified because I was actually going to *********. This incident not only caused me financial loss but inconvenience. I believe this is predatory and unethical, and I am seeking resolution through the Better Business Bureau.Thank you for your time and attention to this matter. I hope the BBB can assist in resolving this issue promptly. Please feel free to contact me if further information is needed.Sincerely,***** ********

On Wednesday 11/6/24 at 7:00 PM I parked in a parking lot adjacent to a restaurant where I was meeting some dinner friends. There was a machine to pay for parking and a man who walked toward me telling me to use the ** code to pay. I heard a report several months ago that ** code scams were prolific in *******, where I was, so I opted for the machine. I paid $15.40 at the machine for 2 hours at 7:00 pm. Near 9 ******* I left my dinner guests early and found my car had been booted. *****, the Advanced Booting Services employee, informed me that it would cost $75 to remove the boot. I explained to ***** that I had paid the machine and he told me that I had been rude by not listening to him earlier. ***** said that the machine that I had paid was for a separate lot, even though it was clearly in the same lot where I parked. ***** said he booted my car about 15 minutes after I had parked. The police were called but it was near 10 PM and they hadn't arrived. I paid the $75 so that I could go home. I saw that this had also happened to a number of other patrons in the parking lot.I filed a dispute through **************************** and received the following response:Parking sessions are required at all times at this location. No parking session was recorded for this vehicle at the time of the parking lot audit and boot attachment. Without a valid parking session at the time of the audit, we will not be able to refund the charges.Thank you,Advanced Booting Services I am seeking a refund of $75 please.

This company works along side a co conspirator that boots cars and then strong arm you to pay for the boot to be removed. I showed my receipt that had active parking on it and he said I would have to deal with the company while the boot was placed on inaccurately by him. They lack professionalism and are extremely nasty and dont have anyone in management to speak to. When I tried to call to explain the situation he said ***** that I dont care about your feelings just pay the money and go on your way.

I strongly believe any parking lot that allows this booting service to operate within their lots...needs to have explicit signage warning of the $75 boots for simply just parking on or over parking space lines. It's unfair hustling tactics. I used a lot two days in a row because I was happy with the service after my first experience. The second day... The lot was full and in fact... The row I parked in... The majority of the vehicles were parked over lines. It's why I parked the way I did but I fit still perfectly between the two vehicles. You think if there was signage sharing it being a violation... That there would be practically a whole row parked that way to begin with? Of course not. There were other cars (I believe 4) hit with the same tactics but ironically... The new SVU parked to my right that was over their lines... Didn't have a boot. I stayed in the parking lot an hour after it was removed and that vehicle was not touched. I get the hustle but darn... Have some morals. A punishment shouldn't be used that way if it's not warned first. I see lack of action and communications from this company on other complaints so not expecting a reply to all but you guys should know you aren't going to be allowed to use these shady tactics forever.

I paid for parking at a parking deck & was texted a link showing I had valid parking until 4:41. I come back to my car at 4:31 to find it booted. I told the guy he made a mistake but instead was rude, condescending, and refused to hear me out or even consider ny evidence against him. He would not back down until I finally gave in and was like Fine. I will shut up and pay and then his tune changed quickly. There was clearly no point to paying originally since I was booted anyways, and this is predatory parking practices. I have a screenshot of my parking validation and a call record of me calling the company to get my boot off before my time was up. I paid $5.75 to park and $75.60 to get a wrongful boot removed. After paying originally the link I paid on & was the one provided by the parking deck allowed me to add two more hours free on top of that. They clearly must get commission or something off the boots they do, because he was NOT backing down.
