I bought a Juvederm lip filler syringe and scheduled appt on March 1 at ********* IN ideal image. I drove all the way to the location for my schedule appointment and when I arrive, the doors were locked. No one was there. I knew I had been duped. They called me later, begging me to come to the northside office, which was over an hour away and told me they could inject the filler there. I was very hesitant. I showed up for my appointment and the young injector informed me she was not trained enough to do what the website states they are able to do with Juviderm ultra XC syringe. It is used to treat the lips and per oral lines as it states on their website. The injector informs me she is not educated or trained to be able to do that. I was very nervous and do not want an unqualified injector injecting, potentially dangerous medicine into my face. I asked for a refund firstly since they were no-show on my appointment and breach our agreement and secondly, because they do not hired skilled injectors, those skilled injectors, admit that they are not trained properly, the attorney general should look into this as well. The room was also unclean with mousedroppings in the corner. I did not want to be in an unhygienic space and be traded. I am nicely asking for a refund and Ive been mocked, laughed at haunted by multiple customer service members. They keep throwing a contract in my face, but I did not sign a contract when I purchased the filler over the phone and was told they would be able to inject my lips and per oral, which is a downright lie.Business Response

I went to ideal 2 years ago unfortunately I signed up with them I regret it to this day. I got a loan out for 7,000$ and once I signed I tried to cancel it 14 days after, they told me I couldnt cancel it because it had been more then 24 hours. I did 3 sessions and stopped going for 5 months (busy with school) then I tried to make an appointment and they said my remaining sessions had expired, I complained and they gave me an extension. I finally finished paying the 7,000$ and did all of the sessions expect 1, so it expired. A month ago I realized ideal was charging me for a subscription of 250$ for a membership. I never consented to that and I only found out because I started going through my junk mail and they were going to charge me another 250$ for something I didnt even know I had! When I finished paying my 7,000$ I called ideal and I asked if I was done with my payment they told me I had payed everything in full and that they worn charge me again but they have been charging me for something I never signed up for. Very upset this is all a scam, never saw progress, customer service was terrible. Ive tried to get my money back because Im not happy with the results but its a complete fail. Ive read a lot of comments/ reviews of people who feel the same way. I told them I couldnt afford it (college student) they didnt care even though I tried to cancel it before 30 days. I purchased five treatments for *** back in 2023. I did receive three of my treatments and after that the other two I never received.The reason they had told me that I couldn't get to the other two it was because there wasn't enough nurses to do the treatment and alsothere a part for the equipment they were waiting for so I could always call and they would tell me that they're still waiting for equipment a nurse to come in from a different state. So I finally was able to get in February 2025 and five minutes into the treatment. The equipment failed and I had to wait forthat to get fixed and the manager said she would put me on a cancellation list but I never received a call back. I did call again in March and they still said they were waiting for the part. So at this point, I feel like I should get a refund or get my last two treatments done.Business Response

1 star I was interested in cool sculpting and even took a loan out thru Ideal Image so I could get it done. I had no idea that you couldnt cancel that loan unless it was in 3 days from when I did the consultation etc, my appointment was well over a month away, I called about a week later because some financial situations came up to where I could not continue the loan or pay the monthly amount, (the first payment was due in a month) and my appointment was a while a way. They said theres nothing they can do and I still have to pay even though I am no longer going to receive the treatment due to financial issues. I lost my job and my medical condition is bad. Im dealing with life altering medical condition and can not afford payments. Called and explained to the Ideal financial customer service and instead she started to say there is nothing she can do. I went to Ideal Image for facial hair removal on my chin and paid $1299 for 8 session. I reported on almost every session that there was still alot of hair. On the second to last session, I reported that the hair on the chin seemed to have doubled. On the last session, I was told that I could pay for touch up if needed. I had already asked for my contract several times from the company and received a generic contract and not the one that I specifically signed. Ideal Image reports life time guarantee on their website. I paid for a service that did not work and I will not continue to pay for services if the initial treatment has not worked. The website states a lifetime guarantee and that is the reason I purchased the services. This is a very small area, if it did not work in this small area, this clearly is a scam.Business Response

I am rejecting this response because: Yesterday someone from ideal image contacted me. I told them to send me the contract I signed and after I reviewed it I would call back. Again, they sent me a contract that does not have my actual signature on it. However, after reviewing this genetic contract and briefly speaking with someone on the phone. I do not want to waste my time going in for another appointment to see if "there are other reasons why the services aren't working". They could have done this on any of the appointments where I had complained that the services weren't working. On my 5th or 6th session, the nurse took a picture of what was only a weeks worth of hair from not shaving daily and it was more than I came in with originally. No solution was offered at that time and was just told to completed services. Several times I asked for the contract they could have offered a solution. Last month when I emailed the manager at the ************** the same information I sent in to BBB but they did not email me back or offer a solution.
I don't want any more services from them especially on my face after my several complaints. The contract states there's no guarantees but on their website they state a lifetime warranty. I want a refund for the false advertisement and scam of a product.
Attached is the genetic contract that has been sent to me 3 times without my signature.

