      Last month, I bought TPMS sensors for a Mercedes-Benz at Advance Auto Parts store #***** . After the sensor was installed in a tire shop, I programmed the sensor, but my dashboard is still showing the tire pressure sign. I took the car to the dealer, and I was told the tire sensor is not compatible with my Benz. The dealer installed the new tire sensor, and it was working well, so I returned the old sensor I was given by the dealer . On 04/26/2025, when I returned the tire sensor to Advance Auto Parts, store #***** at **** ******* ****** ************ **, where I bought it, the attendant that I attended to, a white lady that I brought it for , told me that the sensor I returned was not the right one and showed me the right one. I looked at the box to see the number, and I was wrong. I told her that’s what the mechanic that took the sensor out gave me. I took pictures of the right one, and as I was stepping out, I overheard the cashier telling her coworker that I tried to use it on her and that I am a thief, and immediately I told her she’s wrong. This is disrespectful. I am a veteran; $49 is nothing.

      Honestly I feel scammed and poorly mistreated. Long time customer probably not going to shop here again if not properly resolved. And will share to anyone I know my story as well. I bought an alternator from a store closing on 1/04/2025 from a store closing. The store employee must’ve been misinformed about the company’s policy because he said all sales final just meant I couldn’t return it at that store as they were shutting down. On my receipt it shows all sales final, but also says lifetime replacement under the alternator on the receipt . This alternator lasted 3 and months with a brand new battery paired to it. I returned my perfectly fine alternator to my local store for $70 core after buying the new one at $40. Just to try and save a little money and maintain my vehicle. I tested the alternator on my battery charger today when I got home because I’ve been getting a battery charging system issue warning in my truck the past few days. Went to local store with receipt that clearly says lifetime warranty for the alternator they looked it up with no luck locating warranty. Only stating to me that the system doesn’t connect with the other stores. So they had no knowledge of the company’s policy either. I chatted with a live agent who rudely disconnected the live chat after they told me the part had no warranty that they can’t do anything about it. That’s news to me, I would’ve my alternator as a spare instead of getting $70 back if I knew the new part had no warranty. Had I been correctly informed I would’ve had decided otherwise. So a discounted part that lasted 3 months, in exchange for a alternator that had plenty of life left to it I’m sure and $70 returned. Confused why lifetime warranty is labeled on the receipt if they’re not going to honor it. So I’m looking at having to get another alternator because i was completely misinformed because he was misinformed as well. Honestly disappointed that nothing can be done when LIFETIME WARRANTY is clearly on receipt

      You won't believe this! Awhile ago we needed a new battery. This weekend we went to see friends and had issues with the car not starting & needing it jumped. Come to find out today the technician put the wrong battery in our car!!! Yes it was under warranty. No they will not replace it without us needing to buy a new one being it is not the battery for our car! Are you ******** kidding me $218 for a battery when they put the wrong one in!!! They told us they could replace it with the one he put in but they don't even have it at this location or the one we ended up going to across town when this one machine didn't work to test the battery. Needless to say I am livid.

      If you’re a sales associate you’re suppose to be helping the customer and tending to them, but no. If you do not speak Spanish this store will not help you. We came to spend money for a car shop and we had questions but the woman with long hair, and chubby stated she didn’t know anything or could answer any questions that she only “worked” here, this is so unprofessional. Never again will I be coming in this disgusting store again.

      The management there is unpleasant, the bathrooms are dirty and have holes and mold around the walls. I’ve seen rats run pass me! Prices are not what they seem to be, they usually have sales that add up to more than what they say it is. The manager Jeremy does not look up parts correctly, even for returns he turns people down.

      Im not surprised this store went out of buisness. Sounds like they scammed alot of people out of their money. I bought a starterfrom this store and had to pay a $40 core deposit. They told me to save my reciept which i did. All the stores in ** shut down so i contacted customer servive on line sent them a copy of my reciept and was told that l would have to ship the core at my own expense to them to get my deposit back. Makes no sense .

      I ordered a $60 evap valve. They sent the wrong one and since i wasnt signed into my account they said they can only give me the value of the part $3. Scamming people for no reason is not okay. As a mechanic i will never do buisness with them again. Their loss. Even ************ was wayyyy more helpful with my return.

      Frankly the worst service I have ever received. Bought TWO bad batteries at this store. Had to have my car towed to a mechanic because it wouldn’t even unlock the doors the battery was so dead and the car wouldn’t jump (AAA tried). The man at the store was incredibly rude to me, spoke down to me as if I were incapable of understanding the complexities of batteries. Had to have the mechanic explain on the phone why it was showing “good” but when the car cranked up, the voltage dropped from 12.6 to 4.6 and that was the problem. He then scoffed at me and told me only the store GM could do a return on a battery. So I came back the next day at 7:45 am when she was there, but she then refused to return the battery staying store policy and couldn’t understand why I didn’t come back to have it replaced, as if I didn’t have to tow the car to solve the problem. I can’t just tow it to advance and hope that it’s the battery, I had to have a mechanic look at it and buy a battery from them so I could drive it. Now I have a battery that I can’t do anything with and I’m out several hundred dollars. When I explained that the employees told me that I could return it, she basically told me that that’s a bummer but refused to correct her employees mistakes. 0/10 will never shop here again. This wasted a week of my time, I didn’t have a workable vehicle for 4 days, AND I’m out hundreds of dollars. Rude employees and useless management unwilling to correct their mistakes, with obvious lack of training/knowledge on any employees part and no accountability. Multiple bad batteries back to back. A scam.

      I purchased a started there for my vehicle in October now approximately 90 Days later the starter was not functioning properly causing damage to the flywheel in my vehicle. I had it removed and returned for replacement. Now 9 days later the same thing is happening. I have spent $300.00 on mechanic labor and now I have to do it again ?! I called their "customer service complaint line" and realised it is basically a powerless vent line. They will do nothing to rectify their terrible service by selling horrible quality ******** parts.

      refused to resolve issue was asked to leave ******** store district manager told me that problem was resolved it was ok for a few weeks ... then i was asked to leave again this time i was told by district manager to shop in another store... he would not resolve the issue unexecptable !!! 0 STARS BUT 1 IS THE LOWEST THEY GO
