I opened a support ticket with them to refund me a few month worth of insurance that I had been paying after moving out, as they failed to stop the payments, and I was told on the phone that the most they could do is two months. Then, they close the ticket I had opened, without any update other than an email confirmation stating the following:"It was a pleasure assisting you today. Your request has now been completed and is now closed. If you have any additional requests, please feel free to send a new inquiry to care[@]erenterplan.com.Thank you,RealPage Insurance"They in fact did NOT assist me that day. They just closed the ticket and nothing else. These guys are so irresponsible.

In my complex there are no other ways to pay, except through Resident Direct - which is a function of RealPage. On top of my already high rent, I am charged an $80 per month "convience fee." Worse, if you use a credit card over a debit card (which I had to do when I got my wallet stolen), they don't even tell you how much you owe, they show you the landlord's charge and show you that you will also owe "+3.10%." This is criminal and the Company should be investigated for fraud, in addition to all the antitrust violations it has been committing.

The system is riddled with errors that had to be corrected manually. I received a renewal notice that month-to-month rent would be 2x current rent. When I called the property managers they said that's a mistake and rent will only increase 9%. I had to call multiple times, three months in a row, to get the correct amount reflected in my account each time, because the month-to-month premium kept showing up as 2x my rent.RP failed to pro-rate my rent for the month I moved out, leading to yet more phone calls to management. Sometimes it would add charges retroactively (e.g. I paid my balance in full one month, then the next month my account showed I had only paid a partial balance, and charged me a late fee to boot). I was incorrectly charged 3x cleaning fees when I moved out. I was also charged the month-to-month premium the month after I had moved out.Feeling relieved to have left, because the beginning of every month meant at least five phone calls to management to get the account fixed (which is also to say, management at the property was awful too).

$147 convenience fee is criminal. Also very deceptive on how you are charged it when you have multiple roommates. Is not clear that you are being charged the fee until you get emailed receipt. 30min on hold and 30min of stonewalling. Classic racket

Horrible service that monthly payment does nothing for this so called credit reporting company. They literally do nothing except the first initial report. I called so many times and even filed many complaints with them and experian. After multiple calls and complaints to them directly they blaimed it on experian and other credit bureaus....but in turn they NEVER report anything and even after filing grievences it never reported monthly payment on my rent and did absoluetly nothing like other rent reporting agencies. I had them for about 9-12 month period and I called about 6 times for the same run around lies. This is officially a scam. Not the most expensive buy a waste of time and energy.

Real Pages Active Building app my landlord requires tenants use for rent payments does NOT disclose it adds AFTER your credit card payment posts that it grabbed a $52 euphemistically named convenience feeotherwise known as a junk fee or fraud. Well remove it, says customer service, but then your payment will be canceled and youll have to pay a late fee.In fact, these cons add their $52 haul to all but one payment method and never disclose it unto its too late.

RealPage is a contracted third-party payment processer servicing the property management industry. RealPage offers credit card, ***, and other payment options to the apartment communities it contracts with. RealPage is required to adhere to the various card brand rules as well as the *** rules. On 7/1/24 the complainant initiated a payment using a **** card, which resulted in a fee of $52. All fees are clearly disclosed prior to the consumer clicking the proceed to confirmation page. The consumer can cancel the in-process transaction before it is submitted for payment, allowing them to select a different form of payment that *** have a lower fee.

zero stars for a business in this economy to claim "convenience" at the cost of an extra 50 dollars a month to make an electronic rent payment should be considered a scam, rent is already at an all time high not to mention living in ***** utilities are high and this business doesn't allow for any other lower cost option to paying your rent and the property managers who use only this business shame on you as well you have to know what the tenants are being charged. For a 12 month lease on rent ***** monthly that's 600 dollars more for the duration.

Our apartment told us we could make payments online. Nothing in our lease mentioned a processing fee of $27 or of the apartments association with RealPage with their product. Their site tracks you with their cookies and spams you with ads to win a TV if you pay your rent with their preferred payment method. We paid, a one time payment, over the phone with their Resident Direct option. We specifically choose the option to NOT save that card on file.Guess what they did? Saved the card on file and built it into the automatic payment plan [we never elected this]. We switched to paying a more controlled route to prevent scummy tactics. If you're a landlord looking to s**** your tenants over, then you find your unethical company.
