      Re: Trader Joe's ******************************************** The General Manager of this store,********, followed me outside of the store and to where I was going, at my family's business. That is stalking, harassment, intimidation, and I filed a Notice of Trespass against her barring her from my mom's small business location. The next time I was in Trader Joe's, the******** came up to me again but I did not want to speak with her. She was very triggering when she followed me outside of the store and I told her to not talk to me, to have another manager speak to me if they have any questions. However she did not listen and even tried to talk over me. (When I spoke with the police about********'s stalking, I told them that I would tell her if she ever stalked me again I would pepper spray her because of her inappropriate and harassing behavior. The officers nodded in agreement and told me I was within my right to do so.) Since******** was not listening to me, we both ended up raising our voices, me telling her to simply stop talking and her talking over me. I told her if she ever followed me outside of the store I would pepper spray her, because the only place I should ever see this stranger is in Trader Joe's. Due to the yelling episode, she filed her own Notice of Trespass against me from the Trader Joe's Fairfax location.

      Trader Joe lies about their return policy. Their policy posted is "try it, don't like it, return it" so, I tried (fresh/refrigerated) items totaling a WHOPPING $10 and the item was almost completely FULL, not empty at all. I went to Trader Joe location ******************** and gathered $50+ of groceries and was seeking credit of the 2 items I tried but did not like. When I got to the register, the cashier called ******* over who claimed to be the stores main manager which she is not. ******* REFUSED to allow me the return because the items were expired by a few days, which can happen because fresh items normally don't have a long shelf life and sometimes you cant get back same/next day. ******* proceeded to embarrass, debate and humiliate me at the register and around others. I asked for the main manager who's name is ****** and she confirmed that ******* could have just allowed the return and she would speak to her. On 5/31/22: 11:00AM I called Trader Joe's corporate office at ************** just to get clarification on what the true policy is and a very rude person named ***** at corporate confirmed that it's the same as posted "try and if you don't like, return), but also said that the manager could refuse the return but would not elaborate. When I asked her under what circumstances and why these circumstances are not posted, she said she would not clarify, get involved or pass along any feedback, she just kept on cutting me off. I explained that my complaint was not just about the right of refusal of the return and you should at least pass the feedback and she refused. I tried to resolve at the lowest level possible but she was horrendously rude. As a last resort, I told ***** I would file a BBB complaint and ***** said, go right ahead - feel free to do that, and so here we are. Additionally, I asked ***** what her name was and when I reconfirmed I heard right, ***** said stop saying my name, and hung up! WOW Trader Joe!

      On 04/18/2022 i bought a couple items from trader joes . These items i have purchased in past from trader joes and all items in the past tasted fine. In fact fine enough for me to purchase again. This time in doing so these items made me sick, i vomited and spent hours in the bathroom. I attempted to call trader joes about this incident and they were apparently too busy to answer there phone. I then contacted my credit card company to open a dispute. I explained to ******** ********** the problem and that i did attempt to resolve with the merchant. Well the credit card company has since canceled my card without no explanation and they have asked me for information that is not even relevant to my dispute. They did not ask me for the food which i still have thats in some way contaminated but they have been asking for the receipt of the purchase. I have had 100 plus disputes and they have never asked for a receipt. Trader joes is in bed with the credit card company playing games. The purchase has never been in question. The food is whats in question nothing else. This type of shady business practice is illegal and down right deceiving. But you would also think they would want this type of feedback and information so it does not keep happening. But not if they are purposely doing this. My purchase was in the amount of 27.25. That is the refund i have coming.