I was charged for services I did not receive. They would not offer me any type of refund. It is run like a scam when it is a serious issue to have people do medical things to your body and face. Laser has been lifechanging (in a good way) but this experience has been a true disappointment. I started laser treatments a few months before Covid (full legs, brazilian, underarm, and lip) for $8,000!!! Yes that was my responsibility for allowing myself to be persuaded even though it's not my full body and it's quite hefty- but the problem ensued after. I signed because I was told it would come with a lifetime guarantee (with "minimal fees" each time). Nominal, I thought. What happened is, after I'd say 4 or 5 treatments, Covid happened and they closed for a bit - and then they were booked and had no appointments (probably from people having to be rescheduled due to the closures) and my time was running out because they give you a period of time to get all your appointments in before you have to start using the "nominal fees" lifetime package which is how they get you. A few months ago, I noticed my hair has come back full force, so I told them that I never finished my treatments and they said they can no longer honor that but that I still have my lifetime guarantee. So for $250 or so each time, I've sucked it up and paid it. Today, I get an email that now, it would cost me upwards of $500 each time because they had to raise fees on our lifetime guarantee to "maintain proper employee training" and I am livid because for $500 I can literally go get treatments anywhere else - including multiple sessions. I feel cheated for not being given another few sessions that Covid interrupted as part of the original contract. I'll be going to a different studio now that I have to pay $500 for "lifetime guarantees." I did want to share my experience in case this helps anyone else. I'm just disappointed because it's an issue that's affecting me 5 years later.Business Response

I went to Ideal Image to get laser hair removal on my chin and neck. I was told that the hair "had pigment and was treatable". I paid for the service in full and started treatments. The process was to continue treatments on a regular basis for around 1 year, in which I did. During that time I saw NO hair reduction. I complained to the business as I paid but was not getting the results. I was wasting my time as well as theirs. I continued to follow up on my dispute for months. Eventually, they told me my hair was not treatable as it had red in it. I wish I would have known that up front. I then was not offered a refund, but instead a 'store credit' for the amount I paid. I did not go there to need or want any other service. I feel I was scammed and they should have told me my hair was not treatable due to the red hair at the consultation. When it didn't work, I should have gotten a refund of my money not a credit towards products I didn't want to begin with. Very disappointed at the whole experience and looking for my money back. Approximately a year ago I don't know the exact date because I cannot see it. I purchased a gift card for my daughter for her birthday. It was for $400 for Ideal Image. I was recently told that those gift cards expire and I could not understand why. I was not told this upon purchase. I will be honest if I was told that I'd probably would not have bought it considering I know my daughter's schedule I know how she's raising a family and she works three jobs that it would be hard for her to get in immediately. I was not told this. When I call to find out like why this was so I mean it was my harder than money that paid the $400 why would they tell me that it expired? That makes no sense. I understand if it was a gift card that I won in a contest but that is not the case. So $400 in my cash money that I paid for for a gift for my daughter is gone. I have tried several times more than several times to contact this organization to no avail. The last person I spoke to was a ***** she is out of the ************** Although I did buy the actual gift card at the tequila location. ***** promised me I'll call back in a couple days. That was a month ago probably over a month ago. I've never heard from her. I've called back twice so far and I can't seem to get in touch with her. Honestly at this point I would like my money back. If they cannot guarantee that this amount will be on the card when my daughter goes there to use it and they cannot verify it which is what she was supposed to be doing and calling me back. I want my money back. This is ridiculous. How do they have a gift card that you buy as a gift for somebody expire? Especially at that amount. I've been a long time customer with them long enough. I am rejecting this response because: that is not how the conversation went. I did not call back to ask for services for myself. That is a lie. I am flabbergasted that you would straight up lie like that. ***** you told me yes that it would take you a while to locate it but that you would call me back. I did a virtual consultation with Ideal Image in August 2024. Bought a package was set up for payment plans. When I went for the actual appointment, the information was not the same. I felt like Ive been lied to you to get me to buy the package. I talked to the manager. She apologized told her I would not be back. I was refunded my $1500 never heard anything from them again march of this year when the billing **** for them took ***** out of my account. I tried to contact Ideal Image . She said I got services there which I did not ! I tried to get her to provide me with services that she says I got there. ..She refused ! I talked to the billing department they said the manager never canceled my package like she said she would. So basically I was charged $1275 for services I never received. Never received one letter from anybody or a phone call in the seven months of the first time I went there saying I owed anything.
