I was charged twice for ONE ticket purchase at ********************** 16 - *********************************** on 7/29/2024 12:11:41 PM. When I attempted to make my first purchase at the automated kiosk the transaction went through without ever giving me a ticket, thus forcing me to go to the help desk where I was told by an employee to make another attempt to buy the ticket there a few minutes later. This employee also ADMITTED that their kiosk's are not reliable and to make the purchase at the help desk because quote "its more reliable here." ****** is aware of this issue with their kiosks double charging for a single purchase. I've been trying to resolve this since July, now September and no one has gotten back to me on this matter for a refund. I will be contacting my attorney if this cannot be resolved by **** I have tried getting a refund through ***** email and have not gotten any assistance.Initial Complaint

I dropped my grandkids off to watch Inside Out 2 , 5pm showing. Ages, 14 & 10 yrs old. I stayed to watch them get the barcode scanned & to hand me my cell back after entry. My fiance and I parted to walk around ********* (we are annual pass holders and live in ***********/Walking distance) All took place in front of the red haired ticket lady so she scanned the barcode, stood by watching as my grandson handed cell phone back. Within 5-10 minutes of start of the previews. the kids said the same, the same lady, and a security personal, came & removed the children, saying they were in the wrong seats & to show proof of purchase! harassment! the lady had literally just seen us,was it because they were biracial children? My 10 yr old granddaughter was crying, scared, felt harassed and afraid. I took my them to watch ******************** last week at the same theater, no one was asking for proof of purchase, I feel the children were singled out for no other reason than race what else would be the reason to remove children , put them outside with strangers to be kidnapped ect! We expected them to be done with the movie @ 6:36pm per the running time noted. They had to call family for help, kids never saw the movie, manager on shift was rude, not a parent, or grandparent ( I asked), refused to refund admitted unwatched film. Non chalant attitude,towards the situation of putting minors outside of a PG movie when they had paid tickets scanned by same staff that came with security to put them out when parents standing by when ticket scanned and cell handed back, EMBARRASSING CHILDREN , CAUSING EMOTIONAL DISTRESS, AND CHILD NEGLECT, PUTTING KIDS OUT INTO A SWAMP OF STRANGERS! To whom it may concern: I saw an advertisement about a 30 day free trail with *** +Less than a week later, an attempted charge was made to my debit card from *** +. When contacting them through their website email support, I was told it was only a week trial. I told them there as a code that their website did not allow me to enter. Then I emailed and told them to cancel my account. I am not able to cancel my account in the App or website. It has been less than two weeks and there has been 3 attempted charges from them. I have repeatedly emailed the support team and told them to stop trying to access my debit card funds and they apologize, but do not stop it. They will not allow me to remove my debit card from the account. They will not allow me to cancel the account. I have never seen a business operate in this manner. I have an A-List subscription at **** which should allow me to see three films a week when working properly. Unfortunately, it rarely is and I am often charged for tickets that I cannot use. The app has multiple problems preventing me from using the service I pay for, and the company has ZERO customer service. They removes the phone option and I have emailed no less than 6 times without ever receiving a response. They literally just dont care. They take your money even when it doesnt work and nobody is available to offer refunds of any kind. This is not only bad business, it cant be legal to steal from customers. If I pay for something, I expect to be able to use/get it. If not, there should be steps to resolve the problem instead of greedily continuing to charge customers and doing absolutely nothing about errors that cost them unnecessarily. I hate this company so much. How hard is it to have some form of customer support, even if it isnt immediate. Im convinced nobody reads the customer support emails at all.Initial Complaint

My husband and I went to a movie on Friday June 26th 2024. We purchased concessions and food, but when the transaction was run the associate said they were having an issue with their POS system and it did not go through. She advised that she needed to restart the **** but that the transaction would NOT be charged, and no receipt printed, so that we would be fine to re ring in the concessions and swipe our card again. After the weekend, both charges settled on our account, resulting in us being overcharged, $80.45. Both charges cleared even though we only received the goods once, it was a duplicate charge on their part and we are now owed this money. I have made multiple attempts to contact the business via phone, phone records show over 80 attempts, and no one answers. I have emailed 4 times and no response. I am unable to physically go back to the location in person, hence why I have been trying to reach them via phone and email. The lack of response to a consumer is concerning, especially when this is something that was a system error on their behalf, now resulting in myself being owed $80.Initial Complaint

Dear BBB I tried to resolve my issues with *** but after weeks of lies and lies I decided to file my complaint I implore you to get together with FTC, FCC and al media available to work to shut these cockroach infested run down lying business out of existence I went on a date a few months ago and spent $38 plus $120 in 4 water down alcohol drinks The place here in ********* on town square needs to be put out of business it is dirty old, disgusting running of cockroaches, the popcorn looked so old we did not even try it I picked up some candy it was hard so we passed that the movie was horrible the sound, the seats What is worse I contacted them they lied several times on ******* X saying I was going to get a voucher I demand a refund.Initial Complaint

Me and my two kids went to the movies and after paying at the theater and taking out seats, we saw that there was a rat running around under the seats. We left the theater and we weren't able to find anyone on our way out to report this to. The establishment was very vacant.I reached out to *** to try and get my money back. I had purchased two tickets for the ******************* show a few months ago. I called the day before in attempt to inform the customer service rep that I would need to r/s the movie due to a medical emergency. Nobody answered. Left voicemails without a return call. Finally I decided to walk into the theatre to speak with someone. The young man (curly hair, tan skin) at the service counter asked alot of questions and informing me that I couldn't have possibly purchased the tickets for ******************* as "it's been out of the movies for awhile." Asked him if he could look up my tickets and opt for a different movie since ******************* was no longer playing. He informed me that I should have called in advance and I informed him that I did but that ***** answered. He said that's impossible because he is always at that counter (though he wasn't at the desk when I arrived and had to be contacted by the ticket agent to come to the service counter. He told me that he can't book me a different movie but that I could purchase new tickets. Not sure why I would have to pay for tickets that were already paid for.
